Julia Stiles has joined the cast of ContentFilm's biopic of 19th century Scottish poet Robert 'Burns', says Variety.
Stiles play the role of Jean Armour, the poet's muse and true love. Gerard Butler plays Burns. Other cast members include Brian Cox, John Hannah, James McAvoy, James Cosmo, David O'Hara and David Hayman.
The movie is helmed by Vadim Jean, and is scheduled to shoot in spring.
