Actor John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are conjuring up a rewrite of the New Line/Benderspink comedy "Burt Dickenson, Most Powerful Magician on the Planet Earth."

Chad Kultgen's original screenplay follows a big-time Las Vegas illusionist whose preeminence is threatened by a younger "extreme magician."
