Greg Kinnear has signed on to join Billy Bob Thornton in Paramount Pictures
The Bad News Bears, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie, which is a remake of the 1976 Walter Matthau starrer, follows a group of Little League misfits who are transformed into winners.
The writing team behind Thornton's
Bad Santa, Glenn Ficcara and John Requa, will be returning to pen the project. Richard Linklater is set to direct.
