Jordana Brewster (
Fast and the Furious) has been cast opposite Kip Pardue (
Driven) in Maverik Films romantic comedy
Chasing Fate, with Nigel Dick directing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Chasing Fate finds Pardue starring as a successful man whose life unravels after he dumps his fiancee (Brewster). When she finds sudden fame and fortune, he becomes convinced that they were fated to be together and sets out on a journey to win her back.
Production is scheduled to start in the spring, with shooting set for Los Angeles and San Francisco.
