Jim Carrey In 'Children Of The Dust Bowl'

Jim Carrey's next movie is to be 'Children of the Dust Bowl', a drama based on a true account from the Great Depression. The book was written by Jerry Stanley, reports Variety.

Set in the emergency farm-labor camp that John Steinbeck wrote of in The Grapes of Wrath, Stanley's book told the story of a high school superintendent named Leo Hart who organized the construction of a schoolhouse in a section of the Arvin Federal Camp community dubbed "Weedpatch Camp". There the homeless children received an education.

Carrey will star and also produce the film which is set up at Miramax Films.
