DreamWorks has scooped up the film rights to British kids book series "
Children of the Lamp," and set it up with Nina Jacobson to produce. Scribe Lee Hall will adapt.
The first three books in author P.B. Kerr's fantasy series have sold more than one million copies worldwide. Next book, "The Day of the Djinn Warrior," is due out in September.
