Catherine Zeta-Jones To Make 'Coming Out'

Franchise Pictures has agreed to fully finance Catherine Zeta-Jones first film as a producer, in the rugby comedy 'Coming Out'+ in which she will play a Welsh hairdresser, according to ScreenDaily.

Alan Cumming is said to be negogiating to join the project, which will also be produced by her brother David Jones. The story is written by Sara Sugarman and Kevin Allen and will be shot in the UK and Wales. Cumming will play a flamboyantly gay West End performer who inherits a Welsh rugby team on his father's death and has to battle local prejudice and debt to rebuild the team and win the rugby championship. Zeta-Jones will play an old friend of his for whom he helps rekindle a relationship with his brother.
