MGM is to distribute an original dark comedy called
A Dog's Breakfast, which was shot by members of the cast and crew of the sci-fi series "Stargate Atlantis" and "Stargate SG-1" while on production hiatus earlier this year, according to Variety.
Pic marks the directorial debut of David Hewlett, who stars on "Atlantis."
"A Dog's Breakfast" is about siblings who have always driven each other crazy. When Marilyn brings home her new TV star fiance, Patrick is sent over the edge.
Pic was shot in high-definition on a budget of less than $1 million.
