Barrymore & Favreau Drop Out Of 'Date School'

Date School
Drew Barrymore and director Jon Favreau are not going to Date School, as they dropped out from the project when Owen Wilson left, according to Variety.

Barrymore and Favreau had both been on the project much longer than Wilson, but decided to leave after Wilson did. This is speculated to there being no other major actor ready to do it.

Date School, penned by Abby Cohn and Mark Silverstein, concerns a woman who's unlucky at love and turns to a dating instructor for help.

Date School is in contention with many other dating-themed pics upcoming in 2004, among them the Will Smith starrer Last First Kiss and Adam Sandler starrer 50 First Dates, and Win a Date With Tad Hamilton.

50 First Dates, which co-stars Barrymore, and Tad Hamilton will be released close to Valentine's Day. Last First Kiss is scheduled for a November release.
