Scribe Emily Fox has signed on to writer
Daughter of the Bride, which Goldie Hawn will topline and produce, according to Variety.
The comedy is an adaptation of the Washington Post article "Bride and Joy: Guiding Mom Down the Aisle," written by Francesca Segre.
Instead of a mother planning her daughter's wedding, plot revolves around a single woman who finds herself in the unusual position of planning her mother's wedding and must also serve as the "mother of the bride." Hawn will play the mother.
