The Day of the Dead, the Mexican holiday devoted to the deceased, will be turned into a horror project for Paramount Pictures and MTV Films, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Diego Gutierrez will write the screenplay. He has previous writing credits include 'Dawson's Creek' and 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.
