Lucas Cruikshank and Jaime King are attached to star in "
Emo Boy" for Vanguard Films. The live-action adaptation of the graphic novels created by Stephen Emond and published by SLG Comics will revolve around the travails of the melodramatic title hero, a high schooler who believes he has "emo powers." (For the uninitiated, emo refers to exceptionally sensitive young people.)
Cruikshank will play
Emo Boy, and King will play Mrs. Hutcherson, a teacher and "emo sympathizer." A panel about the property is set for Saturday at Comic-Con.
