Columbia To Take On 'Enron'

Enron
In a high six-figure deal, Columbia Pictures has acquired screen rights to "Enron," the Lucy Prebble-penned play that dramatizes the scandalous rise and fall of the Texas energy company.

The play is a story of greed and fraudulent accounting practices that transformed Enron into a powerhouse that at one time employed 22,000 people and reported $111 billion in revenues before its fall.
