Family Union
Tv's 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane is heading towards the big screen with Family Union, he is set to co-write and have his directorial debut on the comedy, according to Variety.

The broad comedy, being co-scripted by Mike Barker and Matthew Weitzman, centers on a commonplace nightmare scenario --- going home every five years to face one's dysfunctional family.

MacFarlane, who brought the screenplay into Spyglass, created and wrote 'Family Guy' for Fox when he was 24 and voiced some of the main characters.

He is working on a new comedy animation pilot for Fox, 'American Dad,' for which he will also voice many of the parts.
