Gina Gershon, Danny Glover and Robert Patrick will lead the cast of the indie film "
Five Minarets in New York."
The movie is the English-language debut of Turkish writer-director Mahsun Kirmizigul, whose previous film, "I Saw the Sun," was Turkey's foreign-language film Oscar submission last year. Gershon will star as Maria, the wife of a Turkish scholar who is arrested by federal authorities after being wrongfully accused of a crime.
