Greengrass To Guide 'Flight Plan' For Disney


The Walt Disney Co. is in negotiations with Paul Greengrass to direct the film "Flight Plan," reports The Hollywood Reporter.

"Flight" marks the first major studio work for Greengrass, who most recently wrote and directed the award-winning drama "Bloody Sunday."

"Bloody Sunday" is a documentary-style account of the infamous clash between British soldiers and Irish protesters in 1972, took home audience awards at both the Berlin and Sundance film festivals.

In addition to "Bloody Sunday," which is being released by Paramount Classics this fall, Greengrass' previous credits include the romantic drama "The Theory of Flight" and the television drama "The Murder of Stephen Lawrence."
