Paramount Pictures Australia has inked its first Aussie pickup, "The Final Winter," a privately financed football feature from tyro production company the Three Scallywags.
Pic centers around a man at the end of his football career in the '80s, when new money changes the game.It stars newcomer Matt Nable, who penned the script, and ex-rugby player Matthew Johns, with John Jarratt, Nathaniel Dean and Raelee Hill.
