Julianne Moore Signs Up To 'The Forgotten'

Julianne Moore has signed on to star in the supernatural thriller for director Joseph Ruben in The Forgotten, according to Variety.

Moore will play Telly Paretta, a grieving mother struggling to cope with the loss of her 8-year-old son. She is stunned when her psychiatrist tells her that she has created eight years of memories of a son she never had. But when she meets a fellow patient who has a similar experience, Telly embarks on a mission to prove her son's existence and her sanity.

The Revolution Studios picture, which starts shooting before the end of the year, was written by Gerald DiPego ('Angel Eyes', 'Phenomenon'). Columbia Pictures will distribute the movie expected to be released next year.
