Hey, I'm new and I'm gonna take a jab at this. Please keep in mind that I am fans of both (though more for Terry Bogard!)

Or maybe a draw. A draw clearly sounds more appropriate. I've honestly always thought of Ryu being a Japanese version of Terry and Terry being an American version of Ryu anyways.
Explain what? You make it seem that everybody in Fatal Fury is made to look weak next to Terry Bogard. From what I believe, Terry never defeated Ryuji and he is no where made to look weak next to Terry. I heard a couple of times(though Sado says not true) Terry lost to Kim during there first encounter. The only character that SHINES MORE than Terry is Mai....though because of T&A.
By the way since you stated Ash "Cherrypicked" Iori that means Iori never really lost a fight am I right?
Though you just hate the character Terry bogard because he beat Geese...what was the story suppose to be in the first FF?!...Terry loses to Geese?...In that case Kyo should have lost to Rugal in 94, Ryu should have lost to Sagat, Ryo should have lost to his father. And christ you blabber on and on and on about Terry shining like it's going on TODAY. There is no more FF so Terry does not shine. In MOTW's as I ALREADY STATED Rock shines NOT Terry. This is like a f**king merry- go round.

You do of course notice how I asked you to name someone who beat him & you couldn't. Terry losing to Kim would be cool, that's why I'm about 99.9999% sure it never happened.(especially not in tourney) If Ryuji beat up everybody in FF at the same time but Terry could somehow f**k w/him, explain how that doesn't make the other FFers look weaksauce bigtime mane. If you do that I'll give you a shiny red nickel. Even Sado agreed the 1st time this came up. Mai shines a 'lil more than she should(Mary & King need more screentime. She's there for eyecandy. In those KOF:Maniax books that may be canon, she gets exposed like a mofo by that assassin chick w/the "tig ol bitties". Terry on the other hand is called the champ & kicks ass w/Alba the wierdo Meira. (btw, RYO got beat up by a lil' girl dressed like a cat) Terry shines way more than her & I actually agree that he should. Seriously though, if you can find 2 people in pre-Rock FF that were placed as high(capable of securing a W over him) or higher than Terry you win. If not, I win. Terry shined & nobody else did.
I already stated the jury's still out on that one. If Terry & Rock fought & Terry didn't win or if they didn't fight at all, you're right & I'll be the 1st to congradulate you. 'til we find out though, I'm only speaking on pre-Rock FF. Otherwise known as the popular sitcom "Terry Bogard Can't Lose". Ryu basically did lose to Sagat. Ryo should have never been made. Him winning or losing won't stop him from being a waste of gamespace. Kyo DID lose to Goenitz. That alone says he wasn't made to look unbeatable like The Bogarder was. I wouldn't have minded him losing to Rugal. He's my 2nd favorite SNK boss. I think Kyo was losing the 2nd time till Rugal self destructed. I think Ash cheated, but in the end Iori was laid the f**k out. You said a while back that Terry was laid out in KOF. You NEVER got back to me about who did it. I'm not trying to get you to stop liking Terry. Hell, I'm basically the only mofo who don't here. Still, even his fans admit he was placed well above his fellow FFers. The fact that he never lost to ANYBODY is a good bit of evidence don't you agree? If somebody just laid him the f**k out just once, I don't care if he beat them the 2nd time they fought, I'd appreciate Terry a whole lot more. It's not like he has no redeeming qualities like punk @ss Ryo. He's very likely to be SNK's most original character he might be the most original in fighting games period. As for Mai the thing she is the most overrated SNK female character with Iori being the male. Okay "shine" is not the word rather than it would seem she is more popular than Terry. There is way more Mai and Iori merchandise than that of Terry,Ryo and Kyo so that dont kid yourself jazz can go out the window.

The reason that is happeining, because NOW Playmore would rather stick to the "Kyo&Iori always saves the day hogging the spotlight routine" I wish they would make another FF. You just want Terry lose to lose in FF period and stop shining(I understand that) As I keep stating even though KOF, MOTW'S is different from FF, it's still the same character of Terry Bogard and he does not shine. To conclude in honesty Yamazaki would probably capable in securing a win over Terry.

You may be right about the merchandise(&you know I'm too f**kin' lazy to confirm it Real slick mane). Mai makes good eyecandy. I'd be real surprised if Mai ranked higher than Terry in that thing where Iori was voted "Best KOF" that you brought up. Having more merchandise than Ryo isn't much of a feat 'cause nobody really gives a sh*t about him. So let me just make sure of something does more popular than Terry = overrated to you? Now that I think of it, ALL the characters you called overrated seem to be more popular than Terry to you.
Didn't Rugal self destruct though? Kyo still got KTFO by Goenitz. Iori was still laid out & he's not the hero. & who's this mysterious character who laid Terry out in KOF? I'd really like to know.
