There is a new Hyperspace Before The Helmet picture on Star Wars.com today. It is of one of Bail Organa's Assistants played by Caroline de Souza Correaoes.
She has a slight remeblence to Natalie Portman. If indeed Padme die could this character be whom raises Princess Leia???

But i did leran Bail ( Jimmy Smits) Playe don NYPD(1994) Blue like you said.
Also on LA LAW(1986) , the Miami Vice pilot(1984) .
