Just wondering if anyone here benchmarks their PC's. If you don't know, 3d Mark is a benchmarking utility used to test your systems speed when it comes to 3D games. If you have used them before, post your scores here. If you haven't, you can download them for free at www.futuremark.com.

There is 3D Mark 2001: which basically tests you're whole system and is heavily CPU dependent.

There is 3D Mark 2003: which is basically all about what graphics cards you have.

Anyways, my scores are as follow.

3D Mark 2001: 15304

3D Mark 2003: 4500

How these scores break down is basically like this...

3D Mark 2001___
A score of 5000 or lower is pretty lousy, a system about 2 years old should be getting a score of this..
A score of 10000 is about average, a system of about a year in age should be getting this score...
A score of 15000 is a beefy system, pretty new but isn't completely "uber"
A score of 20000+ means you have an "uber" computer, one of the best in the world

3D Mark 2003___
Score of 1500 or less is a fairly old graphics card, not optimized for Direct X9, probably a year old 2 old.
Score of 3000 is a pretty decent graphics card, something along the lines of a ATI Radeon 9600 or something, can use DX 9, but not quite optimized for it.
Score of 5000 means you have a very good graphics card, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro or soemthing along those lines.
Score of 8000 means you tweaked the hell out of the one of the best graphics cards currently on the market and have it running nearly twice as fast as it should be, it is impossible to get this score using a card running on it's default frequencies.

Anyway, post you're scores.
