Custom, on one hand is alot cheaper... well, sometimes. You can build any kind of shiz in that comp. Market Ready has great comps also, but, its most of the time more expensive. Some people just buy the market ready comps just because of the brand names, and not because of the qualities of the computer.

the thing is brand name doesnt really matter, cause HP or COMPAQ arnt making most of the parts in it, anyone can buy the exact same parts that are in a computer sold in a store.. hell you could even find the one you like see what its got and go copy that exactly, its almost garunteed you will save money.
