in a new hope obi said "obi-wan kenobi now that a name I have not herd in a long time a long time oh before you were born to Luke"

which must mean that it was in ep 2 or 3 he called him self ben what do you think ?

I believe at the very end of Episode 3, Obi-Wan takes the name "Ben"
