who knows, if palpatine turned the injured anakin into a machine, why couldn't he do it with maul?

ok, time to straighten this out once and for all. Grievous is not maul. what happened was that Lucas asked for a droid general. it was decided that he was gonna be mostly mechanical but somewhat biological. the anamatics were already started before the design was finished, so as a filler, they used darth vader's body wiht maul's eyes
