I don't know... Surfer is the most powerful, that's true, but Juggernaut is Juggernaut. Anybody who can give Hulk or Thor serious trouble, is, in my opinion, a candidate to fight Silver Surfer.

By the way, I don't say Juggernaut is in the same league as Surfer - he would probably lose - but it would be a good fight.

Unlike Thor and Hulk....Silver Surfer uses energy projection and his speed too well.

Unless the comic is written poorly, I don't see how Juggs will even get close enough to lay his hands on Silver Surfer.

That's true, as long as Surfer keeps distance => no problem. But I really think that when Juggernaut gets his big hands on Surfer, Surfer could be in for a surprise.

i was pissed off and felt like insulting somebody who deserved it and still does deserve it. Not many guys I know would have Tom Cruise in their icon and sig pic, especially given that he is someone females regard as attractive. Silver Surfer is a mere comic character.

Anyway, that being said, whether I assumed it was a safe assumption or not I did make an assumption, so I apologise. Considering the reason you were getting flamed was because of a joke I was involved in, yet I even admitted it were funny. I could have gone mad but I didn't so to pick out what was merely a safe assumption is a bit unfair I think.

Either way I agree with Vic's sentiments, when did Juggernaut hit the big leagues?

Indeed. Why does everybody here think Surfer will have a walk in the park ? In other threads, Juggernaut is being overestimated, but here it's the other way around.

Juggy is definitely one of the bigger guys. He's - roughly - on the same level as Thor and Hulk (let the bashing begin ). Note : I didn't say better or stronger.

Surfer will win in the end (and certainly if he keeps distance), but watch it, Norrin Radd, don't let him come close to you !

I just re-read what i posted earlier, and it seems that i make it pretty one sided in Silver Surfer's favor.

I DO think it would be a good battle, and I think Juggs could give him a run for his money....if he gets close.

But you guys gotta realize...Surfer won't throw punches....he'll just blast the crap out of him.

Now if those blasts have no affect on Juggs...that's totally different.

But Surfer isn't so dumb that he'd get into a slugging contest with Juggs, because though i'm not entirely sure...i think Juggs is much stronger physically.

I just don't like the whole "superheroes in space" idea anyway. I think the extent to which it should go is astronauts having accidents or something - but the whole beings in space and stuff is just too corny.

I don't think his blood will boil, or that his body would swell and explode. He's virtually invulnerable, thanks to his forcefield.

Btw, when thrown into space, without protection, your blood will not boil and you will not freeze (your skin will swell a little bit). You will probably lose consciousness after a short while and die. When you're exposed to direct sunlight, you could get burned also.

Well, there's an episode where they have a spoof of superheroes, with guys like The Human Bullet (Iron Man mickey take), Major Glory (Supes/Cap America hybrid), Crunk (Hulk) and Val Halla (Thor mixed with Iron Maiden) - and the Silver Spooner, who rode on a big spoon, and was camp as hell ("Judy Garland? Where!????".

So it's not just 4 of us that think Surfers camp either.

Big Surfer fan here!
Unfortunately, Surfer is not invulnerable. He has had huge chunks of his body disintegrated by an entity that wasn't even on the "Big Boy" radar.
He has also been defeated by physical blows, as well as energy attacks.
And, there is nothing for his PC to manipulate with Juggernaut. His field is magical in nature. If this was a lower-level magic, his PC could possibly overpower it. But, Jugg's shield has been shown to stand up to Surfer-level attacks.

Honestly, I think the Surfer could still defeat Juggernaut probably 8 out of 10, just because Jugg's does not match up well against Surfer. Unless Juggernaut makes use of some of the more exotic ways people have weilded the Cyttorak power. Just having an indestructable shield isn't going to win this for him. And, even if he was able to amp up his strength to be stronger than Surfer, the Surfer character is rarely written in a way where he just stands there and goes blow for blow.

He would win. But, it would have to be a smart use of Surfer's abilities. Like, maybe teleporting the gem out of Cain or something. Opening up a portal inside his shield or something.

It depends. Certain energies, waves, stimuli, seem to be able to get through Juggernaut's field.

It has never been explained how that part of his power works.

Surfer 10/10 FTW, Juggy just cant compete with the power cosmic.

To correct something said earlier, if hurled into space technically things do "explode" if not placed within a pressurized enviroment. The air pressure of earth pushes 14.7 pounds per square inch constantly and your body pushes the same pressure outward so therefor you dont crush of explode, but in space, where you dont have that air pushing down on you, your body would still push outward pressure, resulting in you "exploding"....
