Smaller sigs look much crisper and neater. Go to basically ANY Adobe/Cinema4d etc forum and they'll say the same.What program do you use? If your using Adobe, take advange of filtering, blending,choice of font,layer style etc.

In Fact I still make my band sigs bigger than that (500x150), because the pics of the bands are mostly too big for such a "crisp" sig

My new Iron Maiden sig...

Because of the 30k limit I had to make it in JPEG which meant quality loss...

And although it is a band sig, it is only of 450x140 pixels
