ye GG it's too pixelated. you should try practicing with adobe photoshop like i am atm. this aint a flame or anything jus some casual advice bro.

i don't have photoshop, i downloaded it but i could never find it or open it.

i had to use paint, and stretch and minimize pictures, and when i saved it did that 'cuz it didn't look like that before i saved.

and using paint, that is good, 'cuz paint isn't the best.

do you get what i mean when i say paint, like in the accesories, that workshop type thingy, ya whatever.

well moon, great idea, young and old, but i dont like the design.

hey i never said i dont like it. i just think the concept far outweighs the artwork. so many fan posters i see are just images plastered together with no rhyme or reason. its nice to see one that kinda tells a story, has depth beyond "look, these are the characters"
i think if you worked it better, it would be worthy of tf.n EASILY.

EDIT: what i mean by "technically no" is the designs hit my desk already laid out. its my job to separate the flattened image into spot color screens, which is all photoshop work. BUT, the designers at my company don't really create anything either, they just layout sent images with text and whatnot.

i saw the designs on TF.Net and really hope that those are not legit,
because they are all 1 color jobs, so no skill involved.

You know, I think this is closer to the truth than you may know. I do lots of googles for star wars information, and the first few hits are almost always kmc.com! Even beating out tf.n and the OS!

Frankly, I think this contest is a kind of cool idea. And while GG has been posting a lot, I wouldnt call him an attention whore. How do you expect people to come here and share stuff if you tell them to go back to where they cam from. Bottom line, I dont think GG was in the wrong in what he said and PVS was a little hypocritical in his retaliation. Remember a couple of days ago when I was apparently "flaming" and PVS told me to lay off? yeah thats right, everyone should just stay on topic and keep posting cool looking pics. i dont see the difference between the photoshops, i have 7

1 big difference: stability

but i guess if you're not working with huge files,
you wont fall victim to the bugs. one of the most viciouse bugs
is when you save a huge file (with many channels) the program will go through
the motions of saving, but it will really just dump your work out,
leaving you with the exact same file you started with.
i fell victim to that on BIGTIME, and lost alot of$$$

5.5 is the most stable version i think.
never crashed on me. just lacks an expanable history pallet, some
filters like liquify, but who needs that junk?

I have photosho2 and no tools for it so I just said that cause it was the latest version.

that was my first verion, had it like 12 years ago, and even then it was considered ancient. at least get photoshop3, so you learn to work in layers.

ps 6&7 have an expandable history pallet, meaning the amount of undo's you have. 5&5.5 have 19 undo's (i think) but now you can set your preferences to have much more undo's. but why do you need that many? thats what backing up is for.

and as far as the newer filters...bah ..who cares.

the bugs make me actually want to downgrade to 5.5
