If these two ever ran into one another what would happen?

Scenerio 1: Both in a hand to hand streetfight

S2: Both with have a knife

S3: Both have a handgun and are in a warehouse

S4: CTU - lead by Baur - goes after Jason Bourne but Bourne decides to go after CTU itself and take out Baur

Who's the better fighter? Who's the better strategist? Baur or Bourne?

Jason Bourne

well, since this is in the TV Forum, and Jack Bauer is a TV character, while the character of Jason Bourne comes from books and movies, I would go with Jack Bauer

as much as these VS threads mean and can be debated, that simple comparison is enough reason to pick Jack over Jason...

in reality, I don't think they would face off or fight to the death, since they are both essentially 'good guys'... they might duel for awhile, but in the end they would come to some understanding, Jack would help Jason kill off more super spy types, and Jason would help Jack take out some terrorist cell, if it was real, which it's not, so doesn't matter...

Jason Bourne will kick Jack Bauers ass in a gunfight a knife fight and any other fight he will probably beat him in a car chase as well and that would be intereating.

Jason Bourne is a living weapon. His abilities dont just end with fighting, hes a strategist. While Baur would try to handle things as thye come, bourne is an espionage specialist and is a highly skilled assasin, nothing is done sporadically for him. In a street fight, bourne would win no problem because he is diciplined in so many different art forms and he keeps himself under a rigorous physical standard. Even when he gets old, in the The Bourne Ultimatum, he runs 5 miles a day and weight trains twice a week.

S1- Bourne
S2- Bourne, did you see the knife fight scene in the Bourne Identity, Bourne didnt even need a knife, he used a friggin pen!
S3- Hard to say, Bournes good, but he's no god. Although He did manage to take out an entire pack of attack dogs and 3 armed gaurds in The Bourne Ultimatum, and in that book he was in his 50's. Imagin him at his prime.

Baur doesn't stand a chance.

Jack is lucky to be alive. Jason is a killing machine.
A better matchup would be Jason Bourne against Casey Rybak..

Bourne wins every scenario except maybe the 4th one and i love bauer and 24

Touche! Jack Bauer is definetly the shiznit...id have him on my side any day of the week. the guys got friends in every place imaginable...I mean come on, who else would have thought to Call up Tony Almeda last season to back him up...the guys a genius!

Jack Bauer would definately own on Bourne.

in a fighting match-up yes, but endurance and agility and weaponary i think jack bauer has the edge. personal opinion

On the finale of season two, Jack Bauer was injured but still ran up a wall and broke a guy's neck.

The reason that sounds like it doesn't make sense is because it really isn't possible.
