I saw a small clip of this waaaaaaaaay back, are you talking about the scene were the Jedi attack the control ship or whatever?

I heard about a missing scene like that. Why didn't it end up on the 'deleted scenes' section on the second disc?

Dunno, same thing with parts of the Yoda Vs. Dooku duel that was taken out and not shown on the deleted scenes menu.

The reason for the Jedi assault not apearing on the DVD was because it was not finished. They had not added any CG, special or sound effects whatsoever.

and if you have hyperspcae, you can watch the video, its pretty cool, it was the alternate scene, it wasnt deleted, they just thought of a better story for the scene
