Whoever they choose, the voice will more than likely be put through synthesizers to make it sound mechanical and raspy.

So it doesn't really matter.

well my vote would go for either Malcolm Mcdowell as he's do one helluva job at creeping everyone out. Or after watching the film Phone Booth - Keifer Sutherland. .
But Mcdowell is still my first choice. Although Grevious isn't a sith He should still have an over bareing presence in the film like the other sith we have see so far. Quietly spoken but with a voice that carries a sense of power.
Anyways thats my views for what they are worth.

As much as a fan I am of Al Pacino. I do not see him ever being in a SW film. I mean come on when have you ever seen Pacino in a sci-fi film period. To me Pacino is above SW. He's simply too damn good of an actor to do this film. And in all honesty he would steal the film.

Hello, people! Vader's voice is entirely different from Anakin's, so it is not a simple modulation. It is an entirely new voice created through a program. Therefore, anyone can have that mechanical voice if they want. Grievous will be the first we see to have it. General Grievous has the voice of James Earl Jones! It has already been taped and is circulating on the net. He says lines like. "My army has been defeated, but I will not go so quietly. I have killed dozens of Jedi simultaneously; what chance do you have?"
