This is ofcourse saying the Watcher's break their vow.

I realize most of you are saying ONE watcher against ONE celestial would be no fight, but I saw a comic once where they showed the Watcher homeworld and there looked like there were hundreds, maybe even thousands of them, and there are only about what, 10-12 Celestials? So, I think the sheer number's would help offset the Watcher's inexperience and weaker power's.

crazyspinz
oo, this would be a crazy battle, lots of dead watchers after this one, but i dunno who would win

ScarletSpider
While the Watcher's do have great power, I'd have to go with the Celestials, even with their lesser numbers. They're the space gods, 2000 feet tall or more. They created the Deviants, the Eternals and planted the seeds for mutation in the human race and countless other races. Seeing one of them being born drove Thanos into madness. They are bad mothers.

spyrokinesi35
celetials after all they were able to deafeat and catch hulk and juggernaut

Maestro
I think a better battle would be galactus one on one with a celestial.

Wynndar
umm...do u guys guys realize that there was a War between the two?...please read Fantastic Four number 400... they are pretty evenly matched, however the Celestials gained the upper hand seeing that the Watcher's wouldnt fight back or something retarded...there was a giant Celestial that dwarfed all the others....he was about the same size as the Earth maybe bigger im not sure...i know that the human torch went super super nova on him "enough to burn an entire hemisphere" and he didnt even notice it... i think he was called the Executioner...he was destroying a great huge Watcher, and if this watcher died it would result in the death of all the other watchers...any way, Nathaniel Richards showed Invisible Woman how to tap into Hyperspace itself....using this technique, she shattered a relatively small hole in the executioner so she and some other heroes could get inside...then she alone was able to reach the Executioner's central intelligence and destroy it...after this, the Executioner disintegrated and the Watchers were saved.

Linkalicious
ohhhhh, i know which one that is. I got to get home and check my Thor comic out, but he's like the executioner or something. One celestial comes to judge the planet, he's like 2000 feet tall. Then the big one shows up to kill all the bad people and leave the good ones. He was like 20,000 ft tall.

Thor broke into it's head with Mjonir (sp) and then used his God Force or whatever that strongest attack was in order to break the dome enclosing it's brain.

WEIRD, WEIRD, comic...to say the least.

Wynndar
the executioner in this case seemed far bigger than 2000 feet...a regular celestial is several thousand feet tall...i think this one was planet sized or something

Maestro
regular celestial is 2000 ft tall stick out tongue

Wynndar
yea its not the executioner....its Exitar as someone pointed out on another thread...and he is vastly greater than the executioner

Maestro
yea from this picture it shows you how tall they actually are, and apparently the frame of the left is eternity, who is supposed to have created the celestials so they can find more information for him.

ScarletSpider
I had read on a website it was 2000 ft. As that was far from an official or first hand source, then you're probably right, and the number is much larger.

Linkalicious
i'll take some pics of the Thor comic where the two celestials make an appearance. I don't remember either of their names, but i'll see what i can do to make the picture look good. Later this afternooon. Thor says one must be 2000 ft tall (the one that judges) and then the big one shows up to do the dirty work, and Thor says he's atleast 10x as big as the other one.

Maestro
This is on behalf of everyone, cheers link for taking time out of your schedule just to post pics of the celestials thumb up thumb up thumb up

Lol sounds a bit corny saying that.

Linkalicious
pictures are always nice. I wish we could like....require it....when someone opens up a new VS. thread. If not for the people who don't know who the characters are....then just because pics are awesome.

Maestro
Yea tru, some people don't have a clue who and what the celestials actually look like.

spyrokinesi35
wow, tha centinals a'int got nothin' on them

Beyonder
Exitar the Exacutioner - he comes after a race is judged. If the judge is against, he basically destroys that race and cleanses the planet of them.

Arishem the Judge - deems whether a race is worthy to live or die.

golem370
Here is a pic of Exitar the Exterminator

mdbull73
Thor 388-9--Exitar was at least 10X the size of Arishem the Judge.

Zahit
Arishem The Judge is not one you mess around with......he got game!!!

mdbull73
Id dunk on him with one hand over my eyes like Dee Brown stick out tongue

Yeah but not with a curbstomp.

Utrigita
A single Celestial and a Single Watcher Against each other would IMO draw a stalemate in most cases

Thats what I would like to think but some people are giving the impression that Celestials are vastly more powerful than the watchers. I dunno at the moment im verging to wards the Celestials. The Watchers put up a fight but lose in the end.

Celestials win

My argument for saying this is that even Exitar had to wait eons to build up enough energy to destroy the watchers (that was gathered at the same planet), If the Celestials was so much stronger then the Watchers why didn't they simple defeat them straight away when Arishem gave them the thumbdown my explanation would be that the Celestials and the watchers powerlevels are very close with a slight edge for the Celestials.
