Probably a toss up. DC's Merlin just made a cameo in Xombi 2.

I'm gonna have to go with Marvel's Merlin. He made a sword powerful enough to absorb and redirect the thunderbolts of Zeus and that very same sword was powerful enough to kill a Skyfather level being.

Even if he isn't that Ebony Blade he created is no joke. Also Seis-Neg coveted his power during his quest for godhood.

Not to mention there was a mutant merlin back in an old Thor comic... marvel just can't get their act together on this one.

Is the BOM Merlin the same as the regular DCU Merlin? Did you read Xombi? He had a small cameo in that.

Yeah he's the same, it ties into Etrigan's series since it's mentioned that Belial was Merlin's father
