my mistake...it wasn't Glads it was Cosmic Rider, but he was standing there with him when the statement was made so it was alluded to that CGR was the fastest in his group and even he couldnt catch Nova. Also bear in mind he was beaten badly at that point.

See Batmans whole career for more examples. Thank you, I agree with the Batman showings being PIS, but the Superman speed fest is in order with his powerset, if SS or Glads or Thor did the same thing the Marvel fanboys would be eating it up, they're known for their double standards.
