Magus defeated the Weird sisters twice, once with the Arcane Grimoire and once without. As powerful as Oberon is, there must be a reason human magic is banned from Avalon.
1. Battle in New York.
2. Fight on Avalon.
Who wins?

My vote goes to The Magnus.
Like I said, Oberon banned competing magics from Avalon for a reason. We already saw the Arcane Grimoire allow Magus to transmute children of Oberon against their will.
Granted Oberon is leagues more powerful, but then human magic never showed the sheer scope mere children are capable of, yet he still managed to overpower them, and defend against direct attacks. It stands to reason Fey magic simply isn't very efficient at defending against human spells.

Oberon wins with a gesture.
Not even the Archmage(who had the complete Grimorum incorporated into his being + the Eye of Odin + the Phoenix Gate) would have been a threat. Magus just caught the Weird Sisters by surprise with his spells... But Oberon's children are absolutely nothing in comparison to Oberon himself... As seen when he casually owned Odin(with BOTH eyes intact) and Banshee.

Magus beat them in a rematch though, without the Grimorum. And he nearly knocked himself out simply fending off King Arthur's guardians.
I agree with you about Oberon's power level, just saying if we went on demonstrated feats alone, The Weird Sisters should have walked all over Magus. But they didn't.
In fact in Avalon they were focusing all their power against him, and he resisted. That implies human magic has something going for it, in spite of being "weaker" then Fey.

Tbf, the Weird Sisters were clearly more powerful than Magus in the rematch -- he ultimately had to use iron exploitation to best them. Even though Oberon is still vulnerable to iron to some extent, it doesn't seem to have nearly the same effect on him as it does on his children. As mentioned, the Weird Sisters were completely immobilized by iron chains, whereas Oberon himself soaked an iron harpoon to the chest and fully recovered minutes later.
But anyway, it's clear that human magics(ie. the Grimorum) are not to be underestimated, but I don't think they pose any real threat to Oberon himself. For instance, when Magus used the Grimorum spell to transmute the Sisters into owls and banish them from Avalon, the Archmage used the Eye of Odin(ie. 50% of Odin's power) to casually revert/negate the spell. On the flip side, we saw Oberon own a two-eyed Odin(ie. 100% power) with a literal finger flick... The guy is just orders of magnitude more powerful than any of his children, and/or the relics crafted on Avalon.
Moreover, I believe it was implied that eating/absorbing the Grimorum didn't necessarily make the Archmage more powerful -- it just gave him the knowledge necessary to use his power(ie. the Eye of Odin and Phoenix Gate) to their full capacity.

A bit off topic, but was Merlin a Fey?
Would explain why King Arthur was sleeping there.
Or maybe Merlin was secretly Oberon himself.
