PVS

ctsketch
they are prototypes, no paintjob yet

zutalurs
No. That's GL's new vision for the series.

The Ones
lol.

zutalurs
Yeah! Jimmy Smits is being replaced by Jack Palance. I always wanted my own J.P. action figue.

Jedi Priestess
ok forgive my ignorance here.......but besides for kids, whats the big draw on these things? I mean Im a pretty huge fan but I wouldnt buy one of the action figures if someone else paid for it. messed

PVS
well...technically you would not be buying them if someone else payed for them...so you are correct. stick out tongue laughing out loud

Jedi Priestess
you know what I mean you smartass............why would an adult buy these?

PVS
collectors JP, not everyone buys figures to play with them ya know

Jedi Priestess
ok....not my thing but to each his own big grin

NoMeN

vanyoda

Sith Master X

Anakin2Vader
Thanks for the news and the pics guys.... funny how they ended up on the internet so quick lol
Im 22 and I will be buying some... some of the ones I have from Ep1 and 2, Anakin Obi ect.... of course any Vader or Palptine or Greivous.... its not like I open them and play with them... they just go on the wall

vorphalack
Adults collecting toys is really no more geeky than adults going on message boards and complaining that Darth Vader's helmet is 1/1,000th of a degree off in Ep3....

I mean seriously folks....wink
We're all geeks here. hehehe.

V.

thejeditraitor
these are the best face sculpts i've seen.

Gangularis
yeah, that's what i was thinkin... to the tee.

thanks for the pics and info/description.

Red Superfly
They're like 3D posters to some people - what's the difference?

Gangularis
What....???

Anakin2Vader
^^^ The figures he means... are like 3-D posters

mephistodesigns
yeah, I actually open mine, I have a bookcase they're all in. A shelf for each film. And Superfly hit it on the head, they're like you're own 3-D posters. I have a few on my desk too, a VOTC Vader and a Boba Fett.

Gangularis
nothing...... and i mean NOTHING... will ever compare to the original figures and original vehicles and original lightsaber toys and original figure carrying cases like the chewie shoulder belt that held all your figures or the original busts that held figures.

still, wish i could play with these

Master Kadub
those actions figures have got to be the best design ever for any Star Wars character.....lots of detail on the face and body and hands.....

I never thought I would see the day when a 3 3/4 in. figure would be sculpted.....

tpaquin
For me, at least, it reminds me of when I was younger and I used to be obsessed with coming up with intricate games and worlds for my figures, and through that, help build my imagination. It was sad when i realized that I couldn't go back and play with my figures like I did before. It's not that I didn't want to, it's that I couldn't find the time...

mephistodesigns
Uhhhh...I hope your not refering to the sculpts of the vintage figures, cuz the new ones got it all over those. I do miss that Chewie belt thing, that was cool. They've brought back the carrying cases, same molds too. The vehicles are pretty much the same molds too. But the figures look a hell of a lot better.

AWESOME! Grevious looks fantastic.

mephistodesigns
i was just coming to post those pics. Those are the sneak preview wave, for those who don't know, since the prequels started, they always release a wave of 4 figures before the rest of the films toys are released to pump people up. These look really great. The wookiee, general Tarfful looks really nice, as does Grievous, and Tion Medon is interesting as well. Nice to see everyone coming with weapons, looks like there'll be a bit less talking and a lot more action in ROTS (like we didn' know that).

cylob49
excellent

bobafett81
The Wookie is incredible.

Now, Episode III will be one of the BEST toy line in Hasbro Star Wars history!

Jedi Priestess
WOW I am actually impressed by the Grevious one.

jedijunky1138
