Who's Griffin?

He has a white mane and the head of a lion with a lions body and a man's face. He was like Wonderman's foe for a while. I think his strength is like 190tons. He's tireless and pretty much mindless and ferocious. He has red fur.

THE thing

griffin whoops thing's ass........seriously, I've seen him in a fight with namor.......according to him griffin is almost a match in strength for the hulk........and he battled namor underwater(he lost though)
