Picture: 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen transfer. Pretty standard, not much to say here. Looks good.

Audio: Dolby 5.1 English, French and Spanish. French and English subtitles. No commentaries.

Features: This is the "extended" part: 6 new featurettes. Not too shabby...
- New beginning and ending featurette
- "The Bourne Mastermind" - a look at the author, Robert Ludlum.
- "From Identity to Supremacy" - Matt Damon talk about both films
- "Cloak and Dagger: Covert Ops" - a look at the CIA
- "The Bourne Diagnosis" - look at amnesia

Overall: The Bourne series is a fabulous, fast-paced, non-stop action thriller. It's got mystery, action, thrills, and more twists than a German serial killer. Excellent movie, excellent sequel, and soon-to-be an excellent trilogy that leaves nothing to be desired. The film: 10/10; the DVD: 10/10. Total score: 10/10. A definite upgrade from the original.

IMO, this movie was anything but fast paced. That's why so many people refer to it as "The Boring Identity".

Well, not to get too far off topic..

Pacing wasn't a problem, it just didn't hold my interest because everytime Jason actually had to take someone out, it lasted all of 1 minute, then we're right back to seeing him on the run, or crying about how confused he is. I didn't bother with the second, but Alison said it was much better, since it had the meat of the franchise.

I guess...I saw it for the first time when it came out on video in 2002, and I kinda sorta liked it. But I decided I would check out the Extended DVD, and I liked it alot more. I guess my tastes changed...

Definitely, the book tellls you what the heck is going on, it runs good details of the events circulating this Jason Bourne's mind. You actually feel the character and the feeling becomes intense and suspenseful and ultimately works.
The movie, as all movies ahve to be, is forced to edit and paste scenes, delete scenes, and shorten situations. However, a 9/10 for an overall grade should be given because the movie did keep things flowing, regardless of any rebukes about it. it did keep you wondering what the heck was going on.

The sniper scene in the open country area in the "Identity", that was the shit.

I guess they're coming out with the third installment the "Bourne Ultimatum" soon, huh?
