Han doesn't carry a high energy cannon with him all the time. And Creed isn't letting him get anyway near one. Chewbacca isn't even issue. This battle is over in two seconds flat. After discovering the mutilated appendages of his beloved comrades, an enraged Luke Skywalker faces Creed. Now THAT would be a far more interesting battle.
