yup it has, and the obvious outcome was namor.
aquaman is a cheap ripoff...another character in the dc/marvel feud.
they make aquaman suck hard to piss off namor writers
they make gladiator suck ass with a smile to piss off superman writers
they make quicksilver suck at a lil above normal speed to piss off flash people
remember the character by rob <sp> liefield that looked exactly like captian america? remember how he died? yeah...got hit by a car
lobo is made to piss off anyone who thinks their character is the toughest.
hmm...there are more....anyone know of any blatent rip-offs for the simple action of discrediting the real character?

captian marvel too...i even think dc sued over that one.
