There's been lots of great essays written about pirates. I thought we should have a thread dedicated to some of the best.


All essays are welcome, including shipping ones, but please be sure that the essays are well thought out and are well-written.

It does center a lot on W/E, but there is discussion about J/E and what they all mean to each other. It's a great read. Bear in mind that this was written before Ted pointed out that the movie does not really state that Will is free from the curse (although she discusses how Will might be bound to the Dutchman for longer than what some of us assumed. ).

cool idea. Can't read that..my computer's gone wacko again and won't open livejournal but I'll write one! may not be very good since I haven't had practice but I'll try and I'll post tomorrow.
