UK ROTS Premiere & SW Cinema Marathon
Ghostface sends in news of a UK Star Wars event on May 16th, which involves 3 London cinemas and incorporates the UK premiere of 'Revenge of the Sith':
20th Century Fox are planning a major Star Wars event that will take place in London on May 16th.
Three cinemas in London's Leicester Square will screen the previous five Star Wars movies to the public. If that wasn't good enough, 1 hour after the premiere of Episode III starts at the Odeon Leicester Square, all those aforementioned cinemas will then screen Episode III to the public! There will also be appearances during the day by Star Wars talent in Leicester Square.
The cinemas showing the movies are (timings tbc):
Vue West End Screen 1 - Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Odeon West End 2 - Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Odeon West End 1 - Episode IV: A New Hope
Empire Leicester Square - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Vue West End Screen 2 - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Odeon Leicester Square - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (7.30pm)
Vue West End Screen 1 - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (8.30pm)
Odeon West End 1 - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (8.30pm)
Empire Leicester Square - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (8.30pm)
They plan to allow fans to buy a special ticket, which will enable them to see all 5 movies in a row at the 3 cinemas (5 different cinema screens). They also plan to have individual tickets, as the 3 cinemas will be showing their chosen Star Wars movie all day.
