GL strikes me as being far more powerful than Jedi, who seem more like low/mid-level psionc swordsmen.

I could try and answer it better than you did, but I doubt it would be much better.

100% correct. The GL corp has abilities far beyond that of the Jedi, who are (as you correctly stated) nothing more than low to mid-level psionic swordsmen/police.

Yup, I agree. Jedis are cool, but a bit overrated at the same time.

Well, what if there were more jedi's than GL's??
