khimaria went to the base and instantly fell asleap, when she woke up none of the other spirits had returned.
A crazy idea had come into her head: she had been able to stand the sunlight as a spirit, this body was that of a human and it should take a while for it to get to full vampire strength, maybe just maybe if she went to the serface she could take the sunlight, she thought about this, if she could then it would give her a gread advantage over humans. She had already started to feal the advantages of a human body, the thirst for blood wasn't in her anymore, and nor was the fear of sharp wooden objects or the nausia of looking at holly simbles (she found that out on the way back to her cave in Laura's body.)
She continued her path up to a small sandy door which she proded open very gingerly, the sun met her, a huge wave of nausia fell over her, the type that she hadn't met for ten thousand years and she sat there shakeing with her mouth trothing for a short period of time. With this wave of nausia came the distinct thirst for blood so when the sun went behind a cloud so Khimaria swiftly shut the door hard. A grey haired rat rushed past Khimaria, the unforunate rat was picked up, had its juguler vein slit and and all its blood sucked into Khimaria's body. The Laura part of Khimaria started to choke and Khimaria realised that Laura had began to surface again, but with even these little drops of blood it gave Khimaria new strength to keep controll of Laura's body
"nice try." Khimaria laughed then made her way back down to the librery were the other bodys resided

Loth watched the show from the street corner, Yuri hadn't lost her style, not even 600 years of slumber could take that away from her. The police would be here soon and Yuri's new body would be wanted, a minor setback to their plans, he couldn't let that happen.
Loth closed his eyes and concentrated on the opposite side of the street, slowly the street came into focus in his mind, he could see the people gathering round the car to help the injured mortals as Yuri disappeared from the scene. Loth drifted to the crowd subconsciously, with his body left behind him, he starred the blond man in the eye, 'kill, death, murder, pain' he whispered to him.
A change suddenly overcame the blond man's face, he ran to the car and lifted the gun from the ground, 'stay away I tell you!' he said, pointing the gun towards the crowd.
A man approached him to try and calm him down but fell dead as the blond man blew off part of his head, the blond man started screaming insanely and shooting random bullets into the crowd until finally a policeman who arrived at the scene shot a last fire, killing the blond man; no one would remember Yuri anymore.
"My work is done here" Loth's body and mind returned to be whole again, he got on his bike and kicked the engine to life with a loud roar he set off after Yuri. They had much to learn about this new world, it was dangerous for them to just wander around on their own.
Yuri was walking swiftly ahead of him, he approached her with his bike, she quickly turned to greet the noise but instead smiled at seeing a familiar face.
'Your physical form may have changed but you yourself have not changed at all....Yuri' Loth said with a smile, 'Welcome back, I have been waiting for you. Come I will take you back to catacombs, there is much to catch up on, much to discuss.'
'Leyloth, how nice to see you', Yuri said as she gracefully mounted the bike as if she had done it a thousand times, Loth twisted back the gass and they sped off into the night...

OOC: Nice introduction you two, I think my role in this game will be to clean up after you guys, at least in the start. I'm going out, PARTY, be back tomorow, hungover and ready to write.
I hope to catch up on RE and Hunting....

Xornon propped himself on his elbow, wiping sleep from his eyes, and looked at the woman lying next to him. He had met the young lady at the bar about 4 hours ago. It had only taken about an hour for X's vampire good looks and charm to sweep her off her feet and into bed. He had given her what she would call the best night of her life. Or, at least thats what she would have called it, if Xornon did have other plans for her. He brushed the long brown hair away from her soft neck and gently traced the vien in her neck that he could feel pulsing just under his finger.
He lowered his head and kissed the skin tenderly, letting his lips fall open over the jugular. Before she could wake up or know what was happening, X had bitten her and was sucking the blood out of her body. The first couple of times Xornon had tried this technique, the women he was sleeping with had jumped awake in pain. But over the last few months, he had perfected it.
When the young lady had no more blood to be drank, Xornon got out of the bed and quickly got dressed in his pants and dress shirt, both of which were black. He walked downstairs and into the living room, grabbing his black boots and trench coat where he had left them. As he stepped outside, he took a deep breath of fresh air. It had been awhile since he had last tasted fresh blood. The woman would be missed until she didn't show up to work after a few days, or a friend visited. Even after she was found, no one would understand the death. Two teeth marks, and no blood left in the body. This wasn't the average murder. The autopsy wouldn't help figure anything out either. Eventually, it would be put in the unsolved mystery file along with the others that Xornon had killed, and never be brought up again.
As Xornon walked down the street quietly, he heard what sounded like a man screaming, and then gun fire. Along with the noise, Xornon felt something. He knew the feeling instantly. It had been centuries since he had felt it, but the feeling was unlike any other. He ran towards the noise, and the vampires he knew were somewhere in that direction.

((Hope thats okay))

ooc: nothing wrong with a long post, i like long posts midnite
ic:" DUST, DUST, DUST, DUST" yelled khimaria outraged as she returned to the catacombs central room, after the blood she had taken she had properly woken up and had started exploring her old possessions, her books and ceremonial ingredients were all... ground "yes ground" she said to herself, still they might be able to be used, but most of her books were another matter, many maps to old treasure and artifacts had fallen apart in her hands as she checked there condition, in fact the only book still intact had been a present to her from loth, a valuable book named "The Apocalypse Book Of Beginnings." Although it was a very powerful book she put it down to read at a later date.
something shiny caught her eye, it was sticking out of the rotting desk at the side of the room, her weapon of choice her claws were still in perfect condition and no worse for a few century's were, her stomach rumbled and she felt that there hadn't been enough blood in the rat, she took a few deep long breaths, and picked up the claws. Instantly a shock ran down her arm like a high voltage electric shock, and the claws seemed to subtly shrink, she drooped them in surprise but quickly picked them up again. They now fitted perfectly to Laura's far smaller hands. Khimaria started doing some fancy work with her claws, using them as an extension to her arm and doing some extremely complex maneuvers from a Marshal art all but forgotten even as she was growing up but soon her stomach got the better of her.
She exited the cave, it was a dark night and there seemed to be some kind of commotion over to her left quite near, she moved to avoid that through a dark alley were two men in there late teens were smoking some foul smelling cigars, they looked at her but didn't seem to pay much attention till she passed, she could her the slow sound of mettle being ground like a knife from its sheath, she kept her earls pricked waiting for someone to make there move on her while still keeping the same pace as she was before as if nothing happened. She could hear a second knife being unsheathed and footsteps following her. At the last second before both men started to stab her she ducked and drew out her claws blocking both knives and kicking one of the mens legs out from under him, "*****" he yelled loudly, sounding very surprised as he attempted to pull himself to his feet, Khimaria got the second man's knife stuck in her claws and then using all her strength through it at the man, it hit a coat he was wearing and went straght through and lodged itself in the tarmac, while he was pinned trying desperately to break free, she plunged he left set of claws into the second mans heart, instantly slaying him, the first man was shuddering "***** you killed him." He screamed in surprise.
"yes and i will kill you to in good time." Replayed kihmaria calmly
she walked over to him slowly, she could hear his fast beating heart, she lent down to trace his jugular vein and then bit in feeling the war liquid of life flow from him to her.

" Thanks for your help" Mary said closing the cash register. "Its my job" Ken said putting the last box on the self. "But you were off the clock twenty minutes ago"She said. " I know but once I start a job its hard for me to just leave it" Ken said putting his glasses back on. Ken had short black hair it barely reached the back of his neck. He had dark brown eyes and he was fairskinned he stood about 6'1 and he was about 17 yrs old. He was very smart but he had very few friends because most were jealous of the fact that he could solve the hardest an most complicated problems with ease. He had been doing so well in school that his parents thought getting him a job would take away some of his boredom. So they got him a job at a jewish shopwhere they sell things of the supernatural. " Are you okay honey you can leave now" Mary said packing her things into her car. " Yeah its gettng late. Ill go home as soon as I see you to your car" " Thank you there arent that many good guys left in this world." She said as she locked up and walked with her things to the car. Meanwhile a decayed body emerged from a nearby cave. The body stumbled a couple of steps as it began to walk to the right. It was Xzaar the thrid oldest vampire. He was much different then how he was normally seen he was weak and near death. He needed another body and he needed it fast. " Maybe I dont need another body. I should just end this curse right here and now" Xzaar thought as he walked he then heard sounds he never heard before. Startled and somewhat frightened Xzaar retreated to a dark alley where he hid behind the dumpster still comteplating whether or not he should end his life. " Why not I've had a great run as a vampire I served my purpose in the great battle> Now I can set myself free and live among my ancient kinsmen" Xzaar thought still sitting behind the dumpster. Back at the shop Ken watched as Mary drove off then he reached down grabbed his backpack shifted his books to his right hand and began to walk. By now the sun began to fade and the hour of dusk was upon him. " My parents are probably worried sick. And at this rate I wont be home in another 20-30 minutes" He then looked and saw a dark alley that would give him a direct shortcut to his house in less than ten minutes. After thinking carefully Ken finally decided to walk through the alley and about halfway through he realixed that he was being followed.

animeboy08
As Ken was walking he saw a shadow appear infront of him and two more behind him." Well, well, well if it isnt Mr. know it all Ken" A well built tall looking football jock said. " Paul" Ken whispered. Paul was a bully who had been tormenting Ken as of late Ken tried telling his parents he even called the police which Paul promised them he would back off and leave Ken alone." Look now there's no police, no parents here its just you,me and my boys." Paul said walking towards Ken. Ken started taking a few steps back but Paul lunged at Ken knocking his books out of his hand. " Scared" Paul asked sarcastically as him and his boys bust into laughter. Ken didnt say anything he just stood there. " YOu better be now grab him" Paul commanded as both boys grabbed Ken and Paul pulled out a knife and held it to Ken's face. " I'm going to shut you big mouth once and for all" Paul said holding the knife to Ken's throat. Ken then made a loud yell but it was cut short by a sharp pain across his face. Meanwhile Xzaar heard the commotion and was ripped from his thoughts he looked up to see two boys holding one down with a knife to his throat. " He's going to kill him. I've seen to many die senseless deaths and death will not be the last thing I see in this life" And before Xzaar could rationalize he had taken over Ken's body and right when the knife was ready to stab him Ken broke free of the hold grabbed the hand that held the knife and broke his wrist Paul dropped the knife in pain. Before the other two could react Ken kicked the one to his left in his shin cracking it. Ken then punched the one to his right in the jaw separating it from the main part of his face. He then grabbed Paul who was crawling trying to get away He held him up by his neck sqeezing real tight. " If I ever see you again I promise I will kill you without hesitation" releasing him. Then Xzaar began to walk to a place in which Ken's mind refered to as home but suddenly Xzaar stopped. He smelt something he hadnt smelt in centuries he also sensed it she was diffenately near by. He turned the corner into tha alley just in time to see a pale girl with claws feeding on a man against the wall. "Those claws yes I was right it is Khimaria." Just then she looked up at first ready to act on impulse and kill him but then she smiled immediately recognising him." Save some for me?"

seriph
"Get your own" said Khimaria draining the last drops of blood from the mans limp neck and discarding the grey body and indicating to the other man dead on the floor, for his violent death he had a surprisingly calm face.
She could sense that Laura was feeling fairly nauseated and this was having an affect on her concentration too. "Follow me back to the cave once you have had your snack and we can talk with the others."
xzaar swiftly drained the mans blood and followed her to the cave. "so what do you think of how the world has changed" inquired khimaria

Loth looked back into his mirror, Yuri was gone, just like her to go wander off in a foreign world. She did not understand the dangers that this new world held for her and her kind, she could not go around doing as she wished. As much as Loth hated mortals, he had to respect their rules, for they were in control now. He would have to give them something to feed off of, he took a left and drove to his apartment, he had been ready for this night for the past few months. His premonitions could foresee the future to a point and he wasn't able to find the exact day of his masters awakening.
Loth opened the refrigerator and extracted a medical cooler, it was full of bags of human blood, they would have to learn to restrain themselves from the temptation of fresh blood. They lived on animal blood six hundred years ago so they could live on this blood until the time was right.
Loth shuddered slightly, he felt exited to soon be rejoined with his family. Before setting out loth lit a candle on the counter and closed his eyes, he concentrated on Yuri, she was on a rooftop, she had fed, he felt her strength renewed, he whispered her name and saw her turn to find the speaker, 'Join us at the ancient cave' he did not wait to see her reaction, he knew she had little choice but to do as he asked.
He was no accustom to giving his masters orders but in this new world they would have to do as he asked, at least until he could trust them on their own.
He lugged the container down to his bike and set off to Khimaria, he had much to tell her.

OOC: Midnight, since when do we apologise for taking a bit of control over each other?
I agree this is a new story and we'll have to learn each others characters a bit before doing anything drastic but I trust your judgment.
If you didn't notice, Loth treats you vampires like his masters, he lives to serve them, I'll work a bit more on his character and personality as things develop.

"It's weird and complicated" Xzaar replied looking around the cave. He noticed his sword was still there. He picked it up by it's golden handle and looked at it intriged. "So many humans blood have stained this very sword." He said gripping it even more as he ran his finger over the large ruby that was ingraved in the center of the handle. " Why do you pity the humans they are nothing more than trash" Khimaria said setting her claws down. "They might be but yet I envy them. Sometimes I just wish that" Before he could even finish his sentence he sensed someone approaching the cave he could tell it was a human but there was something about this human that felt strange and different.

XornonJay
Xornon sniffed the air. The scent of vampires was weak, but present. That must mean they were in spirit form. What did this mean? Was it possible that some vampires had stayed dormant since the war? Xornon had followed the two people on the two people on the motorcycle for as long as possible, but had lost them after a minute or so. All he could do now was wander aimlessly around until the scent of his kind directed him to the right place.

((not sure how you want X to be woven into the story. You want me to have him find the cave, or someone find him?))

animeboy08
Well if possible I can work you into my next post Xornon ( only if u want me 2)

((no, that was great. I just needed a way to get to the cave. And feel free to use my char. If there's anyone that i trust with my char its you and acrypt))

Xornon followed the woman quickly and quietly. He knew he probably shouldn't, seeing as the woman was obviously spirit, and he would be in deep sh!t with any spirit for running from the war so long ago, but he had to find his kind. He was sick of hiding, and if they were going to plan another up rising, then he wanted to be there. He had to regain his honor. He was young and niave in the time of war, but now he was ready.
He followed the woman to an opening in the ground ((i missed where the cave is so yeah, just gonna wing it)). The cave was saturated with the spell of vampire. He was going to crawl in, but then realized if he didn't he would probably lose his life. Who knew how many vampires were down there. And they would probably be on edge, and would ask questions after Xornon was dead. "Hello, is anyone down there?"

ic: "yes" replied khimaria "weird is about the only way i can think of describing it too. My host is too young, so i will see if i can find a ritual of ageing, maybe to take me to twenty years old or so." Instantly her body shook, Laura didn't like that idea and was trying to combat it, this was the price she had payed for possessing one with such a strong mind: the ability to fight back. For five long minutes Kimaria was dead to the world, locked in a mental struggle in the battleground that was Laura's cluttered mind, it was as if laura was throwing thoughts in Khimaria's direction trying to confuse her, and it was working well, Khimaria felt small, and there was a large man on top of her munching her, suddenly that thought left, only to replaced with another of Laura halfway up a cliff with no foothold. But like the other this thought faded, and the part of Laura's mind that Laura still controlled fell asleep.
Khimaria felt exorsted too, but she had to do the ritual before Laura surfaced and threw another riot against Khimaria. She quickly grabbed The Apocalypse Book Of Beginnings, and started looking for the right ritual.

age five years:
take the hair of the subject you want to age, then take some ground garlic (at this point khimaria looked at her ingredient and decided that her garlic was defiantly well ground to a light dust.) sit on the centre of a pentagram with the hair on your lap.(Khimaria eyed the pentagram on the floor, convenient she thought.) And start massaging the garlic into the hair, you may need some water to help.

Khimaria was happy, she had all the ingredients she needed right here in this cave, the only thing that worried her was the garlic, but she dispelled that thought, after all magic was all about improvising. Then she suddenly thought: what if Laura wakes up, but this didn't relay worry her, she should be able to contain the girl she thought.
She took the top off her garlic and added a few drops of water from a puddle outside, shivering in the cold night for she had not felt it for a long time, and Laura's still slightly human body wasn't used to the cold so she quickly went back inside, she sat down in the centre of the pentagram and put the garlic next to herself. she plucked one hair of the top of her head, barley feeling it, and started to rub in the garlic, after a few minutes she fell asleep.

XornonJay
Xornon had expected the second question from someone, and had been dredding it. The one thing most vampires hated most was a coward. "I'm Xornon, and as for my wareabouts during the war...." he paused, knowing that his respect level with the vampire was about to drop by 100%. "I ran. I was a boy, a coward, and I ran." The other vampires face didn't change at first. She was probably thinking of the quickest way to kill him. He had liked this vampire too. She had been the only one to come out and challenge him, and the only swordsperson in the world that had equalled him in a fight. The last thing Xornon needed was enemies amoung friends. But if he was going to die, he wanted it to be by vampire hands.

((sorry its short, have to go to the wonderful world of school))

animeboy08
On his way back to the cave Xzaar thought about Yuri and how she hadnt changed one bit. Then thoughts from both of thier pasts began to flood his mind. Thoughts he tried so hard to forget. " Even after centeries I still feel this way" Xzaar said questioning his feelings. "But she is a murderer who kills for sport and for fun and I dont." Suddenly Xzaar stopped when he looked down and saw Khimaria on the floor. In the middle of the pentagram with The Apocalypse Book Of Beginnings by her side but Khimaria herself was sound asleep. Not really knowing what to do Xzaar picked her up and carried her back to her tomb.

"As a matter of fact, I do," responded Yuri, eyes out to the greenery around her. "1462 on Whitlock...she, my other consciousness," clarifed Yuri. "She also mentioned something about a train...I do not know what that is but perhaps that will lead us there?"

Yuri shrugged the matter off, walking ahead of the disgraced vampire. "You should be so lucky I have a reason to spare your life...especially considering how much I love to make the kill. Perhaps if you give me a reason to spare you I will not be so ruthless...?"

She gave a cackle, a strange thing with Yuri as she never smiled much. "I guess only time will tell..."

While they were gone Xzaar sat there thinking deeply. He must have dozed off because he soon found himself standing face to face with Ken. But Ken was different he didnt try to put up a struggle or a fight he just went with the flow. "I am very impressed with your knowledge of medievel times and the supernatural." Xzaar said taking a step towards Ken." I have many books on it and I must say that your mind is pretty interesting itself"Ken said sitting in a chair reading a book. "Why havent you tried to put up a resistance against me?' Xzaar questioned " There is no need for me to. I've read your thoughts just like you've read mine and you arent a threat to me at all. You are a vampire correct" " Yes I am" Xzaar said looking on. " Its funny cause you have feelings and emotions like that of a human. The affection that you feel for this certain individual is weird I just dont understand it" Ken said with a questioning look on his face." Unlike the others I have no intention of keeping your body forever I just have to finish some unfinished business." Xzaar said but before long he was awoken by a sudden movement but with Yuri and Xornon gone and Khimaria asleep who could it be?

( Hope this add wasnt stupid cause i added it off the top of my head)

animeboy08
What ever happened to that guy who was supposed to be Loth?

XornonJay
Xornon stared at the back of the female's head. Was she toying with him? There was no reason that he shouldn't be killed. He deserved death, and he knew that. Maybe she was testing him, seeing if he was still the coward that he had once been. "There is no reason that I should be kept alive ma'am. In all respects, I should have taken my own life. The only reason I didn't was the thought that there might be a vampire resurrection, and if there was, I wanted to be there, to either be delt the punishment I deserve, or get a chance to redeem the honor I lost." He had talked more then he wanted. The last thing he wanted to sound like was someone begging for there life.
The truth was Xornon wanted very much to live. He had lived to long with the vile humans, and wanted know more but to show them that vampires were both the strong and smarter species.
"The street you want to find is a long walk from here. A train is a machine that carries people to there destination much faster then they can run. Sort of like a big cariot or carriage. The station is two blocks to the left."

midnite127
Yuri scowled despite herself. Stopping in her step, she grabbed Xornon by the shoulder, digging her nails roughly into his jacket. "I know I may be a spirit but I am not so old that you should call me 'ma'am'. I will allow you to call me by my name...Yuri. I want you to get use to the fact that that will be the name of your executioner."

Sighing, she made the left, releasing her firm hold from Xornon. It was no fun dealing with the ones who accepted their punishment. While she'd give him that much for not running away, it ruined the fun of watching them scream in torment...beg for their lives. A toothy smile crossed her lips. Times have changed but I have not.

Smiling to Xornon, she danced her fingers under the fading yellow streetlight. "I do not know how you will go about 'redeeming your honor' but if you desire so much to receive some form of punishment, please, open your..." Her brows furrowed at his jacket. "Foreign cloak...thing."

"Jacket," stated Xornon, complying as he revealed a plain black shirt.

Yuri licked each nail, anticipating the blood that would stain them. "Lovely," An arms length away, she dragged sharp nails across his chest, a little worse than the earlier scratch she had given in their play match. Blood gently rolled down from four obvious wounds, a week or so of healing.

Slowly tasting the blood off her fingers, she strutted towards the station. "Obviously, you will have to cover up those wounds of yours though on retrospect I should have clawed that pretty little face of yours, do you not agree?"

Yuri didn't wait for a response. Her hand instead fell limply from her lips, a combination of awe and apprehension. Now at the train station, her eyes widened at a huge rolling metal contraption pulling into the station. "I'll be damned...oh wait," She rolled her eyes, nearly laughing at her comment.

Turning back to Xornon, she looked him up and down in scrutiny. "Is that," she pointed to the platinum vehicle, the train. "Is this what we will be taking? That?!" Yuri was still in a shock over how something like that could exist, let alone run. Gaining a cool composure, she pocketed her hands. "Let us go then..."

XornonJay
Xornon would have laughed at Yuri's surprise, but the pain from the cuts on his chest, and her obvious temper held his tongue. So it seemed his death would be one of mutalation. That was something he could cope with, by all means he deserved it.
The two walked bought tickets, and walked into the train. Xornon directed her to a seat, careful to pull his jacket over the bleeding cuts on his chest. When they were seated, Xornon took a chance to apologize. "And about the ma'am. I didn't mean it to make you sound old, just giving respect to my...executionor." He said the last word quietly, as to not raise any attention. Even though the train was loud, and the chance of being heard was slim, he didn't want to take chances.
As the train moved along the track, X watched Yuri's expressions. She seemed completly mistified by the machine, almost like she was in a dream. Everytime the train would jerk a little on the track, her eyes would dart back and forth, looking to make sure everything was in order, unnoticable to others, but Xornon was watching closely. The humans calmness made her at ease and after a few more minutes of wonder, she sat against her chair.
"Its obviously of human design," she said, trying to hide the wonder she had displayed. No doubt she had seen him watching her. "It shakes far to much, and the noise is unbareable." Xornon just nodded his agreement. He had actually thought the same thing on his first train ride.
When the train came to their stop, Xornon nudged Yuri. "This is our stop."
She stood and followed the people in front of her out of the train. She looked completly natural for a vampire who was completly out of her element, and time frame for that matter. When they left the station, X looked around. "Whitlock is that way," he said pointing to the right. Yuri just nodded and started to walk. Xornon walked a few steps behind. The burning in his chest had subsided, but the blood had not. He unbuttoned his shirt and looked at the cuts. They were deep. It would probably take about 5 days to heal. He rebuttoned his shirt and buttoned his jacket to hide the blood. He wouldn't try to stop the blood, it would only show weakness.

((Sorry for the control of ur character there midnite))

midnite127

XornonJay
Xornon held back a shiver and continued his walk. The one think he had always hated about London was the cold. Summers nights could be beautiful, but the winter brought snow, and Xornon hated the cold.
Xornon didn't have to give any directions this time, as Yuri had probably memorized the way they had came, and would have no problem finding the way back. Xornon just walked behind her, thinking on there last encounter. Did he really look that young to human eyes, that he could be sleeping with Yuri? He laughed to himself, careful not to let Yuri hear. If only the humans knew. X was pushing on 4 centuries old, and yet, to humans, he appeared very young.
He quit his marvelling and began thinking of his death. It wouldn't be long now. Yuri may be one to lengthen a death, but never put it on hold. X could see that she loved the hunt to much to keep it waiting, but loved to drawl it out for sport, much like himself. In everything he did, he loved prolonging it to taunt the other, in boxing, fencing, even when he was sucking the blood from people. He would take slow drinks, letting them feel the life fluid being pulled from there body. He loved it.
As they neard the train station, Xornon remembered to cover his chest once again, hiding the blood that now soaked his black shirt.
'If only I could have proven my worth", X thought to himself, going back to the thought of dieing. He could have. He may have no honor, but he had the skill to help the vampires. He would die with honor, and he would die without chalenge, but he wanted nothing more then to kill the humans with his brotheren again. But if his brotheren desided death was the better way for him to go, so be it.

midnite127
As they neared the station, Yuri slowed down in her pace, palm resting against the cold of a damp brick building. She frowned in thought, footsteps nearby. It was not Xornon's but rather that of another human prowling around the late hours of the night. Licking her lips, she shined a fang with the tip of her finger.

Nothing wrong with an early morning snack before I turn in... Her stomach grumbled, a sure sign that she should get something...someone to munch on. Going in the opposite direction of the train, she motioned for Xornon to stay quiet as she crept to the corner of the avenue.

Peeking around, she discovered a tall man, around six feet. Wearing a overly large black southpole coat, he held a dangerous look. Paying no heed to his surroundings, he took out cigar, throwing a plastic wrapper to the ground. She was unsure whether or not to go after the shadowy man. But then again...a meal was a meal.

Facing the stranger, Yuri waltzed up to him. "Good morning...." she drawled out threateningly.

At seeing her, the man stopped what he had been doing, flame from a black lighter still wavering in the wind. Spitting out the unsmoked cigar, he removed from a backpocket a foreign black object, similar to the object that had been placed to her head only hours ago. "You, your money, or your life." He readied the Glock with a cold glare.

"None of the above, love." responded Yuri, knocking aside the weapon. "You will not be the one suggesting, rather, you will just give."

"Give what?" He raised the weapon back to her, drilling it into her forehead. "Girlie, your money or your brains'll decorate the f*cking sidewalk."

Right then, she lost her appetite, wanting nothing more but to break his little neck. She didn't care much about the weapon aimed to her head, it was just the fact that it was aimed to her head that was starting to piss her off. The man, at seeing no move to comment, grew impatient, without another warning, pulling the trigger.

The gun veered off course, Xornon holding a look of annoyance along with the gunman's wrist. The side of his neck held the lightest of scratches, but he didn't seem bothered. Instead, he was almost amused at the fear that had struck the stranger's expression. Twisting the man's arm, stranger dropped his gun, a scream leaving his lips. He continued, turning his arm back in a near full revolution.

Just before it snapped, Yuri, eyes glowing, kicked the stranger hard between the legs, traces of red leaking through his jeans. She reeled back a fist, sending a devastating punch into the man's nose, cartilage shooting through brains, his face completely mutilated.

She shook out her hand, coldly. "Screw the meal. Let us get out of here..."

ooc: okay very little at the moment, at the moment I'm waiting for midnite and xornon to come back before i post, the vampires have rissen again, we have all had our first meal in a while(except xornon and loth) loth isn't a vampire and zornon isn't a spirit, me(khimaria) has cast a spell on myself to make me 5 years older, mainly so no-one recognises her but also because laura's body is too young. yuri and xornon have gone to get some cloths, and some larger ones for khimaria as she has grown, and they have found a gunman, this hasn't missed that much out i don't think.

XornonJay
X stepped on the man's already mutalated face, enjoying the sound of bones crushing under his heel. He had almost hesitated when the mugger had pulled the gun, but when he had seen that Yuri didn't know what exactly the gun was, he had to step in.
Xornon ripped the gun from the muggers dead grip and held it up to Yuri. He could see the curiosity in her eyes. She was wondering if he would take the weapon and run, or just kill her on the spot.
"This is the weapon of choice for humans these days. Its called a gun. You pull the trigger, and out of the hole here," he motioned to the barrel, "comes a progectile bullet, or piece of steel. It moves far faster then even a vampire can move, but most humans can't aim well enough to hit a vampire at full sprint." He held the weapon out to her. "Practise with it if you like. I prefere a sword over the weapon any day, but if you are indeed trying to start another war, then you might want to be versed in the human style of fighting."

XornonJay
Xornon walked slowly behind Yuri, wondering if she actually wanted ideas for his death. The truth was, torture had been a past time of his the the Dark Ages, and had learned many forms.
As they walked his chuckled, louded then he had wanted, and Yuri turned to look at him. "May I ask what you think is so funny."
"Oh, nothing really, just thinking back on some of my days as the chief torturer in the king of Englands castle back in the day." Yuri cocked her head in curiosity. "Well, during my self training, I spent a good five or six years learning all sorts of forms of torture. You said you were open to ideas for my death, and it got me thinking, sorry."
Yuri dropped back from her position in front of him, which surprised him a bit. Xornon didn't think she would take a care in his past. But then agian, maybe she just wanted ideas. With her next comment, the second seemed to be right.
"Do tell some of your ideas," she said, almost with a mocking tone of voice, like his ideas would only be sub-par to hers.
X started with one that had crossed his mind earlier. "Well, you could stick me with a bunch of silver needles. The sharp pain would be intesified by the silver. You could also go with the mutalation theme you seem to enjoy so much, and cut off my lips and nose. This would drain emense amounts of blood into my mouth, and if I didn't drown in my own blood, then it only leave you with more plessure." X paused, almost happy with himself for thinking up an idea like that. He had used it only once, but it was very efficient. Then he realized it was his own death he was plotting, and became a little bit more somber.

XornonJay
Xornon stared at the woman in front of him. Could it be? Could this be his Emporess? Could this be the one vampire that could put all vampires back on the seat above the humans? Xornon bowed gracefully, like it would have been done in the olden days. "My Emporess," he said, lowering his head. "My name is Xornon. I was at the great battle, and like the coward I was... I ran." Xornon lowered his head even lower at the lat comment. He could almost feel Yuri's eyes smileing at the back of his head. "I've been training since the day I heard of our loss, becoming an expert in any and all types of fighting, hopeing that one day the vampires would rise again."
X stopped talking, knowing that the Emporess had far more important things to do then listen to him. This was all a formality. All she had to do was wave him away and Yuri would kill him without a second thought.

Khimaria ran her hands through her hair slowly, since she had gone to sleep it had grown all the way down her back and had gone very curly and frizzy. "You leave me with a nasty dilemma." Stated Khimaria, "you have been training and i can see you repent, that would usually still cause me to give you some form of nasty Poisson or let Yuri do her job, of which she is" Khimaria smiled, "very good at. However we are many vampires short for world domination." she smirked. "and more immediately revenge."
In her head Khimaria could here Laura brooding about. "dirty old vampires steeling her body." But after Khimaria's world domination comment she seemed to be thinking "mini me stop humping he lazzer." Khimaria couldn't begin to understand what this meant, so she didn't ask instead she thought.
"Since we are sharing a body now and you have probably looked through my thoughts for a while and know of the war in which my race was all but destroyed, what do you think should be the fate of this... man" she sent mental globules of spit and detain within her head when she thought of the deserter.
Laura radiated surprise and for the first period since Khimaria met her (while she was conscious) she had nothing to say. This state didn't last.
"You expect me to decide the fate of a man who i have never met and all i know of are the memory's of a twisted old...thing that calls herself a vampire to go on." Yelled Laura in the loud manor that she tended to use.
"Yes" said Khimaria firmly
"Well then, i am against loss of life and I am a human not a blood thirsty vampire ***** from god knows were i would have to say let the poor bastard survive." Laura sounded very angry, but the cause of her anger Khimaria guessed and didn't go into it deeply.

"Right." Khimaria said Finlay to Xornon. "I must talk to Yuri, may you leave and let me talk to her in private."
Xornon nodded smiled and did a small silly looking bow on the way out.
"Yuri." said Khimaria "you have spent some time with this man i understand, as things stand i think we could do with another vampire and i am loathed to remove him of our company if he may be of any use." Khimaria paused for a while and then continued mildly amused by the look on Yuri's face. "Don't worry" she exclaimed." I'm not going soft I'm just being practical, its just has he shown you any signs of being treacherous, or useful in any way on you excursion" questioned Khimaria

animeboy08
I watched the vampire come out with a look of anxiousness and a look of nervousness. I'm suprised he doesnt recognise me because I could never forget him even if I tried or maybe he does remember me but still I just stood there knowing a secret that I wasnt to willing to share but maybe if I told them it would shed light on his cowardly action. But knowing Yuri she still would kill him.Sharing this information might actually save his life though and since he isnt to intent on saving himself it's the least I could do. Besides even if I wasnt involved in making him him into what he is today I still couldnt stand by and let him walk to death willingly no matter how much he feels he deserves it. "Thats it if you wont say anything then I will" brushing past him Xzaar went into the tomb interupting Yuri's and Khimaria's converation. "Excuse me ladies but I have a confession to make it was I who sired Xornon and told him to retreat in the 1st place"

(hope I didnt mess up the story in any way)

XornonJay
Xornon spun around and stared in disbelief as the other vampire ran into the room. He had recognized the vampire at once. Xornon went back into the room and stared at the scene in disbelief.

((It didn't miss with anything that i had planned, don't know about them. I do want to hear what yuri has to say about Xornon though, lol. It seems to me if she wasn't so pissed at him, they would get along really well. What a kick ass team they would make, mwhahaha, lol))

midnite127

XornonJay
Xornon stared in disbelief as the entire episode unfolded. As yuri stomped off down the cave, Xornon shifted his stare from the back of her head to Xzaar. "Thanks for saving my life, but don't even think about saying that you owe me. I didn't ask for my life, I was willing to die." Xornon was frustrated for some odd reason. By all means he should have been estatic, but he was mad. Maybe it was because he had been ready to die, and now he would live.
Xornon liked to know what was going to happen, and liked everything to be planned if possible. This wasn't in his plan. Maybe he was upset because Yuri was angry with him. They could probably have been really good friends, but she wanted him dead, and he wasn't.
Xornon walked over to the fire and sat by it, thinking. His Emporess had granted him his life, and for that, he was very happy. He stared into the fire, the flames making his orange eyes look like they were alive. He then had an idea.
X pulled his throwing blade from his boot and put it into the hottest part of the fire. Xornon removed his jacket and shirt, and looked down at the gashes still bleeding on his chest. Yuri had gotten him good. She could use those claws as torture weapons.
Xornon pulled the now red hot blade from the fire and looked at it. If the wounds healed naturally, there wouldn't be any scars. Maybe if he burned them shut, it would scar over. It would be a permanent reminder of his past, and of the second chance he got.
X bared his fangs against the pain as he placed the knife against his skin. The smell of burning flesh filled his nose. The smell invigorated him, reminding him of the times he had used fire to kill others. He repeated the process on the four other cuts, and then began to put his shirt back on.
As he did so, Yuri came back from the depths of the cave and said something to Xzaar. She then walked back into the Emporess' chamber. X wouldn't bother saying anything to her just yet. He was already on her bad side, no need giving her a reason to kill him in his sleep.

animeboy08
Xzaar just stood there he knew that he at least owed them an explanation as to why and hpw it happened. He sighed as he stood up straight from leaning against the wall. He then walked back inside the tomb where he saw Khimaria straightening her hair and a still somewhat dissappointed Yuri. "Well what are you waiting for arent you going to give us the explaination you owe us" Yuri asked flat out. "Yuri" Khimaria scolded. "He will tell us when he is ready."Khimaria said as she went back to straightening her hair. "Well I dont know really how to sasy it"Xzaar said still somewhat reluctant to come clean. "Just spit it out already" Yuri said growing impatient. Was she still mad at the fact that she couldnt kill the vampire or the fact that Xzaar blooded him and allowed him to escape thier ranks?"I had only made him days roughly a week before the war and unlike us he lacked the proper training nesscesary" "What are you talking about a young vampire could easily kill hundreds of humans without even thinking twice"interupted Yuri. "Let him finish Yuri"Khimaria growled getting frustrated with the reluctance of the frizzy hair. "Anyway like many of the inexperienced vampires he was young afraid, that we may not have won. And can you blame him? He didnt fully understand his capabilities and what his true potiential was. And with Khimaria busy strategizing I'm sure she didnt even know of his existence. I decided to do him and some of the others a favor I decided to let them escape. I knew it was wrong Khimaria and I'm sorry but I only did it cause I felt it was the right thing to do. With them being as afraid as they were they would have been useless to us anyway. Besides what if we had lost with them being out there they could have saved our race kept it from dying out completely" "DYING you really thought we would have lost Xzaar that is the stupidest bullshi" "YURI enough"Khimaria said standing up. "It's ok Xzaar I understand where you are coming from and you're sympathetic feelingI don't blame you and I dont blame him either. Now lets put this issue behind us shall we"Khimaria asked as she walked away.Yuri took a second then walked up to Xzaar shaking her head she then leaned into him her lips almost touching his ear. "You may have fooled Khimaria but do you honestly think I believed a word of that story? You and I both know much better than that. Now I believe you are the one who made him into a vampire but you didnt instruct him to run away and I know that for a fact. You havent changed at all risking your neck to save his.But remember you cant fool me. I know you better than almost anyone else."She stood back straight and walked out. Xzaar smiled to himself because he knew she was right

XornonJay
((I only have one thing to ask. I want my char to be a pure vampire. If you could change it that would be really cool. Like, maybe i'm ur son, or grandson (seeing as X was young back then, and ur Xzaar is older) and you wanted me to live to carry on the family or something. Sorry, i'm just picky about my characters))

midnite127

XornonJay
Xornon stared at Yuri until she was out of sight in the darkness. Besides the fact that she hated him, and his instincts that told him to trust no one, Xornon was begining to like Yuri. She was so much like him, they probably could have been twins.
She would be the last person he would trust his life to under the circumstances, but the first he would want to fight along side. He put his jacket back on and then walked back to his Emporess' chamber. "My lady," he said, bowing his head. "I thank you for your pardon on my life, but now I wish to know of the plan you have. If there's anything I can do to help, seeing as i have lived with the humans for all these centuries, please let me know."

Xzaar was sitting down reading when he started to get an overwhelming urge and sensation to visit the place that Ken most often refered to as home."I have a favor to ask of you vampire"Ken said in a low voice."I already know what it is, you want me to visit your home dont you?" Xzaar asked not taking his eyes off the book."Yes please I would like to know how they are doing." Ken said in a pleading voice."Alright I'll go I want to see this family that you care for so much" Xzaar said standing up. Ken was going to thank him but quickly decided against it."Khimaria I'm going for a walk I'll be back later"Xzaar said walking up to the door. Xzaar didnt fear the sun as much as the other vampires because he had sort of built up a natural resistance to it being in it so much but as he opened the door a draft of cold air blew past him and he looked up at the heavy snow that was coming down."Lead the way" Xzaar said giving Ken temporary control over his movements.Ken began to walk fast almost using super speed but soon he slowed down as he walked up the steps to a nicely built brick house.Xzaar regained control as he walked right up to the door. Not really sure what to do Xzaar knocked on the door lightly and after a couple of seconds a short older woman answered. She had to be Ken's mother her eyes were just like his and they shared some of the same facial features."Ken baby you are ok"She said pulling him into a tight snug hug. She quickly pulled him inside.Inside there was an older man sitting on the couch smoking a cigar. He looked to be half asleep."You cold or hungry if your hungry I fixed a plate of meatloaf for you" Grabbing a plate of meatloaf mashed potatoes and green peas. "I'm not hungry" Xzaar said but he quickly sensed the woman's feelings of worry. "Well I guess I'll have a few bites"He said sitting down but as he sat down a young teenage girl no older than 15 walked into the kitchen. "Mom arent you going to say anythiong he's been out all night at least ask him where he's been"the girl said with attitude. "She must be the sister"Xzaar thought. "Ken is a young man now he'll be 18 in two weeks he's practically grown" the woman responded. Normally Ken wouldnt have have heard the conversation but thanks to his vampire hearing thier whispers sound like loud speakers. After taking a few bites Xzaar stood up. "May I be excused" He asked. "Sure" she said with a smile trying to hide her worry. Xzaar went upstairs into the bathroom where he looked into Ken's face. He ran his finger through the light scar that was on his face. It was a small cut wouldnt leave to big of a mark. He then started running his finger through Ken's flat hair as if feeling it for the first time. He looked down at Ken's dirty dress shirt and ripped navy blue uniform pants a change of outfit was definately needed. He also began to notice a change in Ken physically. Before he could think to deep about it his thoughts were interupted by a sudden knock on the door. Not knowing what to say or do Ken just stood there until the door eventually opened. And Ken's mother walked in."Now I didnt want to alert your father or your sister but it was Paul again wasnt it. he put that cut on your face didnt he?" she asked with much concern in her voice. Xzaar wanted to lie but he just couldnt bring himself to do it." Yes mother it was him but I promise he wont bother me or anyone else for that matter again" Xzaar said wiping away her tear. "Okay well you go get some rest" His mother said kissing him on the forehead. After she walked out Ken stood there for awhile he hadnt even known this family and yet he had grown to love them. He then walked out and into Ken's bedroom. As soon as he walked in Ken's memories flooded his mind. Xzaar liked how Ken was smart yet complicated at the same time. He stood there as Ken's feelings of sentimentality began growing on Xzaar and he started to feel somewhat...human. But the feeling soon disappeared as he felt a vampire nearby one as strong and as old as he was. He soon exposed his fangs as he ran to the window ready to attack whoever it could be.

XornonJay
Xornon nodded. "I'd be more then willing to help you in your quest," he said to Yuri, then looked at Khimaria. "With your permission of course."
The truth was, Xornon had hoped he would be put on some sort of assignment. It had been a long time since he had killed for sport, and he wanted to brush up on some of his techniques.

((this is random, but i just noticed that i have been the first post on all of the new pages. I feel kinda special Happy Dance clap

"of coarse feel free to go Xornon." Said Khimaria, and let him leave, she stooped yuri before she left.
"Keep an eye out on him, if he runs away from a fight or any combat situation, kill him in the most painful way you can manage, but i hope that wont be necessary... and make sure there are no sticky accidents" she said threateningly.

ooc: sorry it was so short, i couldn't think of much to do at the moment

Zernad
(hi guys I'm sorry I took so long just hope i was worth the wait!!!!!!)

Xzaar looked outside staring directly at the figure. Once he recognised who it was a smile slowly crept across his face as he realized they were of no threat to him. Before the figure could blink Xzaar was standing right infront of them. "I thought you had split, where on earth have you been." "I actually thought about doing that.Starting over fresh with a new life entirely. But a certain twist of fate stopped that from happening." "And what exactly might that have been Airy"Xzaar asked folding his arms."Well I personally was looking for a way out. I was floating along the highway when all of a sudden I look up and see this red compact vehicle make a sharp right to avoid crashing into this car that had just cut into the lane. But before any othter action could be made the car behind them went slamming into the back and the car spun out of control and went off the road crashing into a tree. After realizing what I just witnessed I floated to the car to see if the driver was alright. But she wasnt. She was coughing up alot of blood and her forehead was bleeding badly. There was definately no way she would have survived. And seeing as how I lacked a physical form there was no way I could have healed her from the outside. So I took on her body. After taking control of her body and using my powers I was able to heal her external wounds but I wasnt able to completely heal her internal wounds. And as of now her mind remains unconscious unable to respond to anything." Xzaar just stood there trying to take in eveything that Airy had just said.He stood there looking at the woman before him.She had long brown curly hair that stopped at her shoulder. She also had an oval face face that had glasses across them. She looked no older than 24 and no younger then 18."Well Airy I'm glad you are with us and I'm sure Khimaria will be pleased to see you as well." Xzaar said leaning against the tree with his arms folded."Speaking of Khimaria how is she?""Fine"Xzaar replied looking down."And what about Zechariahs""He's still missing."Xzaar said still looking down."What about Yuri""She hasnt changed a bit still hot tempered and eager to kill."Xzaar said repositioning himself against the tree."And I take it that you're here visiting your hosts family." "Yeah"Xzaar said looking up for a quick second."You are the one who hasnt changed a bit.Still sympathetic and sentimental as ever."Airy said pulling her whool coat tighter around herself."Come on let's get you out of the cold" "Are you sure that they'll let me inside."Airy asked."Lets go directly up to my room" And before Airy could let out a word of protest she was inside of Xzaar's room."Wow it's been along time since I've been alone with a boy."Airy said looking through one of Ken's magazines."I guess we should be getting back to the cave."Xzaar said taking his shirt off.Airy quickly found herself blushing as she quickly turned away. But she soon turned back around to get yet another peak."Um Xzaar aren't you going to go in the other room and change." "Sorry I kinda forgot"Xzaar said blushing alittle in the cheeks. He quickly changed and was ready to go."Iguess we should be leaving now."Xzaar said grabbing one of Ken's small backpacks. They left the house and were walking together when suddenly this feeling as if she had something important to do came over her something telling her she had to report to college."Xzaar you've been in this world longer than I have and you are in contact with your host so tell me what is college?"

OOC: Okay, I havent read all the other posts yet, but I will start my character away from every one elses and slowly build his current story so as to read the other posts before I get too involved with the rest of you. If you are christian by the way, you'll probably hate the start of this post, but hey, if you dont like it, youre free to direct me to the highest cliff and inform me to jump. Any lyrics I use are no way intended to offend, though they may, and I have no intention of ripping off any real songs...lol...I cant write lyrics for crap anyway, so they will be limited.

"FEED HIM! Crucifix through the Heart, beating kebab in it's Holy crimson sauce, FEEEEEEEEEED...
Christians to the Fire!
Darkness arise!
Christians to the Fire!
Eat them Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiive!"

Orion's fingers played across the strings of his Bass to Vorgal's growled lyrics with the furocity of a madman, yet with pure expertise formed by over twelve years experience playing the instrument in Balck Metal bands. They were into their thrid song, and twenty odd minutes of furious, headbanging baas playing had long since cause his make up and eye shadow to run with the litres of sweat that oozed from every pore. But he cared little, for he knew it would only add to the ghoulish, demonic effect he liked to portray.

Vorgal finished off the lyrics to one of thier fans most loved songs, Christians to the Fire, with one last hellacious growl and Orion finished with and furiously paced and mind numbing riff, Dante's thundering drumming rounding out the song, seemingly almost shaking the Underground club to the ground in the process.

Taking a deep breath of much needed, albeit smoke filled air, Orion accepted the bottle of water thrown his way by a stage technician and slammed the five hundred mill's down in about three seconds flat. His ice blue eyes scanned the joint, taking in proudly, the fact that the place was so packed he was surprised they hadn't been shut down because it had become a serious fire hazard. He shook his head, scoffing inwardly, this was the underground scene, these headbangers would keep on headbanging if the very walls were burning down around them.

Orion's brow furrowed as a stirring began in the back of his mind, and he relaxed, letting the prescence come forth.

I must thank you for your knowledge, my friend Orion bethought the prescence.

I am not your f*****g friend you body snatching mother...

Curb your mouth, human, and be satisfied that I have let you co-exist with me

Let me, the presence scoffed. Without me, you wouldn't be playing in the greatest Black Metal band of this age. Speaking of which, b*stard, you are on.

Orion started, quickly pushing the presence into the back of his mind and preparing his fingers for a night of seriously furious riffs. It was time to rock the house once again.

((hmm, didn't come out that easily or brilliantly, but It'll have to do, sorry, bloody tired))

XornonJay
(Later that night, for the duo anyway)
Xornon stood against the back wall of the concert hall. The band up front was sending everyone into a riotous frenzy. Xornon hadn't gotten the bands name, but he heard someone say the song they had just finished was something like "Burning Christians" or "Christians in the Fire", or something of the sort. They were good, not Xornon's favorite type, but they knew how to play.
He had ot hand it to Yuri, this would be the best time to kill the lawyer. In a place like this, anything could happen, even a death. The underground club was definatly beyond illegal. Xornon wouldn't have been surprised if the walls didn't fall with the thumping of the bass.
Which lead X to another thought. The bass player had an unusual aroma about him. With all the other smells in the building though, he couldn't make it out. Now all the two vampires had to do now was wait for the lawyer to show up. It baffled Xornon that a woman of her proffesion would show up here, but this was where the tickets lead them, so this is where she would die.

((hope you don't mind midnite or Decom. Brings our characters together with decoms, or at least close to his, and also gets us clubing. Hope I didn't ruin anything))

Xzaar could hear Ken laughing in amusement at Airy's last statement."What is college.Ha thats rich"Ken said holding his sides as he continued to laugh at even harder."Well I don't mean to interupt anything but I qould like to know what exactly is college?"Xzaar asked somewhat puzzled. "College is an institution of learning.Where people go to further thier studies in a specific field of expertise." Ken said sounding more serious. "So if I wish to learn or get an "education" I have to go to a college."Xzaar said still sounding somewhat confused. "Yeah but you cant just go walking in there expecting to just start learning. first you have to apply and once you have been exepted you have to either pay money for the intuition or you have to get a scholarship." Ken said sitting down and pulling a book off the shelf in the library with his mind. "Thank you you have been a great help as always"Xzaar said returning back to reality. "So what is college" Airy asked once again. "Its an institutoin of learning that you must apply to and pay some sort of money to go to." Xzaar said slowly so that he wouldnt have to repeat it. "So some sort of feeling in this body is giving me this feeling to go a place where I have to pay to learn? Only humans would do something that stupid as to pay to learn something that they should already have known." Airy said stuffing her hands into her coat pockets. Xzaar suddenly noticed that the conversation he was having with Airy had greatly distracted him as they had passed thier turn son time ago.As Xzaar turned to tell Airy of the news he found her sniffing the airas if she smelt something." Do you smell it?" airy asked getting somewhat excited. "Smell it?" Xzaar asked as he began to sniff the air. He smelt something sweet as if it had just been baked and taken out of the oven. "What is that?" Airy asked amazed and Xzaar followed her finger and turned around to see a giant a wheel spinning around with people actually on it. He also saw plenty of bright lights. "I want to go there" Airy said not taking her eyes off of the lights. "What about the cave? I think we should be getting back to at least report to Khimaria" Xzaar said somewhat reluctant to go with her. "Come on we won't be very long I just want to see it up close"Airy said tugging at Xzaar's arm. "Alright but we'll only stay for a little while." Xzaar said as he and Airy began to head towards the bright lights. As they approached the flashing bright lights there was a bright banner Airy then stopped to read it. "Car-ni-v-al" Airy read the flashing banner slowly. Airy turned around to face Xzaar and he just knew what she was going to ask him. "Xzaar tell me what is a carnival" Airy asked. Xzaar thought about asking Ken but seeing as how he has bothered him enough lately he just left the matter. "I have no idea I guess we'll find out together" Xzaar said shrugging his shoulders.

ooc: Are we trying to make all of us meet up or just the three of you guys?

"Tell me! Are there any christians here tonight?!" Even though it came as no surprise to Orion, the raction to Vorgal's simple question still managed to stun him. The club, which only moment before was so racause in appreciation for the song they had just completed, fell so completely silent that Orion could swear he heard the splashes as beads of sweat dripped from his face onto the stage.

Vorgal cuckled evilly. "Just as I thought!" He growled. "Now Tell me! Are you ready to kick some f*****g ass?!" The silence was shattered by a resounding and thunderous chorus of YES! Cupping a hand around his ear, Vorgal leant towards the front of the stage. "I said, are you ready to kick some f*****g ass!"

As the crowed roared again, Vorgal nooded his head vigorously, eyes going wide in a maniacle fashion as he clenched his teeth in a mean grimance. "Then bang your f*****g head with the horsemen..." the crowd screamed in anticipation of the inevitable announcement as to what they were about to play.

"Apocalypse Thundeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!"

As Dante began his rythmic thumping to immitate the thunder of hoof beats, Orion bethought the prescence at the back of his mind. This is the last?

Song? Yes. Why? Weak as piss are we?

Orion scowled at the question, the crowed reacting to his facial expression by screaming louder, those at the front reaching a hand towards him, as if touching him was worth something precious to them.

I am not used to such strenuous activity he replied quickly, before pushing the presence away and beginning to move his fingers in a blur of motion across the strings of his bass. As he reached the hight of his first riff, he almost faltered as he picked up a familiar and unwanted sense in the room, something he hadn't felt since before his great slumber. With ultimate concentration he managed not to falter and ruin their so far flawless live show and sent part of his conscious scouring the room.

Finding nothing, he grimaced harder than he usually did whilst playing. He knew what that sesne was. Almost a scent on the nose, almost a taste on the tongue...almost, but not quite either. There were Vampires in the building, he could tell. So could the presence in his head apparently, for it writhed and squirmed and resisted his control, something it had not done since he successfully calmed it.

Orion forced himelf to concentrate on the music, not the presences he felt, only to find that they had finished the song without him even realising it. The crowd was going more wild than ever, if such a thing was possible, and Vorgal was thanking them for being dark souled, headbanging mother f***ers.

The massive six foot, nine inch tall Dante had walked up behind him and now lent down, resting his head on Orion's shoulder, a nasty grimace on his face, playing up the crowd

"Overwhelming, eh? We are the lords of underground music and one step away from immortality." The big drummer smiled into Orion's ear. "You f*****g lost it there. You have to tell me how you did that, your mind was so far gone it wasn't funny. I could see it in your eyes when you turned around and screamed at me like a madman..."

Orion didn't remember doing any such thing.

"...and you played beter than any f*****g demon from hell could have hoped to play." Dante chuckled as he pushed away, "I sometimes wonder if you are human at all."

As his bandmate walked to the front of the stage, Orion reflected on those words. He suddenly hoped Dante would stop wondering. He didn't want an excuse to kill one of the two men he had silently vowed would never feel his bite.

Orion swallowed hard, pushing the thoughts away and, at the urging of the presence within his mind, stepped forth to bask in his glory.

Concert now at its end, the crowd exploded, loud screams echoing in Yuri's ears. She gave a half grin, possibly the only person casually against the wall. Smiling snidely, she watched as each member received their praise, her eyes focused on the one member who had seemed to lose themselves. Just something about the ghoulish player...something a bit off. What, she couldn't place her finger on, couldn't grab a scent. I do not understand...

Now frowning, Yuri slid from the wall, dodging the barely dispersing crowd and just managing to find her way back to Xornon, occasionally grinding a heel or two into any foot in her way. Shaking his shoulder to grab his attention, music now blaring from speakers set up in key areas of the club, Yuri shouted to be heard. "Xornon, I will be away momentarily. Now is as good a time as ever to..." she stopped herself when seeing Xornon looking past her, orange eyes glued to the stage. "What is it?"

"It's strange," shouted back Xornon, eyes never moving. "I detect something strange from the bass player. What, I'm not certain. You?" He asked her for an opinion.

She brooded for a second. Rolling her eyes, she leaned her shoulder to the wall. "Do you, by chance, remember our first encounter? I could not even tell if you were vampiric until I took in your scent. I can detect my kin no problem but because I am still in this human vessel my senses have yet to come back to me and until..." She turned her gaze upwards in thought. "Give or take until another hour or so, I have about as much vampire senses as an enhanced human. I can still do my job quite well but..." She arched her brow. "How about this? We can check out the...bass player? We shall investigate him after I complete my task. I could always do with a little dessert..." She gave a small cackle.

Xornon made a skeptical expression. "And what if he isn't human? Maybe even vampire..."

Her laughter ceased, both brows furrowing. Yuri shrugged. "I could always screw around. Killing is not the only thing I am good at."

"What?!"

Yuri smirked down to the ground. "I was attempting a joke but obviously I should just stick to my job. If he is a...vampire -like you- then I guess he will receive the same punishment. A few good scratches or two...or three..." She smiled devilishly, licking a fang as she noticed Sarah parting from her brunette friend and sprinting past several to a door at the far end of the club.

Yuri cracked her knuckles. "If you will excuse me, I have business to conduct..." Smiling, she started to dodge her way through the crowd, following after her soon to be victim...

XornonJay
While Yuri walked away, Xornon stared at the bass player. He was definately vampire. Now that the crowd was gone, the scent of his kind was strong. He walked to the front of the room and stopped at the foot of some stairs leading onto the stage.
"Excuse me, bass player." The man didn't react. Xornon called two more times before he resulted to walking up on stage. He was instantly called out by a rather large bouncer.
"Excuse me sir, but you can't be on stage," the man said, obviously tired, and not in a good mood. His respect was obviously forced.
"I just need to have a word with the bass player."
"Orion, or anyone else from the band for that matter, won't be signing autograph tonight. So please step off the stage." The large man was getting more and more frustrated by the second. Xornon could care less, he just continued walking towards who the bouncer had called Orion.
With a rough shove, the bouncer caught Xornon off balance and sent him sprawling off the stage. "I said leave."
Xornon cocked an eyebrow and smiled broadly. Walking back up the stairs, Xornon stood toe to toe with the bouncer. "And I said I need to talk to Orion." As the large man lifted his hand to shove Xornon again, X quickly grabbed the man by his wrist and twisted his arm behind his back roughly, and then pulled, ripping the tendons in his shoulder. The bouncer let out a bellow of pain and ran off the stage, holding his now limp arm.
Xornon turned to see the band staring at him. With a shrug, X walked over to the bass player. Putting his face close to Orion ear, X spoke quietly. "I know what you are, Orion, and you know what I am. I would like a word with you in private in the bar section as soon as you done here."
With that, Xornon walked over to the bar and ordered a whiskey. He had grown fond of the drink through the years, and had realized that it did not have the same drunken affect on him, as it did humans. Xornon now turned his attention to Yuri as she walked towards Sarah. She truely was good at her job. Sarah would never know what hit her. But then again, maybe she would. Yuri would probably enjoy letting Sarah know who it was that was killing her. Xornon shook his head and smiled. He only hoped that one day they would get along. They were two of the same mold, and would kick some serious human ass if they worked together.

Airy looked over at Xzaar as they walked up to a booth. Starting to walk past they were stopped by a security guard."Excuse me sir and ma'am but you do have to pay before you can come inside." "Oh I'm sorry"Airy said not having any idea what he meant by "pay". "Let me see your purse." Xzaar asked with his hand held out. "My what?" Airy asked looking at Xzaar confused. "The thing on your shoulder" Xzaar said pointing at her shoulder. And without hesitation Airy snatched the purse off her shoulder and handed it to Xzaar. He then took out some money and handed it to the lady at the ticket booth and pulled Airy inside with him. Inside Airy looked around amazed at the rides and all of the activities that she could do. "This looks so fun"Airy said looking around as if she were a little kid going to a carnival for the first time."Calm down Airy we wont be here for long"Xzaar said not to impressed with what he saw."Being a human is going to be more fun than I actually thought." Airy said walking up to the huge spinning wheel that she'd been eyeing the whole time."I would like to ride this ride"Airy said standing infront of the entrance to get on the ride."Do you even know how to get on."Xzaar questioned walking up to the ride."Come on get on"Airy said pulling Xzaar onto the wheel with her.AFter sitting down for a couple of seconds the wheel started to turn slowly as they went up into the air."The air is so fresh and crisp up her"Airy said inhaling deeply."Thank god its over"Xzaar said jumping out brfore it could come to a complete stop."Look Airy I know that you are enjoying this but we have to go.It grows later and Khimaria is definately expecting me back from the walk I was supposed to have taken hours ago."Xzaar said walking towards the exit."OK you win I'll come you but you will take me back here"Airy said as she continued to walk but she stopped as she saw a little girl on the ground crying."What wrong"Airy asked kneeling beside her."I dropped my cotton candy and when I stopped to get it I slipped and fell landing on my elbow"the little blonde girl said choking in between sobs."Lets me see"Airy asked gently taking the elbow. She then put her hand over it and started to heel it with a yellow-golden glowing light. Soon the sure disappered and the girl smiled a toothless smile."Thank you miss"the girl said running off.Airy just smiled to herself then stopped when she saw Xzaar standing over her."And you say that I'm sympathetic"Xzaar said shaking his head.

Orion didn't fail to notice the strange glance thrown his way by Dante, but the drummer wisely kept his mouth shut and refriamed from drilling him with the obvious question. Vorgal had his We'll talk about this later look on his face as they left the stage and headed into the dressing room.

Orion was surprised to see their room occupied as they entered, then remembered that Vorgal was to be interviewed by a reporter from the metal magazine known as The Anvil.

Orion left his singer to it and strode over to a mirror, beginning to wipe off his demonic looking make up. Once done, he spent a good three minutes trying to pry his leather vest from sweaty skin that just refused to release its hold. Eventually, he managed the task, and replced it with a poly-cotton sleeveless shirt featuring the same design on the front. He then painted his make up on again.

"You are fast making your name as the greatest Death Metal band on the planet," the journalist was saying as Orion turned around, and the bassist fixed the man with his stunning blue ice glare.

"Black Metal," he corrected coldy.

"My dark brother here hates that term, 'Death Metal'," Dante explained. "You'd do well not to call us that again, because he beat the holy hell out of the last person who referred to us as a Death Metal band."

The reporter swallowed hard as Orion fired a question at him. "What is your name?"

"James..." he swallowed again, trying to work some saliva into his mouth. "James Brannon."

Orion nodded. "I'll remember it."

The reporter paled and quickly turned his attention back to Vorgal. "Ah, you, ah, there are many people trying to shut you guys down, trying to keep your albums, which are usually extremely dark and very much negeative towards christianity, out of record stores. What do you think of this?"

"We think nothing of it," Vorgal replied instantly. "We have had dinner with the Priminister of England, he listens to our music, believe it or not, to work out agression built up from the stress of his job." Vorgal smiled. "He assured us our records will stay on the shelves."

James' brows shot up. "The Prime Minister?"

Orion snapped his fingers next to the mans ears. "Did you here that? Ears working okay? Yes, Prime Minister, that's what he said."

James swallowed hard again, lowering his head to some scribbled notes on his pad. "Two years ago, an avid fan of your group massacred forty people in a church serivce in Manchester, burn the church to the ground, and then proceeded to stab himself twenty eight times in the chest and neck in front of approaching police officers, dying in a massive pool of blood and sparking the first protests about your band. Do you believe you really were the influence behind the massacre, given that the event in your song 'Slay them now' is almost exactly the same as what occured that day?"

Vorgal smiled evilly, eyes going dark. "If it did, then I'd have to say I'm very proud of our achievement." He chuckled quietly at the sight of James paling completely. "Let the bloody slaughtering begin."

James couldn't have continued the interview even if he had wanted to, he could barely even hold onto his pad. Excusing himself as quickly as was polite, the journalist hurried from the dressing room. Orion's icy gaze followed his progress until he was out of the door.

James lent up against the wall of the club in the practically deserted carpark and fumbled a cigarette into his mouth, lighting it and taking a long drag. After he had calmed himself somewhat, he made his way over to his car, reaching for the lock with keys in a still shaking hand.

"Sh*t yeah!" the shout made him jump and drop his keys, his head snapping in the direction of the noise. Four drunken revellers stumbled aroun a corner and began to cross the road by the car park.

"F**k," Jason cursed under his breath, placing a hand over his rapidly beating heart. "F*****g satan worshipping bastards." He bent down to pick up his keys and yelped as he caughed sight of a reflection in his car widow when he straightened. The keys fell straight back to the ground as James spun around, pressing back against the car.

"Christ! You scared the sh*t out of me."

The imposing face of Orion was facing him, but the bassist seemed to be staring inwardly at something. Then, all of a sudden, the man's eyes cleared, and his hand gently cupped Jason's jaw.

His first reaction was to pull away from the grip, but for some reason he couldn't. He had the uncomfortable feeling of not knowing whether the man intended to snap his neck or kiss him. His head was effortelessly turned to the side and Orion lent in, nibbling at his neck.

Jason's eyes widened. Was this happening? A man was...Jason shuddered and was about to push away when Orion growled quietly and Jason felt his skin being pierced. His mouth opened to let forth a scream, but all that managed to escape was a wimper. His knees buckled and he grabbed onto Orion's long hair for support as he felt the bassist begin to suck the blood from his neck. His mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water and slowly his vision blurred. Moments later, his vision vanished completely and he spiralled into nothingness

Orion let Jason's body slide down the car to the ground, tilting his head back and letting the last of the warm, coppery liquid slide slowly down his throat. He lent up against the car, placing a cigarette between his bloody lips and lighting it, taking a long, deep drag, exhaling the smoke slowly out of his nose.

The ecstasy of the kill coursed through his body, bringing the presence in the back of his mind to the fore.

You don't feed to live, you live to feed. And I have to say, it feels great

Orion arched a brow, taking another drag on his cigarette. You were not repulsed?"

The presence scoffed. You forget just whose body you have taken over. And when you share your emotions, it is kind of hard not to enjoy it. In fact, from what I felt, it is almost equal to sex.

Ha! Maybe equal to human sex, Orion dropped the cigarette to the ground and crushed it under the metallic heel of his boot. But vampire sex is out of this world.

With that, he pushed the presence to the back of his mind, glancing down at Jason's body. "Thanks for the feed." He smiled, stepping over the dead mans legs and heading back into the club to meet with the Vampire who had the nerve to confront him infront of his band mates.

"Before we leave I have something to ask of you"Airy said standing back up straight."What is it."Xzaar asked starting back towards the exit."I wish to taste this cotton candy."Airy said looking over at the cotton candy sign."Hurry up Airy"Xzaar said waiting by the exit.Airy then turned and began to walk towards the stand.Once she was in line she got up to the stand and asked for the cotton candy the lady held the candy in her hand but refused to give it to Airy."Oh I'm sorry this is the part where I pay"Airy said digging into her purse giving her more money than she had actually needed to pay.As Airy was walking away she was too busy ripping and stuffing cotton candy into her mouth that she didnt notice how close she was walking t oa nearby dark alleyway.Sudenly she was snatched into the alleyway."What's your problem"Airy asked pulling back her arm."Sorry bbut today aint your lucky day"A man dressed like a rough biker punk said.Soon four more guys surrounded Airy blocking her from any possible escape. Airy then began to back up nervously she then felt the man grab she knew she could have easily broken his wrist but she refrained herself from doing it.He then slammed her face first into the brick wall then yanked her by her hair and threw her into a parked motorcycle knocking her out.The man then loaded Airy onto the motocycle and they sped off.

Spirit echoed the voice within his head.

Orion snapped his hand up, bidding the male Vampire to wait before coming to his point of the meeting. He focused inwardly. Spirit?

The female, she mentioned you were a spirit.

Yes, what of it?

I have been scouring your mind...your memories. I have a theory.

Orion frowned, pacing around the couch, ignoring the other two completely, despite their angry glances at him doing so. My memory...you scoured it without my knowledge? Orion chuckled. I underestimated your will, human...interesting. And this theory of yours?

It is the belief of many humans that a spirit, the entity one becomes after death, can inhabit the body of one who is living. I have found information in your memory that suggests Vampires have done this before, many hundreds, some even thousands of years ago. Now, I know that you went into your slumber as a living Vampire, but time, my friend, killed you as easily as anyone. You awoke something less than what you were. Not quite dead, but not alive either, like you were balancing on a rope between the two worlds. Then you found me, took me...became me. A spirit within me, yet retaining the characteristics of a living Vampire. And now, you have kept me alive and unconciously created a whole new being...an entity the likes of which no one throughout time has seen before. Part spirit...part vampire...part human.

Orion reflected on the presence's words. Yes...yes, your words make sense. I have the characteristics of a Vampire, hence why I can play the bass like a demon, no humans finger could move so fast. And thanks to your existance within me, this body retains its human characteristics as well, the ability to walk in direct sunlight unharmed, complete knowledge of all the technology in your world. He rubbed his chin in thought. The question is, what characteristics of a spirit do I possess?

Only time can answer that question

And you worked all this out in such a short time, human?

The presence chuckled What can I say? Other than, I'm f***ing good The presence had barely completed its boast before it retreated hastily to the back of his mind, Orion coming back to reality to feel sharp nails digging into his throat.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you it is impolite to ignore your guests?"

Orion grasped the females wrist, forcing her hand away from his neck with little effort. The thought of being a completly new and unknown entity had given him the courage to act as if she couldn't harm him in anyway. He squeezed her wrist hard and twisted it behind her back, swinging her into his chest and placing his chin on her shoulder.

"Haven't you ever been taught," he said into her ear, "that it is impolite to lay your hands on people without consent." He spun her away, crushing his cigarette out in his bare hand as he turned his attention back to the male.

"My apologies for the interruption. Now, you were about to inform me why you are wasting my time?"

XornonJay
"Before I tell you anything, i would like you to know if you ever threaten me again, not only will you regret the day you spoke the words, but you will never speak again." Xornon glowered at the man before going on with his questioning.
"I don't mean to pull you from your bands mates, or anything else. I merely want to know where you came from. I myself, was a deserter." He turned to look at Yuri who still shuddered at the word. "Yuri here is spirit. You must be one of the two. We would like to know which. So, now its up to you on how fast we leave you alone."

"Respect is not just given," Orion said to the closed door after...Yuri, the male named Xornon had called her, had left. "Respect is earned." He turned to Xornon, who was looking at him strangely, and smiled a little. "Bad habit, talking to myself."

Flopping down on the couch, he debated whether or not he should light another cigarette, eventually deciding against it. "I apologise," he rubbed the back of his neck. "I just get touchy when certain things happen around my band mates." Orion stretched out, resting his hands on the back of his head. "So, you want to know who and what I am, do you? Very well, I will do this, on the proviso that you give me as much in return. Do we have an accord?"

Xornon seemed to think on it, but his nod was firm.

"Very well then. My name is Orion Tyboltaliner Vagar, son of Tyboltaliner Mythalen Vagar and Massiah Yill Tarrah, brother of Zen Tyboltaliner Vagar, all died in the Great Battle centuries ago." Orion smiled. "But of course, you wouldn't remember much of that battle, now would you? Considering you ran from it like a coward."

Xornon's expression registered shock before the anger took over.

"Don't act so surprised," Orion said as he rose from the chair to confront him. "As soon as you introduced yourself as a deserter I knew who you were. Only two Vampires ran from that battle field. One because he was dying from a stake in his chest, the other because he was a yellow bellied, spineless coward. Given that I was the man with a stake lodged in his chest, that makes you," Orion poked his finger into Xornon's chest, "the yellow bellied, spineless coward. A man who issues hollow threats in the domain of another. A man who demands to know information he has not deserved. A man who has the gall to call himself a Vampire."

Orion brought his face close to Xornon's "When I sat down on the couch not more than a minute ago, I was prepared to be polite and answer your questions. But then a little voice in my head pointed out that it was my life being intruded upon, that it was me being treated with a complete lack of repect. Both of you, two perfect strangers, waltz into my domain, demand answers out of me...and then, to top it off, that b*tch has the gall to attack me and them demand that I repsect her!"

His hand snapped out, clenching tightly around Xornon's throat. "I should kill both of you for your insolence. In fact, I want you to give me one good reason why I shouldn't?"

"Because then you would have to explain to Vorgal why we have a dead man in our V.I.P room."

Both Orion's and Xornon's heads snapped around to see Dante towering in the doorway. The drummer looked from one man to the other, taking in the scene, taking in the canines that had extended at the front of Orion's mouth in his anger. "Just what the hell is going on here?"

XornonJay
Xornon quickly and stealthfully put the blade that was currently pressed lightly against Orion's nether regions into his coat sleeve. He would have made a smart remark about the move, but the towering human in the door changed his mind.
For half a second, Xornon thought about lunging at the man, sucking him dry, then killing Orion in a slow and painful way, probably by cutting his face off, then shoving it in his mouth, making him choke, but then logic kicked in. First, this was Orion's band mate, he would have to do the explaining, not Xornon. And second, Yuri would be pissed if Xornon killed the bastard without her.
"I'm not sure what that was just now," said Xornon, glacing at the very bewildered Orion. "But whatever it was, I'm sure its none of your buisness."
Orion may have thought him a coward now, but that would change in time. He would either see Xornon's change of attitude in battle, or beg for mercy from it as he died.

Orion's mouth snapped shut, hiding his teeth as he shoved Xornon away roughly, motioning frantically for Dante to get in the room and close the door. The drummer didn't hesitate, stepping in quickly and closing the door quietly, turning with a half grin on his face, waving his finger at Orion.

"I knew it. I f***ing knew there was something not quite right about you." He glanced at Xornon, his half smile slowly disappearing at the look on the mans face. Dante had seen a similar look before on Vorgal's face, a 'Should I or should I not kill you?' look. He swallowed hard.

"Sit down," Orion motioned towards the couch, rubbing his temples. "Why oh why did you have to walk in now, of all times, you big bastard?" Xornon had circled the room and now stood behind the couch, directly behind Dante, hands on the back of the hideous piece of furnature. Orion shot him a warning look.

"I ran into a woman out there, who said she 'had a word' with you. You know you aren't supposed to bring just anyone back here, so I came to have a go at you for it. And what do I find? You seemingly about to strangle a man to death and...well...I knew you were something more than human. Those fangs just proved my suspitions."

Orion rubbed at his face. "Well, you have put me in a hell of a position. I swore to myself I would not feed on you or Vorgal. Yet, right now, I find it hard not to break that vow."

"You must die," Xornon said as he lowered his head to Dante's ear. "For to let you live would jeopardise our existance once again. Such a thing has happened in the past. I will not let it happen again." He raised his head to pierce Orion's eyes with a deadly gaze. "He must die now."

Orion glanced from Xornon, to Dante and back again, before finally settling his gaze on the now very worried looking drummer. "Bro, I won't squeal, you know I wont. I don't exactly walk on the light side either you know?" His eyes begged Orion to listen. "F**k man, I walk by night and sleep by day, I worship the devil and dream of burning christians alive. Like you and Vorgal, I am one twisted mother f***er."

He could be of use to you alive. And I will not let you kill him.

I don't want to kill him either he informed the voice in his head. But I may not have a choice.

He will serve unquestioningly, you know this. He has always been closer to you than either of you will be to Vorgal. He thinks of you as the brother he never had. With his help, you could be the dictator of this band.

Explain yourself

Order him...order him to kill Vorgal to save his life. Should he succeed, spare him. You can then find a new singer and the juggernaut will belong to you. Should he fail, then, you kill him.

Orion reflected on the presence's words. Kill Vorgal? But he...

Is a bigger threat to our existance, should he discover the truth, than Dante will ever be. He doesn't love you like a brother as Dante does. The only reason Vorgal has kept you in the band is because of your ability to play the bass inhumanly. Before you took my body over, I heard whispers that he was intending to dump me from the band. Kill him, not Dante

Orion nodded, pushing the presence away and looking Dante dead in the eyes. "I will let you live...on the proviso that you kill Vorgal." Dante's eyes widened. "Killing him, Dante, is the only option left open to you now."

The big drummer swallowed hard. "K-kill Vorgal?...Why?"

"As proof to your alliegence to Orion...to us Vampires," Xornon's voice rumbled from behind him.

"Exactly," Orion nodded. "That, and the fact that something has convinced me I want control of the band...and it is the only way you shall keep your life. Should you refuse or fail, I will have to let Xornon or Yuri kill you. I cannot do it myself. I love you too much to break my vow not to kill you."

Xornon's hand clenched tightly on Dante's shoulder, he was unhappy with the turn of events, but could see that Orion wasn't going to let him kill Dante without a fight. "You have no time to think on your answer. Leave this room and come back with Vorgal's blood on your hands, or I shall take pleasure in sucking you dry."

Xornon sat oposite of Orion and smiled a toothy, crooked smile. "So, do you think the giant will do as you told him? He seems capable enough, he's just..." Xornon paused and stared at the ceiling to search for the right word. "Human," he finished with a smirk. "He may be one dark son of a b!tch, but he is human none the less. Emotions try to sneak up on the species without warning. Can he kill his band mate?" Xornon looked at Orion again with the same crooked smile as before. "Could you?" Orion's eyes narrowed as X spoke.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Oh, nothing," said Xornon innocently. "It's just, with all the hell you raised about me being a coward, I find it interesting that you are to much of a pansy to kill a single human."

The anger that Xoron saw burning in Orions eyes made him smile all the more bigger. It seemed to Xornon, that Orion was so use to being human, that his vampire qualities had all but laid dormant. His unnatural darkness was one quality that stood out, but even that was only an advanced trait that his whole group shared. No doubt the arrival of Yuri and Xornon had frustrated him. He now had a purpose again. His life was being flipped upside down.

((lol...'twas me who came up with the idea in the first place, so feel free to kill him off Midnite...I have no plans for him.))

Pansy The word spiralled through his mind like a vortex, stirring up his anger and threatening to make him snap. "What the hell would you know?!" he snapped angrilly. "You have no idea what it is like to feel, to experience human emotions."

Xornon crossed his arms over his chest. "And I have no intention of doing so. To feel is to have weakness."

Orion ground his teeth together in frustration, flopping down onto the couch emotionally unsound and his head throbbing from the sudden onset of a headache. He placed a cigarette between his lips and lit it, taking a long, deep drag. "Just what is your business here? I mean, of all the places in this city, your business, whatever that may be, just happened to lead you here, of all places? A place that isn't even supposed to exist? Surely that can't have happened purely by chance?"

"I had finally found a life that suited me, somewhere that I could fit in. I had finally found I way to enjoy the rest of my life...and then you two waltz in here and shatter it in one single night." Orion stood and moved directly in front of Xornon, blowing a cloud of smoke directly into the Vampires face. "Mark my words, Xornon. Before my time is done on this earth, both you and Yuri will die painfully by my hands."

XornonJay
Xornon chuckled, and then, without warning, erupted into laugher. "You, a vampire in human skin, kill me, one of the best killers this world has ever seen, save Yuri and a few others?" Xornon stood, glareing at Orion, his orange eyes boring into the others. "As I told you before, I do not stand for threats. You will curb your tongue, or I will cut it out."

Xornon sat back down, ignoring the man that continued to tower over him. "As for your former statement of me being a coward, you are correct. In my young days, I was a gutless swine." Xornon glaced back up at Orion. "But don't you dare assume the trait has stayed with me. Don't think I haven't paid for my shame." Xornon pulled his shirt up, showing Orion the jagged scars he had just recently recieved from Yuri. "These are from Yuri, just a taste of what she really wanted to do. The only thing I haven't done to regain my honor is fight along side my brothers once again, and that is something I plan to do."

"As for why we are here. Yuri had some sort of personal vendetta to settle, and it turns out that her target is...or, was, a partier. We didn't mean to stumble onto your life. But seeing as I found it, I wanted to know why you were still around."

((lol...right, no problem X man))

"Curb my tongue!" Orion bellowed, kicking the small wooden table next to the couch clean across the room, where is shattered against the wall. He lashed out at Xornon, the Vampire taken off guard by his sudden out burst, but still managing to flip over the back of the couch before Orion's boot hit, colapsing the couch in half with the force of it.

"Vampire in human skin," Orion mimicked. "Seems I can handle myself pretty f***ing well in my human skin, thank you very much!" He spear tackled Xornon into the wall, their impact sending fragments of plaster and splinters of wood flying. "You pissy coward in your night walking body. Do you think I couldn't kill you? When the sun rises, I could fry your weak ass Vampire heart in a split second."

He slammed Xornon to the floor, pressing his forearm into the Vampire's throat, bringing his eyes within an inch of the others angry gaze. "You had no f***ing right to intrude upon that stage...into my life, just to satisfy your damn curiosity! I will send you to f***ing hell for it!"

Xornon's boot slammed into his groin, pushing upwards and sending him flipping over the Vampires head and into the wreckage of the couch. He scrambled free, remaining on all fours, fangs bared witha loud hiss escaping his throat. He launched himself at Xornon again, this time their impact sending them clean through the wall in a hail of plaster and splinters of wood. They tussled through the hall and tumbled out into the bar area, sending drunken clubbers scrambling out of their path.

With a massive heave, Xornon launched Orion across the room, over the bar, where he crashed into the mirrored wall with its glass shelves holding many glass bottles of alcoholic liquids. Orion lunged back over the bar, unfazed, to collide mid air with Xornon, who had the same idea. They crashed down onto the slate floor, cracking it, and rolled across it, each trying to land a decisive blow.

Orion elbowed him and the jaw, and attempted to bite Xornon's now exposed neck, but the Vampire landed a vicious blow to the side of Orion's head, and the bassist was forced to roll away. Orion rose to his feet, fangs bared fully in anger as Xornon rose several feet away.

Facing off, Orion cracked his neck, before coiling back on his legs like a cat and lunging again.

Breathing heavily, Orion wiped Yuri's blood from his mouth, eyeing Xornon angrilly. "Will you run run from this fight too, coward?"

Xornon sneered. "Yuri..."

"To hell with Yuri!" Orion snapped. "Firstly, who the hell does she think she is to order me, and you, for that matter, about! I don't care who or what she was in the past, but in the presence, she means nothing to me. Secondly, I am no longer one of her bloody race, at least not completely. Whether you and her like it or not, I am, in part, human, and both of you are going to have to deal with it."

"And do you know why?" Orion asked. "I'll tell you. Because I have decided to stick with you guys. Becasue if I cannot kill you, what better revenge than to make both your lives a living hell." Orion stopped, tilting his head in thought as he noticed Dante lurking in the doorway to the hall. "Consider yourself lucky, coward of a Vampire who needs women to save him from death. For have no doubt you would have died this night if it wasn't for Yuri."

Orion motioned for Dante to follow, shooting one last angry glare at Xornon before going after Yuri. He would have words with her.

ooc: sorry for not posting in a while, i have some writers block, and this post is all i can come up with.

Khimaria had watched the scene unfold with interest, it was all shown to her in an old pearly white crystal ball, that had appeared as yuri and xornon had left, as was in the nature of her arcane items, they appeared as they wanted too. she didn't really like this Orion man, Yuri khimaria trusted well, and Orion who knew that yuri was one of the generals from the war long past treated her with the kind of utter disrespect as yuri had for humans, although it could be interesting to see if he could be of some use. She felt sorry for Dante to be thrown into this world, but little else could be done, and she was annoyed at xornon for being so easily provoked, she was considering weather it was such a good idea to let him live, but hey she thought, he was useful as he knew the modern world.

while the others had been away Khimaria had been busy preparing a summon to aid her during the day, a wolf with a pure white coat had its own corner of her mind, prepared to take form as she wished and let her see through its eyes the daylight world, but she had no need for it as she still hadn't completely corrupted Laura's body to its full power... but she was close to being able to do everything she used to be able to.

XornonJay
It took ever ounce of self control Xornon had to keep from throwing his throwing knife into the back of Orion's head. Xornon stormed out of the club and down an ally close by. He leaned against the wall and seethed silently. He spun and punched a clean hole in the brick.

Yuri had interfered with a fight that Xornon had wanted to happen since he had seen Orion. Did she really think he was allowing the other vampire to beat him that well?

Xornons jaw clenched as another fit of rage washed over him. He stormed farther into the ally, stopping only to flip dumpsters and kick smaller trash cans.

"That human-dependent son of a b!tch! Does he really think he's stronger then me?!" Xornon roared in anger, punching another hole in the brick. Suddenly, his anger switch to Yuri. "And she had the audacity to interfere with my fight!"

Xornon's rage burned with an intesity that he had never felt before. His orange eyes burned with internal fire that seemed to almost radiate from him.

The sound of voices brought him back from his realm of anger. A group of guys walked down the ally way, all very well biult, and very drunk.

The first to see Xornon instantly pulled a weapon out of his jacket. The gun shook in his hands. "Hand over all you's money," he said, slurring most of his speech.

Xornon smiled a toothly smile. "You chose the wrong person to f*** with tonight boys." Quicker then the others could see, Xornon pulled his sword from its hidden sheath, and decapitated the man with the gun. His friends all pulled out weapons as they saw their leaders head roll to the ground.

"What the f*** was that man?"

"Anger," answered Xornon with a smile. He lunged out and sabbed three of them quickly. The others scrambled out of the way quick enough to save their lives for the next 3 seconds. Xornon flipped into the air, landing onto one mans head, driving his sword into his head.

He quickly jumped in between the last two and stabbed one in the throat and grabbed the other just under the jaw. Before the last knew what happen, he was bitten, and getting the life sucked out of him. With the seven dead bodies surrounding him, Xornon's anger calmed, a little. He began walking back to the cave.

((sry, that was random, but X needs some way to release stress..... mwhahah))

It wasn't hard to find Yuri, Orion sensed where she was as soon as he stepped out into the refreshing night air. He shivered, only now realising just how cold it had gotten of late as he headed towards the building.

He turned to Dante at the foot of the building and took hold of the drummers hands, bringing them up close for inspection under a lamp post. He didn't have to bother trying to sense or smell any traces of blood, for he could see it under the drummers finger nails, and his palms were slightly off colour too. But Orion tested it anyway, nodding at the result with a sigh.

He patted Dante's shoulder. "At lease you save yourself from them, my friend. Come, we'll go see Yuri." He grabbed Dante's collar. "Hold on." With an almighty heave, he tossed the behemoth up the building with all his strength, the drummer landing in a sprawl diresctly behind Yuri, who ignored him completely.

Orion landed cleanly on his feet, boots crunching on snow and ice. "You know," Orion began as he walked slowly towards her. "For all your disgust towards humans, for all your opinions about their weaknesses...you forget one very important thing."

He stood directly next to her. "Humans won that battle centuries past...not Vampire. So you can say whatever you like about them, but you just remember that. Humans have dominated this earth, not Vampires."

He physically turned her towards him, so he could look her dead in the eyes. "You come here demanding my respect? Well let me tell you something. I lost all my respect for the likes of you when you failed our people."

Orion could see the rage building within her. "No, not this time. You are going to hear me out before you strike out in any way. You were supposed to be one of our generals. The very same generals that fairly promised we could take down the humans and their weaknesses. But did that happen?"

Orion's fists clenched at his side. "No, we bloody well got our arses handed to us on a silver platter. That battle was a fools errand, and because of you and our other, so called, leaders, I had to watch my brother die before my very eyes, and took a steak in my own god damned chest."

Orion stabbed a fingerd roughly into her chest. "Respect is not given willy nilly, especially to someone who has proved she far from deserves it so far. If you can prove to me that you deserve my respect, if you can earn it, then I will readilly give it. But until then, you will never demand respect from me, and more importantly, you will never, and I mean never assume you have the right to give me orders. You may have been a general once, Yuri, but that was in the past. This is the present, and your are nothing now but a pawn in someones useless cause to bring our kind back to glory."

Orion raised a brow. "That is why Vampires are coming back, is it not. To exact revenge on the humans who kicked our arse and rule supreme over the earth once more, like the good old days." He chuckled. "Have you ever heard of the phrase 'Every dog has its day'? Well, we have had our day. No matter how hard you try, no matter the size of the ego your leader has, you will never restore Vampire glory. It is a fools errand. You are inviting the humans to destroy us once more."

He could sense Yuri coiling, as if she were about to strike, the anger in her eyes roiling like a storm tossed ocean. "Just stop and think for a moment and tell me this. If we could not defeat them with an army, how do you expect to defeat the humans now, with a mere handful? Even you have to stop and think of the reality of success, Yuri. I know you are no fool, so it beats me as to why you would even consider playing a part in this folly."

Having said his piece, Orion prepared himself for an attack, Dante backing up quickly in case all hell broke loose.

Yuri walked aloof from the scene, frowning at a feeble voice echoing a single word in her head.

Stop

Frowning, she quickened, her pace, the voice repeating itself, this time with a please. After the fifth or fourth time hearing the request, she lost her apathy, scowling darkly. Surely you humans are not that weak. I have walked but a few miles now, please tell me you carry more strength than that-

That's not what I was referring to, In her head echoed the sound of a rasberry, Simone shortly continuing. I don't mind the walk, practice drills take more out of me than that, I'm taking about the emotions...its really freaking me the f*ck out, just stop, I don't even know what the hell it is-

Hatred... Yuri cut in, turning a narrow corner crossly. Anger, bitterness, rage, the urge, the will to want to kill someone effortlessly. You should be so lucky you get to experience the three former...I rarely get in such dark moods.

But why...with orange eyes, Xornon, you only wanted to kill him-

Because I LIKE to kill people. I might have held regrets after the fact but what would have been done, would have been done, She stepped over a bloody corpse, a ruby puddle staining the startling white of the snow.

Yeah...but against this new guy...It's a whole new ballgame, I mean, really. Why do you feel so aggressive? So...vindictive? So...viciously evil if I may?

"Why...?" Yuri backed up into a wall, closing her eyes as she slipped into a daze.

--mind trip--

Yuri shoved the ethereal figure of Simone roughly into the brick wall of a building created from memory. Teeth bared, she shouted. "Because...! I...can...NOT...stand him! I can not! I hate him, the fact that he knows just how to piss me off, just how to make me snap," She slammed the girl into the wall one last time, breaking away and groaning frustrated to the sky. "Just the thought of that...that smug ass walking the face of the earth is too much to even bare!"

Simone coughed slightly, brushing off the crumbling brick that had dusted her jacket. She crossed her arms, leaning back to the imprint of her shape in the wall. "You just don't like the fact that you two are almost alike. Most can't deal with their own personalities and he is almost...just like you."

It had to be one of the worse things that could have been said. Snatching the youth's throat, Yuri pummeled her into the wall, grip tightening around the shadowy figure...

Orion clenched and unclenched his fists at his sides, his spiked leather armbands creaking with the motion.

Dante came to stand next to him, running a hand through his hair. "Well...f**k me..."

"That's one way to put it," Orion replied absently as he stared over the edge of the building after the retreating form of Yuri. "Mirror...Perhaps, if you can put aside your anger for but a few seconds, and look into the mirror yourself, you will see just who really is living a lie."

"Um, brother..ah, she did have a couple of good points there..." Dante trailed off into silence as Orion's icy glare fixed on him, the nig drummer rubbing at his neck nervously.

"Good points? The hell with her! Whether she likes it or not, I am part human now. Is it so wrong for me to try and persue a normal life, rather than live some fantasy of Vampire dominance?"

"Well, being human, I should say that it isn't wrong. But, I find I can't."

Orion's brow shot up. "Excuse me?"

"You are still far more Vampire than human, my friend. Your manner, your willingness to kill, your willingness to have me kill Vor-"

"I was not willing in that!"

"Well, whatever, it doesn't matter. The fact is you are still more her kind than you are mine. Perhaps, for a minute, you should stop and consider her point of view. You might surprise yourself and find she is fighting for something that is worth fighting for."

Orion frowned, eyes drifting out over the streets as he sighed heavily. "Maybe you are right, Dante...maybe."

XornonJay
Xornon walked briskly towards the cave. As he neared, he saw foot prints in the snow. They were woman foot prints, small and not far apart, probably Yuri. Xornon shuddered in anger at the thought of seeing her and instead of going in, sat outside the cave, fiddling with his throwing knife. Khimaria would know he was out here, and if she needed him, would call.

((Yeah, really short, but its late and writers block is coming on. And darn you to hades Decom!! mad I had a perfect record!!! BAH!! lol))

The spark from the tampered amplifier cord ignited the spilt alcohol instantly, sending a raging ball of flame flying up the wall. Dante, the adrenaline rushing through his veins, dove from the stage, forwards rolling and sprinting towards the door, knocking aside startled headbangers that were slow to react to the fire. By the time they did manage to react, Dante was already sealing the main entrance from the outside with an emergency fire axe.

Those inside were soon to find out that Orion had already taken care of all other possible exits, and it wasn't long before their screams for help rose to a shrieking crescendo.

Once across the street, in the shadow of a dark alley, Dante turned to watch the inferno blaze. Despite the sick feeling in his stomach at knowing many would be dead at his hands, including Vorgal, the thrill of it all had overtaken him, and he realized just how much he could enjoy killing. His lips split in a feral grin, the orange glow from the fire flickering across his perfect white teeth.

Orion moved next to the massive drummer, boots crunching on the ice covered stone alley, his expression vacant. Only his eyes, flickering under the fiery glow, gave away any feelings. He had decided burning the club would be the best way to dispose of Vorgal's body and escape an avalanche of questions form the police. This way, it would simply be put down to an electrical fault, no more questions asked. As for the sacrifice of so many in order to accomplish the task, well, that was regrettable, but unavoidable.

Orion adjusted the bass guitar on his back until it felt comfortable, then hit Dante on the arm. "Come on, we should go before anyone arrives, and before I lose Xornon's scent. I want to know where those two are headed."

The two made quick progress on Dante's sleek black motor bike, the drab gray of the city quickly turning into snow covered fields, the two having to slow then for the roads were thick with ice. Tapping Dante on the shoulder after a time, they pulled off the road, Orion pointing into the woods.

"We go that way."

"By foot?" Dante groaned. "Bloody hell."

Orion pushed the bike through the snow, hiding it within the trees as they made sluggish progress towards where the two Vampires had gone, Orion becoming more and more frustrated at Dante's inability to slug through the snow at speed.

After what seemed an eternity, the scent trail ended. Orion held up a hand, pointing, glaring at the figure of Xornon sitting, with what looked to be a knife in his hand.

Orion's boot crunched on the snow as he took a step forwards and, just as he suspected, that knife came wizzing through the air towards him. The bassist's hand whipped up, catching the knife clean out of the air, grip tightening around the blade until an audible snap echoed through the woods. Orion dropped the knife, snapped off at the hilt, into the snow, blowing on his hands to remove the feeling of the freezing cold steel, the hint of a smile playing across his lips.

Xornon rose as they neared, quite obviously seething at the loss of his knife, and Orion prepared himself for the quick defense should the easily riled Vampire decide to attack.

(Wow I see I missed alot well I had an emergency but I'm back and I hope yall remembered where I left off anywho back to business)

Airy awoke to find a broken a pipe gripping water on her forehead. When she looked around she could tell she was in some sort of factory or warehouse. But where was the real question.Airy quickly found out her hands were chained together and tied around a metal pole."You're not too scared are you"The biker punk asked sarcastically."Scared? Why should I be afraid of you?"Airy asked slightly tilting her head in confusion unaware of the situation at hand."Is she getting smart with me?I am a member of the illustrious skullz gang and I wont be mocked by a snobby little rich girl like you!"The man said slapping Airy across the face."What have I done to deserve this"Airy asked curiously. She knew that she could have easily broken free and slaughtered the five of them but she was curious as to why they had chosen to kidnap her and what could they possibly want with her."Why have you captured me?What is your purpose for doing all of this?Airy asked looking into the man's eyes."Your father owns the second largest law firm in this city.He is full of money and the only way I could think to get a chunk of that money was to kidnap daddy's precious little girl."The man said standing up to walk away."Tell me what is your name."Airy asked as the man stopped and turned around slowly."The name is Charles"He said turning back around to walk away.Airy knew from that moment on his fate was sealed. As Airy sat there shhe began to fade into memories of the past but was soon interupted by a young man in her age group."You arent the first person that we've done this to Samantha"The guy said leaning against the wall."Samantha?"Airy questioned."That is your name isnt it?"The guy asked looking directly at Airy."I'm really thirsty and would like to have a glass of ice water if that's possible"Airy asked not knowing why she asked for water when she would much rather taste his blood on her lips. She started to rest her head against the pole but straightened up when the guy returned moments later with a glass of water in hand he then put the glass up to her face and began to give her long slow sips of the water."By the way the name's Daniel."He said smiling in Airy's face but the warm moment soon came to an end when an angered Charles appeared."What the hell did I tell you boy.Not to give them any food or water whatsoever"Charles said smacking the glass out of Daniel's hand. Then he punched him in the stomach and watched Daniel fall to his knees. Then he smirked and walked away."Answer this question for me.Why are you still so loyal to someone who treats you like this."Airy asked shifting her weight to the right side of her body."Charles is like the father I never had he provided for me when my parents abandoned me and left me in the streeets for dead. But Charles stepped in and helped me gave me a place to stay took me to school but awhile later he started to change you see he was in this gang called skullz and I was just one of his other recruits but I had grown close to him even formed a bond with him and besides I had nowhere else to go so I just accepted him and they became my family. We've been stealing and kidnapping people like you for about six months now."Daniel said standing up holding his stomach."So the only reason why you kidnapped me was because I was rich"Airy asked trying to understand. Before Daniel could answer Charles busted back in."Good news mate your father agreed to the ransom and will be meeting with one of my associates to pick up the two million dollars in the next 6-12 hours."Charles said patting Daniel on the shoulder Airy wanted to break free and slit thier slit throats but held back for she wanted to see how it played out.

(Animeboy where have you disappeared to?)

XornonJay
Xornon clenched his jaw and closed his eyes. The thought of killing Orion slowly left X's mind, and he sank back to his seat in the snow. Pulling a second knife from his other boot, Xornon began to spin it between his fingers.
"Your girlfriend's in the cave," Xornon said quietly, his anger now gone, and replaced with a calmness that made Orion both angry, because Xornon had not reacted like he wanted; and catious, because he had seen the angry in his face.
Xornon on the other hand, was quite pleased with the obvious curiosity he had struck in Orion and the anger he had caused with the girl friend comment.
Without another word, Xornon took his eyes from Orion and studied the knife in his hand.

(I really didnt have any ideas so dont be mad cause this is all I could come up with.)

Xzaar stood at the exit waiting for about thirty minutes finally sensing something was wrong he started to follow her fading scent and it lead him to an abandoned alley."He stopped infront of a puddle of black liquid."What is this"Xzaar asked touching the substance.
This oil looks to be from a small vehicle most likely a motorcycle." Ken said still examing the oil. "But Airy doesnt know how to use a motorcycle and I doubt she would just leave with someone without even telling me anything." Xzaar said wondering as to what really happened. "Looks as if there was some sort of struggle." Ken said. "What do you mean and how would you know this." Xzaar said lookingsome sort of evidence of what Ken said. "Look over there." Ken said guiding Xzaar's head to his left. "Airy's glasses are over there and they are smashed." Xzaar said picking them up. "What do you think happened I seriously doubt Airy would have been taken involuntarily." Xzaar said. "Well from what your memory has told me Airy is a very inquisitive and curious person. So it would have been possible for Airy ro have allowed herself to be taken. But for what purpose I dont know." Ken said thinking real hard. "Well I guess thats what we're going to find out." Xzaar said beginning to follow the faint scent of Airy down the alleyway.

Orion pushed his anger away with ease, placing positive human emotions in its place, a smile twisting one side of his mouth as he passed Xornon and into the caves. Yuri as his girlfriend? Now that would be...his smile broadened....very interesting indeed.

With a shake of his head, he continued deeper into the cavern. So, this is where your kind hid themselves after the war? asked the presence in Orion's mind.

I guess so, though I can't tell you for sure. I was dying at the time, and far, far from here.

I see. I hope you have considered Yuri's words from earlier, because if you are going to confront her again, you will need more ammunition.

Such as?

Such as the fact that you realise her dream of your kind liberating themselves from the chains that humans have bound you with is realistic. Such as the fact that she gave you a clue as to make it more so, that being that humans are combustable and will fight each other over the smallest things. This you can use to your advantage. And such as the fact that you must convince her not to hate every one and every thing so blindly.

Orion let out a long snort. Oh yeah, that's going to be a real walk in the park. She'll tear my f*cking head off!

Why so worried about your ability to prevent that all of a sudden? Are you not the one of a kind entity that no one can touch? Can you not kill her easier than she can you?

They aren't theories I care to test any time soon. Orion pushed the presence away, not willing to put up with it any longer. Taking a deep breath, he steeled himself.

"Yuri! I know you're in here! I'd like a word, if you can find it within yourself not to go me without thought."

Airy just laid back and let her mind slip into deep thought. She sat there wondering what had made her curious to know what they wanted in the first place. She knew it was in her nature to be curious but the answer should have been quite obvious. She opened her eyes and looked around she knew she had been down there for hours but how many was the question. She began to wonder about Xzaar certainly he would have been there to rescue her by now.Maybe he went to tell the others of her disappearance.Or of course he knows that Airy is a big girl and is quite capable of taking care of herself.Whatever the case was she knew she wouldnt be rescued anytime soon so if she was going to escape she was going to have to do it on her own.Just as Airy was getting ready to break the chains and go free Daniel came from around the corner. She quickly stopped and looked up at him."I'm sorry we had to do this to you but this is how we make money for the gang."Daniel said truly apologizing to Airy."It's alright I understand this is just another adventure for me."Airy said shrugging her shoulders and dcracking a smile."I cant do this I just cant. He's going to kill you and I just cant let him do it.I wont let the blood of another innocent rest on my shoulders"Daniel said bending down unlocking the metal chain that held her."What are you doing"Airy asked asking the obvious."I'm setting you free I'm not going to let him hurt you I promise."Daniel said kissing her on the forehead.Airy knew that he was indeed putting his life in serious danger and that if Charles found out he would probably kill Daniel unless Airy can find a way to kill him first."Where are we going to go."Airy asked standing up and straightening out her clothes."I dont know but it's going to be far from here so lets get moving."Daniel said grabbing Airy's and as they ran through the maze like factory they had almost made it out but Airy heard a loud and unusual bang sound. When she looked down she saw Daniel rolling in pain holding his stomach as it bled. She looked up to see Charles holding a pistol in his hand."You think you buggers was gonna get away from me that easily."Charles asked now pointing the gun at Airy's head."You had no intention of letting me go alive now did you?"Airy asked almost yelling."TO be honest no not really I was going to get the money. Then I was planing on raping and torturing you and giving you the most slow and painful death I could possibly think of."Charles said bursting into laughter.By now his three henchmen had formed a semicircle around Airy blocking all of her possible exits. That only mad Charles laugh even harder cause he just knew that she wasnt going to have any chance in escaping."And to think I was gonna spare your lives.I was just going to play along with your stupid ransom plan but you took it too far you just dont get it.All this time I could have easily killed you and your boys but I showed mercy and compassion but guess what Charles I'm out of that."And with that said a sick, twisted and deranged smile crept across her face as she extended her nails quickly turned around and slashed the guys face behind her then she grabbed him used him as a shield for the oncoming bullets that Charles was firing like crazy.Once he ran out Airy threw Charles dead comrade ontop of him and turned to the next guy and slit his throat he fell to the ground holding his throat tightly trying to decrease the blood loss. The third guy went for a punch but Airy grabbed his arm pinned it behind his back and sunk her fangs into his neck drinking enough to get her fill then she snapped his neck.Airy just stood there for a second surveying the damage she had just caused in less than a minute. She then walked over to Charles who just finished pulling the guy off of him."I guess I got a little carried away huh.I just lost it and had one of those Yuri moments where I just kill everything in sight."Airy said shrugging the incident off.Her expression quickly changed when she saw the scared and pleading look in his eyes."I'm going to do something I know I'll regret later but I'm really tired of killing so Im going to do something you're not familiar with I'm going to show you some mercy. But I wont allow you to follow us."Airy said stomping on both of his legs cracking them out of place.Airy then remembering Daniel ran over to him.Luckily he wasnt dead yet.She then placed her hands over his stomach and proceeded to heal him.Daniel just looked at the bloody faced Airy in shock."It's a gift."Airy said shrugging it off."Wow where did you learn those kind of moves"Daniel asked as Airy single handedly pulled him up."If I told you most likely you wouldnt live to see the next two hours."Airy said starting to walk away. But she soon stopped when she realized that Daneil was still following her."Daniel why are you still following me."Airy asked turning around."I have no where else to go."He said looking down sadly.Airy knew she had to do somthing with him for he couldnt come with her. After walking for awhile Airy sensed something that told her she was close to other vampires she knew two of them very well but there was others there too but how?Without warning Airy took off running towards the scent forgetting all about Daniel.

(I think I'm catching the writers block bug as well)

As Xzaar was walking he started to feel a sudden dizziness and tiredness. He quickly grabbed a nearby wall as his vision began to blur. Not really knowing exactly what to do Xzaar just stood there hoping the feeling would pass. When Xzaar finally opened his eyes and regained his composure he could tell that indeed some hours had passed. He quickly picked back up his paceas he continued to follow Airy's faint scent. "Are you ok Xzaar" Ken asked concerned. "I'm fine just needed a little rest thats all." Xzaar said continuing to make haste. Finally Xzaar arrived at the abandoned building where he quickly entered. Once inside he saw three bloodied dead bodies and one man squirming for life. "Where is Airy" Xzaar asked somewhat demanding. "You think I'm going to tell you where that bi*ch is at." Charles asked bitterly. "I see she had a little fun. You must have made her mad." Xzaar said laughing alittle. "It isnt funny you what no one fu*ks with the skullz gang and gets away with itand you and your friend are no different." Charles said pulling out a small compact device . Charles then aimed it with his eye pressed a button and released a flash. "Now I'll never forget your face. You are a wanted man now." Charles said laughing manacially. Xzaar was going to say something but he located Airy's scent and on top of that he found her scent to be with that of a human. He quickly rushed out of the building. If Khimaria found out Airy lead a human back to the cave there would definately be hell to pay.

Well, don't just stand there. Talk to her, you retard.

Orion frowned at the voice inside his head, momentarily confused by the term 'retard'. A quick scan of his shared memory gave him an answer he didn't much like.

Orion gazed into Yuri's eyes hard. "I've been thinking, perhaps your desire to have out kind as the dominant species on this planet isn't so ridiculous as it first sounded. Yet, I have to say, it is still near impossible."

He stepped closer to her. "You are going to make the same unintelligent mistakes you made all those years ago. You never learn, do you?" Orion barely had time to react before Yuri's nails were digging into his throat, a dangerous smile upon her lips. Yet, the heavy metal Vampire did not try to free himself. "I am not saying you are unintelligent, Yuri, any fool can see that there is a cunning brain behind those dangerous eyes of yours. You most definately have an intelligent mind in here," he tapped her temple lightly, she releasing her hold on his throat cautiously.

"Yet all that intelligence is clouded by your blind hatred and seriously negative emotions. I am not just talking about your hatred towards humans, though that plays a major role, but also for your hatred of your own kind, me being a prime example. All those years aog, you let your hatred for the humans cloud your judgement, we all did, and now, in this new day and age, you are going to do the exact same thing. And you are going to condem our kind."

He reached out slowly, running his hand along her neck to the spot he had bitten her in the club. "You liked it, didn't you? After you overcame the initial reaction of, 'Oh my god, is this mother f*cker really biting me?', you realised just how good it felt."

He could see her anger rise, she opening her mouth to object, but he forstalled her. "Don't deny it, you felt emotions." Orion placed a hand over his mouth with a mock gasp. "Oh, oh no, did I just say that. Emotion's, Yuri experienced positive emotions just like a human would. Oh the crime and injustice of it all." Orion caught Yuri's arm as she lashed out at him and yanked her close, locking his arms around her waist with her arms pinned between them, her face easily within kissing distance.

"As long as you let these negative emotions rule you, Yuri, you will never recognise your full intellectual potential. You will continue to make the same mistakes that have been made in the past. You must, and I emphasize that word, must, recognise the positive emotions within you, you must put your blind hatred for humans aside and learn to think like them, you must do these things to have any chance of winning this battle. I'd like to believe you can do these things, Yuri, because I truly believe you are one of our kinds last hopes, one of the very few who can liberate our kind from the bonds placed on us by humans."

He leaned in and sunk his teeth into her neck, not as an attack, but for the purpose of bringing her pleasure. Pulling back, he let the blood drip from his chin onto her lips. "Feel the ecstasy, Yuri. Let it coarse through your very being and feel the positivity. Relish it, and know that this could be available to you whever you desire it. Let it wash away the dark emotions that cloud your mind."

Unlocking his arms, he backed away from her slowly, eyes locked onto her always. "Think on my words, Yuri, and keep in mind one thing; despite our differences, despite the turbulance between us, I believe in you, and I am willing to believe in your cause. Prove to me you can reach your full potential, by eliminating these dark emotions of yours then, and only then, will you have my full respect and my undieing loyalty."

With those parting words hanging between them, Orion turned swiftly and strode from the caves to get some much needed fresh air.

((lol, thats probably a rather quick about face, but I am tired, and that is all I could get out of my brain))

ooc: hopefully I'm coming out of writers block as i was able to use voluminous in my first sentence of this post, you don't see that everyday

Khimaria sat outside the cave on a voluminous rock, it was sandstone and surprisingly comfortable. Since the first day of having a body the only exploring Khimaria had made was through the eyes of her crystal ball, and looking around the cave. The world she had seen through the crystal ball was very new and she was amazed by cars and things like that. She had asked Laura for information on many things and was surprised by her answers. One thing she had to do was eat a hot dog.

Khimaria was greatly worried for Zacharias. She feared he had ether traveled too far looking for a suitable host and then got lost. Airy was a different matter, Khimaria hadn't seen her yet but Khimaria could smell her, unfortunately she couldn't tell were her scent was coming from as her seances were messed up. They were messed up because she was sitting on this rock in twilight watching a spectacular pink sunset. It was nice to get out once in a while. she picked up some grass off the floor and rubbed it against her skin, it was getting a bit irritated and the moisture from the grass helped sooth her infuriating itching.

XornonJay
Xornon's anger towards Yuri had all but died down now. He stood, replaced his knife in his boot, and went to her, pulling her aside for a second. "I am...sorry...for my attitude outside. You interfered in my fight, and that is something that I do not take lightly. You didn't know what I was doing, so I can understand why you did jump in, I just needed to get over my anger." Xornon took a deep breath before he continued.

He was not use to apologizing, or explaining himself to others. If Yuri had been anyone else, he would have cut her down where she stood. No one stopped his fights. Even the police suffered when they tried to break up a brawl he had started.

"I would be gracious to be able to remain on your good side during this campaign." In all honestly, he would have been. He and Yuri got along well. And even though he could see her slight atraction to Orion, he felt almost....protective of her.

Xoron quickly shook the thought to the back of his head and looked back at Yuri, his eyes piercing hers. With a toothy smile, he changed the subject back to something less awkward. "So, his bite really shook you up, huh?"

Zernad
Airy walked around the cave looking at the different tunnels and vast tombs inside it."This place hasnt changed a bit"Airy said turning back around. She walked into a the main room where she was able to see a round object leaning against the wall that held her reflection."Wow I indeed look a mess.Maybe a bath isnt a bad idea after all."Airy said walking to the springs.Once she got there she inched her way into the hot springs slowly. When she was all the way inside she relaxed completely.Forgeting how calm and theraputic the springs had once been.Laying back she began to let her mind drift and when she did disturbing images went flashing through her mind.Nearly jumping out of the water Airy just stood there trying to grasp every bit of reality that she could. Finally shaking herself out of thought she dried off and proceded to the nearest room which just so happened to be Yuri's.A devilish smile crept across her face as she opened up backpack Yuri had on the floor and pulled out some faded black jeans and a white T-shirt that had the words "bite me" across it.Airy then slipped the clothes on and walked outside where she saw Khimaria sitting on a voluminous rock playing with some grass."I see you have finally made it back."Khimaria said watching Airy take a seat."I would have came sooner but this world is much diffferent than ours was and I was just out adventuring."Airy explained."I understand Airy but now isnt the time to go on any adventures now I understand that you are a curious being but right now all of us are to naive to venture out because we could bring some unwanted troubles.Like what happened earlier dont think I didnt see that."Khimaria said with a stern look."I'm sorry I just lost it for a minute."Airy said slightly embarassed.Despite Airy's innocence and curiousity when she is angered she has a very terrible temper that makes her extremely dangerous."Come on Airy lets go msybe we could try this "hang out" term sometime."Khimaria said standing up.Not knowing exactly what Khimaria meant by that she stood up and followed her.

Orion bounced lightly on his heels, sarting to feel jittery and on edge. After a time, he growled angrilly and turned to Dante.

"We need not wait for the stars, I am not afraid of the light. That small taste of Yuri has sent my urge into overdirve, and as much as I want to ignore it, I cannot. I must feed, or I will lose my sanity."

((Wow, well done brain, you gave me a whole five lines. Damn these night shifts to hell))

Orion watched Yuri leave, frowing at the fluttering of his heart. There are times when I could curse these human emotions he bethought the presence in his head.

The presence chuckled. Falling for someone?

No! Orion snapped angrilly, shaking his head an instant later and sighing heavily. What she did for me...was uncalled for, and yet she did not hesitate. It...it tasted so good. Warm, sweet...for a moment, I left this earth completely...for a moment...

For a moment you had fallen for her completely. Do not deny it. But then your so called sense came back to you, and you wondered why someone who generally disliked you would do such a thing. Why does she have to have a reason? Maybe she liked your sensual bite to the neck and wanted repay you? Maybe she decided she wanted you to have your ecstacy, albeit in a totally different way? Who knows...who really cares? Be content with the fact she did this for you and leave it be.

Orion's hand rose slowly to his lips, fingers brushing across them lightly. Easier said than done

XornonJay
Xornon sat on a bench in the mall head in his hands. He hadn't slept for the past few days, and the days events had only added to the tiredness that was now creeping up on him. He took a deep breath and ran his fingers through his hair. Xornon had followed Yuri to the spa to make sure she made it there safely. He knew she probably wouldn't need him there if something did happen, but it never hurt to have back up, and the thought of jumping into one of her fights was to good to miss.

Now seated outside the spa, Xornon looked at a clock inside. Yuri would probably be getting out soon, and he didn't want to be seen. The animal-like roar that had echoed through the mall earlier had made Xornon laugh, but he was sure Yuri would not find it so funny that he had been there to hear.

"Well, what d'ya think?" Dante spun around slowly arms out stretched, his black silk formal shirt shimmering under the flourescent light of the store. He wore black formal trousers held with a leather belt sporting his usual pentagram buckle. Upon his feet were black shoes so polished that Orion could literally see his own reflection in them. The behemoth of a drummer had had his brownish-blonde hair cut short only ten minutes earlier, and he looked evey bit the casual business man in his new get up.

"Well, no one's going to recognise you, that's for sure." Orion flicked the fringe of his own newly cut hair out of his eyes. He'd had it cut short, but part of his fringe left long, so that several pitch black strands hung in his face. He wore a dark maroon silk shirt similar to Dante's, and black leather pants, buckled on with a leather belt sporting a skull and crossbones buckle. A leather trench coat lay draped over the changeing room door, it would complete his new look. Just to make sure, no one would recognise him, he hid his unusual turqiouse eyes beneath deep green contact lenses. No would recognise them for who they were. As far as anyone would know, they were dead, burnt alive in a freak accident.

"Now tell me," said Orion, "Allowing for half an hour for your hair cut, where have you been for the rest of the day?" Orion glanced at his new rolex, noting they had been at the mall for nearly four hours already. He vaguely wondered how Yuri had kept herself occupied whilst he awaited the massive drummer's answer.

Dante didn't need to speak, he lifted the sleeve of his shirt up to reveal a black and grey tattoo of the Grim Reaper, upon the blade of the Reaper's scythe, was tattooed the number 126.

"What does the number stand for?" Orion wondered, unable to come up with the answer himself.

"When we first split up, I went to the Hi-Fi store on the other side of the mall. I saw the news. An estimated 126 people were killed in our little inferno, in my little inferno, that just happened to rip through the entire block." He looked at Orion hard. "I intend to add numbers to my body each time you make me kill somebody, which, I have no doubt, you will do at some point."

Orion nodded in understanding. "We all have our ways to deal with the guilt. For me, my Vampire emotions deal with it subconsciously...well, most of the time, for you, I am sure, your tattooes might work. If I were you, though, I wouldn't bet on it." Orion grinned suddenly. "Estimated? So what are you going to do if they find more...or worse...less?"

"Tattooes can be removed," Dante said simply as he shrugged and let the sleeve of his shirt drop back down over the artwork.

"Well, all that's left is to do something to you that can't be removed."

Dante's face instantly became wary. "What do you mean?"

Orion made sure no one was aorund before opening his mouth and letting his fangs extend slightly. "I will have some fused to your existing teeth. You obviously won't be a real Vampire, but if you are going to co-exist with us, you had better learn to live like on. I do not feed on people to live, like a full blooded Vampire, no, I live to feed on people. You shall be the same, and you will aquire a taste for human blood. You will have to try very hard to be just like us, for whilst the present compant can stand your presence, there may be others who will kill you on the spot for being human."

"But they will be able to sense me, I've noticed you can all sense things like that."

"They will also sense that you have fed on human blood. Whether they like it or not, they will have to recognise that...maybe not respect it, but they will recognise that and give you some sort of acceptance. If they don't, you can be sure, I will kill them before they kill you."

"Whoa, hang on a minute...why can't you just turn me?"

Orion frowned. "Turn you?"

Dante rolled his eyes. "C'mon, you know? Vampire bites human, human turns into Vampire, ring any bells?"

Orion stared at Dante for a full minute before bursting into an uncontrollable fit of laughter.

Dante couldn't help but smile. "What? What's so funny about that?"

"Ahh," Orion forced the laughter down, breathing heavy, eventually able to reply. "Dante, my man, I think you've been watching too many movies, my friend. If we bute someone, you can be sure, they die. Do you really think there'd be so few of us if we could just turn all you humans into our kind? No, of course not, to think that is rediculous. Look, some facts you should really dismiss from the movies. One, we can't turn people. Two, garlic is an ingredient in cooking and has no detrimental effect on us whatsoever. Three, a crucifix is just a religeous symbol and had no power to destroy a Vampire. Four, while, yes, a full blooded Vampire doesn't particularly like the sinlight, and they burn rather easily, it does not kill them, they are not going to crumble to dust and float away on the breeze. Clear enough?"

"I guess," Dante rubbed the back of his neck. "But a steak to the heart still kills you, though, because your..." he trailed of as Orion's lips tightened into a hard line.

The bassist offered a feral grin. "Dante, you seem to forget, that anything dies if a steak is driven through thier heart, including you."

Dante frowned, not quite able to believe just how stupid he had been. Of course anything would die if a steak was driven into its heart. He shook his head, chastising himself inwardly, F*cking twit

"Come," Orion said as he collected his trench coat and shrugged into it, "It's fusion time."

"Will it hurt?" Dante asked, worry clearly evident in his tone.

"Never fear," Orion grinned, "I'll knock you out personally. You won't feel a thing." With a chuckle, he walked on slightly ahead.

Dante swallowed hard, hesitating only slightly before continueing after the bassist, knowing that however much this fusion thing hurt, it'd probably pale in comparison to the pain he'd experience during an existance with Orion's Vampire kind. The behemoth of a drummer steeled himself, he would have to accept his fate, Orion would have it no other way.

"Ah, just one question?" Dante piped up after fourty five minutes of walking through the city and any number of back alleys.

"Hmmm...?"

"Didn't Yuri say she wanted us back in three hours? That was, what, nearly five hours ago?"

Orion shrugged. "She'll get over it. We have more important things to do. I'm sure she'll understand."

"From what I've seen, she's not the sort to let people off lightly for disobeying her."

Orion glanced at the drummer in annoyance. "I am my own man, Dante, and she will have to learn to accept that I have my own things to do, besides helping her cause. And if I remember correctly, I said she had to throw off the darkness that is within her before she had my total alliegence. Now, shut up, I need to think of the route."

((lol...had to shove this in because I forgot that Yuri gave them three ours...lol...ah wells, she'll just have to be pissed of with them.))

Dante didn't much like the dank, ominous stone room beneath the city in which they stood. He liked even less the thin, gangly looking men in their tattered leathers that stood watching their approach. Between the two was a silver chair, much like a dentists chair, and various pieces of equipment that Dante dared not to dwell on too much.

"Do not speak to the Fang," Orion said quietly as they approached. "They will reply only to Vampires and consider it an insult to have a human voice assaulting their hearing."

"Who are they?" Dante whispered back.

"The Fang are a secret society, ancient beyond belief. Not many knew of them, but they have been associated with my kind for centuries. There are only a handfull left these days."

"Are you telling me they are hundreds of years old, these two here?"

"Look closely, and I think you will see for yourself."

Dante squinted through the gloom, taking a good long look at the two figures and his eyes widened in surprise. Thier skin was tainted, a horrible yellow-black colour, like they were covered in multiple gastly bruises. Part were the skin was missing completely, revealing slightly rotted flesh and stringy tendons. Dante's mouth twisted in distaste. It was if they were only half decayed, like something had tried to preserve them over the years, but only half managed the task. The big drummer shivered, not liking being near these creatures.

"Master Orion," the two bowed their heads, Orion mimicking the gesture, Dante quickly following suit. "It has been quite some time. You were able to find us with relative ease?"

Orion gazed into the amber eyes of the half dead man as his bruised looking hands held up an amulet that hung around his neck. "The amulet calls to me constantly," Orion said in a half daze as he gently took it in his own hands and kissed the sapphire in its centre. He placed it back into the Fang's hand and turned to Dante with glazed eyes.

"Lay in the chair," he ordered with a voice that sounded inhumanly soft.

Dante swallowed hard, asking as he layed on the cold, forbidding metal chair, "And the pain, you are going to knock me out personally?"

Orion gazed at him, smiling crookedly and looking dazed under the strange spell the sighting of the amulet had put him under, a smile that turned almost nasty just as quickly. "Suffer it," the bassist said coldly, turning his back on the drummer as unseen shackled whipped up from the sides of the chair out of nowhere to secure Dante's arms and legs.

Dante struggled for all he was worth when he felt the moist fingers of one of the Fang push down on his temples, holding his head in place as the other inserted a cold metallic intrument designed to keep his mouth from closing. No matter how much he squirmed, he couldn't budge the shackles, but he increased his attempts at seeing the strange instrument with its end glowing red hot in the Fang's hand.

The half dead creature smiled nastily as he placed an ancient and preserved Vampire tooth against one of Dante's teeth, third left from centre. The scream that ripped from the drummers throat when the molten end of the fusion device made contact made even Orion flinch, the Fang holding Dantes head tilted his own head back with a broad smile, as if drinking in the pain of the human.

Eyes wild and breathing hard, Dante tried so hard to escape as the second Vampire tooth was placed third right from centre, that he actually shook the chair. He quickly lost all ability to struggle as the pain ripped through his brain again, causing the viens in his head to almost burst, his eyes to almost pop from their sockets.

Orion watched the entire process with no emotion visible on his face, but if one was to look into his eyes, they would have seen the torment of having to put his friend through such a proceedure. The presence inside his head had retreated completely, surprising Orion with its squirmishness and refusal to watch the proceedure with him.

A moment later it was all over, Dante having finally reached his maximum threshold and passing out from the pain. The Fang stepped back from the table, the one without the amulet carefully packing up their equipment as the other made his way to Orion, wiping his moist hands on a black cloth.

"He will be fine, this human of yours. I must admit, I am impressed. Most pass out on the first tooth."

"He is a tough one, that is for sure," Orion agreed as he crossed the room and hoisted the unconcious form of Dante over his shoulder. He crossed back and took the Fang's amulet in his free hand, kissing the sapphire again and bowing his head to the half dead man. "Your services are greatly appreciated as always."

"We live to serve, Master Orion."

Orion bowed his head and left the room and making his way through the dank hallways that led up to an alley, shaking off the effects of the amulet, his memory of what the Fang looked like becoming distorted in his mind, as if only half a memory remained. With a frown, he adjusted the weight of the behemoth on his shoulder and focused his attention on picking up Yuri's scent. It didn't take long, he could smell the negativity a mile away, he could smeel she was up to no good, and set off at a jog in the scents direction.

ic: Khimaria stepped into a shop that had the proud name: curl up and dye hair saloon. She was in dire need for a haircut, her hair had curled and reached all the way half way down her spine and became very greasy and unpleasant while she had aged and the name of the hairdressers had been just too enticing.

as she entered the shop a round faced shop assistant came up to her.

"Hi hon." She said in a very bouncy and friendly manner. "What can we do for you."
"As you may see i badly need my hair shortened." Khimaria paused.
"Ask for it to be trimmed just below you shoulders, thinned straightened." Laura chipped in, then stopped and thought for a few seconds. "Then ask for it to be washed dyed bright green and have 666 sprayed in in bright orange dye, that would look cool!"
"NO child" Thought Kimaria violently. "I will have the trim thin and wash but i will not have my hair died so i look like a village jester with the braincells of a dead flee that had its hair squashed."
"Alright it was just a joke" thought Laura back.

Out of her mind trip Khimaria said. "can i have my greasy hair washed drastically trimmed... say down to my shoulders instead of halfway down my back as it is, then thinned... and then to top it off may you straiten it please."
"sure thing." said the woman smiling "that may take almost two Horus and I'll Finnish with my current client then it will be you, we don't get much business of late, i blame the new name." she laughed and went back to some mans hair, he was just getting all his hair shaved off so it wouldn't take too long.

When it came to Khimaria's turn she sat on a comfortable chair while the woman who had greeted her in the first place heated the hair straightener and put warm water and soap into a sink, the woman then pressed a button and the chair slowly reclined so Laura's hair was submerged in water.

Then the woman used the hair straightener to get her hair easier to cut and started the long process of shortening and thinning.

When Khimaria was finished her hair looked allot better. She searched her pockets and to her dismay found no money. Not worrying she made a simple illusion of money and handed it over with a smile and said her goodbyes. After that simple illusion she felt absolutely drained and decided too go back to the cave for a nap, evidently Laura wasn't used to having any magical energy running through her body. Quickly Khimaria checked too see if she could find Yuri, failing this she made her own way back to the cave

Xzaar managed to quickly cut the guy off standing infront pf him. "Where are you going."Xzaar asked not moving. "To catch up with a friend." Daniel said getting ready to walk around Xzaar. "I cant let you go this way." Xzaar said continuing to block Daniels path. "I dont remember asking you to get involved in my business." Daniel said getting aggravated. "Look unless you want to be someone's meal I suggest you turn around and leave right now." Xzaar said but soon the feeling came back as Xzaar vision began to blurr and his head began to spin. Daniel then took this opprotunity to continue running in the direction of Airy's footprints. As soon as Xzaar regained his sight and realized where he was at and that Daniel had continued in the directionhe had told him not to go in. Xzaar brgan to run after him. But it was too late Daniel had already reached the cave where Xzaar saw Daniel stop directly infront of Airy. "Daniel What are you doing here?" Airy asked in a low tone. "Where is Khimaria" Xzaar asked approaching both her and Daniel. "She's on her way back." Airy said turning her attention back to Daniel. "I had to find you I wanted to ask you something." Daniel said walking closer to Airy. "No time Khimaria is on her way back" Xzaar said interupting as he reached to grab Daniels arm but before he could Xzaar fell to the ground holding his head. Soon Xzaar started to feel the overwhelming tiredness and he knew it was back Xzaar once again lost in the blurring of vision and the disconnecting of reality. Before Airy could see what happened with Xzaar. Khimaria came back ready to go inside when she suddenly stopped dead in her tracks. Wothout even seeing Daniel her and Airy rushed to Xzaar's side helping him up and carrying him to his room. Where they laid him down. "What is happening to me?" Xzaar asked Ken. " I dont know it would seem as though you are tired and that you are growing weaker. But my body isnt the least bit tired so it has to be you. I suggest you rest deep within your mind where theres peace and quiet and there's no disturbances." Ken suggested. "Alright that sounds good I'm going to put myself in a deep sleep so no matter what dont let anybody wake me." Xzaar said retreating deep within his mind. Witnessing this a Ken began to smile a mischevious smile.

Dwarfdude
Einari sat in the back of the pub, watching the fight with slight amusment and interest. He thought the two to be human. But how had they gained such quick reflexes, and amazing strength? He shrugged, figuring that they were rugby players, or something of that nature. He sipped his Coke and whiskey mix, fake id weaving between his fingers subconciously.

Then he felt it, a sudden surge of power that only a vampire could emit. He nearly spat out his drink in surprise. But where had it come from? He quickly looked through the crowd watching the barfight, scanning for any new faces from under the shadow cast by the brim of his crooked hat. Then it smacked him, stright across the face. Of course! Had he been so oblivious, so ignorant? The two fighters, they were the vampires. There was no better explanation for their speed and strength. But how? Einari had been sure that he had been the last of them, except for the occasional half-breed. But no, these were pures.

Einari lept to his feet, draining the remains of his drink. He put his hands in the pockets of his hoodie, walking towards the exit as quickly as possible, and supressing his own vampiric presence at the same time, letting the human mind gain some control, but Einari's mind still in control of most of it. His hands clenched around his switchblades, he quickly and quietly made his way through the crowd, disturbing no one.

He made it to the door and breathed a deep sigh, leaning on the threshold. He was just glad he had made it out alive, without one of the pures recognizing his presence. If they had, he would have had to fight, and battling one vs. two of his own kind was not Einari's idea of a night on the town. He would have had to run, far, far away, for they would have known that he was still alive, the Traitor.

Not that it would change much. Einari would have to conceal himself now, coming out of his small lair less. At least until these unexpected nuisences left.

Richard's mind gave a tiny struggle, but Einari subconciously sent a shock of pain through the human mind, a shock of pain that would have alerted another vampire of his presence from over 100 yards away.

The two other pures were fighting only 15 yards away.

Realizing his mistake as soon as he had done it, he made no attempt to hide his presence now. Taking full control of the human body, he sped off at amazing speed, the humans who he passed cracking their necks in trying to keep up with his movements. He sped off for downtown, running the entire way, never waning in his speed.

After about fifteen minutes of running, he turned off into a dark alleyway, vaulting over the 7 foot high fence with grace and ease, then running, faster still, into a metal scrap yard. He kicked one barking dog out of his way, sending it flying ((poor doggie)) then dived into a metal pipe, crawling the length of it, into a small pen for the dogs. He opened the door and rushed outside, finding himself, as he intended, outside the junkyard on the opposite side.

Einari took only a moments pause to get his bearings, then set off at an amazing pace, as fast if not faster than before. He was fairly sure he had recognized one of the presences as Yuri, who was the fastest and most agile vampire he had ever known, save maybe himself. He would have to work hard to lose her.

He made a few more turns down intersections and dark alleys, ending up at a building in the process of being built. All there was was the skeleton iron of the building. He easily scaled the ten foot wooden wall and landed, perhaps not so safely, on the other side. He rolled as he landed, and was up and running immeadiatly, heading for a ladder, knowing the elevator wasnt fast enough. He took the rungs three as a time, quickly moving up to the top (9th) level of iron, then balanced his way across to the edge of the skeleton, and jumped the six foot gap between him and the next, fully built, building. He made a few other jumps, and then headed down an emergency escape, jumping down from level to level.

He hit the ground and kept running, he seemed to never tire. Heading towards downtown again, just straight running. He made another turn into another alley, between two particularly old buildings, and climbed up the left one's emergency escape, to the roof, were he hid in the shadowed nook of a gargoyle's wing.

He was safe, he assured himself. Of course, he didnt know Yuri that well, so he didnt know how fast she was, exactly, nor how much endurence she had. Einari, on the other hand, was hardly tired by the run, he had trained himself to be able to run at top speed for hours on end, and this little jog was hardly a tiring experience, he wasnt even panting. Whether that was of fear that they would hear him or because he wasnt tired is another thing.

Why did you do that? the presence in Orion's mind queried him as he used a cloth to sponge Dante's forehead. Why did you treat her like that?

Orion blinked in surprise, thrown off guard by the subject of the question.

Why would you do that, when you so obviously wanted to tell her she was right, that you were sorry, and that she deserved to be informed of your trapesing about? Why would you do that, when it was you who said, if she changed, you would give her your respect and loyalty?

Orion frowned. Because she...

Don't say she hasn't changed. You know that is untrue. She was right, when she said that she was changing, and that you shouldn't expect miracles over night. She has been who she is for hundreds upon hundreds of years, and yet you expect her to change in a heartbeat? Don't you think that is just a little unfair on her? For christ sakes, give her a chance...she may just surprise you.

Orion stared off at nothing, letting those words sink in as the cloth dropped from his hands unnoticed. "Think you can do me a favour?" he asked Xornon without looking at him, and without waiting for an answer, he continued, "take Dante back to the cave with you when you go."

Not waiting around to hear Xornon's assured protest, Orion strode from the bar, whisking through the night, his sense focused on the trail of Yuri. He soon found where she had been sleeping near the construction site, kneeling down and scooping up some snow in his right hand, bringing it to his nose to take a long sniff, drinking in her scent. "Not that long ago..." he trailed off as his head whipped around, senses twitching at feeling something in the night.

Shaking his head and putting it down to his mind playing tricks on him, he focused on the one he was seeking, stealing through the night, a sleek shadow that light refused to reveal. It wasn't long before her form was in sight, and he had designs to follow her and watch what she did before making his presence known. It only took a moment to realise his folly, as she stopped dead on the ppot, turned around quite deliberately, and focused her piercing gaze upon him, the beginnings of anger showing at his intrusion. Surprisingly, he could sense her fight the emotions.

Placing his hands in the deep pockets of his leather trench coat, Orion walked out into the street light, expression neutral as he stepped up close to her. "I don't really know how to say this very well, so, I guess I'm just going to say it."

He took a breath, looking her directly in the eyes. "I apologise. It was wrong of me to treat you that way. It was wrong of me to expect things of you so fast." He reached out and gently took hold of her shoulders. "I can see you are trying. I can see the changes within, if I but look hard enough. So...yeah, I'm sorry I guess." He stepped back, rubbing his neck nervously. He gave a little half chuckle. "Well, I guess it's official. I pretty much suck at apologising, but, well, there it is."

((w00t! I win the chase then. This is going to be super short, I'll probably continue it later))

Einari felt the preseence of a pure, and again suppressed his own presence. He recogized this one as Yuri, and quickly withdrew his switchblades, flicking the blades out of their handles. He held one in each hand, an prepared for a running fight. He knew he should have run 'til dawn, he knew it. His intincts had told him to. But he had taken the chance and stopped. Idiot.

He waited for Yuri to kick the gargoyle's wing to gravel, revealing him. It did not come. Einari waited and waited to be found. Yuri's presence remained, athough her presence subdued itself a little. He did not move, fearing any slight noise could give him away. It could have been minutes, maybe hours, Einari didn't know nor care. He was stock still. The presence faded slightly again, and Einari heard, his senses at their peak because of the adrenaline, footsteps on metal. She had moved way from him?

Einari sighed in relief, stowing his blades. Then he felt a second presence, not the same as the one at he bar. He moved quickly, quietly, and steathily as a shadow, moving to the right, then back towards his would-be-captors. He was interested in what was blinding Yuri's senses so much that she could not sense his presence. He hid behind another gargoyle, south of the building under construction, and lisened to their converosation with interest.

Einari froze where he was, and thought quickly. He knew if he ran, he would have a chance of survival, although slim. She did not seem to recognize his presence, though, as Einari Lochkin, although, before the war, he had seen and talked with her several times beforehand. If he could persuade them he was someone else...Which way which way, he thought, knowing that the chances were even either way. Einari sighed, knowing that the gig was up, and that if he ran for it, they would eventually recognize his presence anyway. And then the chase over the continents would begin.

Einari sighed again, slowly gaining his composure. He was about to face death, he knew it, and knew it well. Upon hearing a shout of "I'm losing my patience!" he stepped out of the shadows, revealing himself in his black hoodie, jeans, and crooked trucker hat. One of his hands was clenched around a switchblade inside his pocket, for if it came to a duel, he did intend to fight back, and the other was raised in surrender. His head was down, the brim of his cap casting a shadow over his features.

"You caught me...Pity, I was just getting into the story-"

He dodged the kinfe that flew from Yuri's fingers, tilting his head so it missed him by less than an inch. He knew that wasnt her fastest, unless the new human body was slowing her reflexes, because he had seen his blades at work, and seen human's throats slit before they realize she had a knife in her hands. He flciked his own knife's blade out, but did not remove it from his hoodie pocket.

"Tut tut...Temper...You always had a short fuse, as I remember, Yuri...But whats this...Who's the strapping young lad we have here?"

Einari looked at the bassist with interest. Obviously he was a vampire, he could sense as much, but he had no recollections of him at the plains...Of course, there were a ton of vampires there, so he might have been there afterall.

Einari looked at Yuri, who seemed deep in concentration, and Einari knew why. He had mentioned her name, but she could not recall him. He lept down from his perch a-top the building and walked towards them slowly, his face slowly becoming visible, until he stood under the street light, his face still in half shadow.

"Cant remember? I'm disapointed...Fine, we'll play a name game!"

Einari put on a look of mock delight.

"See if any of these nicknames ring a bell...The Betrayer? The Traitor? The Trickster? Maybe your freind will know this one - Loki?"

He waited, a satisfied look at his face, sticking his other hand inside the other hoodie pocket and readying the other switchblade. He saw a look of comprehension dawn on Yuri's face at long last. He smiled in a twisted way.

"Thats right....Kin of the Lake.....Lochkin.....Einari Lochkin."

He removed his trucker hat so they could view his full face. From his grey tainted-white eyes to his twisted and malovent smile. He sighed, throwing his hat to the ground.

"Well....I guess the gig is up then....Unless you want to be merciful?"

He gave a short, hollow, sardonic laugh.

XornonJay
Xornon dropped to the ground from the biulding he standing on, landing almost completly silent behind the strange vampire. "Mercy is not a virtue that I have," Xornon said, pleased as the stranger spun around to face him, an obvious look of surprise on his face. He threw a switch blade toward Xornon, who had expected it and caught it perfectly between his fingers by the handle.

Yuri, thrown off by Xornon sudden appreace, recovered well. "Nor I," she said. The two closed the distance between themselves and the stranger. Xornon cocked his head to the side and smiled. "So you are the famous traitor." Yuri's eyes erupted into internal flame as she heard the name spoken again. She was not happy about this at all.

Xornon shook his head at her, silently telling her to hold her temper for just a few moments. He was gonna have fun with this. "So, traitor, tell me, did you turn your back on your people because you thought we would loose the war?" Xornon smiled mischeviously. "Or because you didn't have the balls to fight?"

Yuri raised an eyebrow at the comment. Xornon had practically just bashed himself. She smiled and shook her head. She saw where X was going though. He was playing mind games.

The other vampire's eyes narrowed at Xornons comment. "That must be it. It obviously strikes a cord with you," said Xornon, his smile getting even more toothy. He was having to much fun. He had always enjoyed playing games with peoples mind. When he was young, that was how he would "beat up" people. He had not always been strong, but his mind had always been sharp.

He could out wit, and talk circles around anyone, and they would always walk away feeling stupid. Or if they did fight, they would be to pissed, and would fight in a rage, easy to beat.

Xornon would play this game with this new vampire. And we would enjoy it. And if he was smarter then he looked, he could always kill him the hard way. He was good at that too.

((didn't mean to turn that into a char history lesson, but hey, its there, might as well keep it))

Dwarfdude
Einari wanted to lash out at the man, but he mastered his impulse. He knew of people like Xornon, who played with people's minds. He knew one very well indeed. Who that was? Himself of course. They would lure their enemies into a great rage, blinding them, and then easily avoid the furious, un-tactful attacks, slowly killing their opponents with small counters and slashes. Einari quickly calmed himself, the rage he had suppressed for so long boiling up. He quickly withdrew his second switchblade, though slowly enough to have the others realize he did not wish to make any attacks with it, and dropped it into the gutter, into the dark and dank sewers.

"Oh dear...It seems I have dropped my knife into your home..."

It was Einari's turn to catch the blade. He, however, caught it as it went past him, holding it by the handle. He had barely managed to get out its way, even though all he had to do was move his head an inch to the left. This one was a powerful fighter, that much was obvious. Einari, however, did not prepare for a fight, as he knew they were expecting. He instead flicked the blade back into the handle and put the knife into his back pocket. He saw a flicker of a confused look cross Xornon's face, but it was quickly replaced by the apathetic look that he had worn before.

"Actually, the reason I fled was because I thought that our, rather your, people could not win. Proud and blinded by their asinine ignorance. True, humans in small groups are no match for vampires, but the army you faced was no small group. I counted at least forty-thousand spears as they passed me. Their column was over two miles long. How many vampires were at the plains?"

Einari waited for a response for about five seconds, and recieved none.

"How could you presume to beat such impossible odds? I dont know if you have realized this yet, but it is the pride and ignorance of our kind that has led to our downfall. I did not run because I was frightened by humans. I ran because I knew that I would die if I did not. Some say that I have shamed myself, that I'm a coward, and that I betrayed my noble kin. I respond to those with these words: I am not ashamed of my actions. The new game of this world is survival, and the so called 'cowards' are always the ones to survive, while the vain 'heros' die. And lastly, I have no kin. Anyone who is as vain, as ignorant, as proud, and as downright stupid as those who stayed behind to fight on the plains is not of my namesake. I live to survive. I do not live to die fighting for such a noble cause as extinction."

Einari finished his small speech, hatred burning in his eyes, for he had meant every word of it. He looked at the three who surrounded him. They all had the same look of being slapped to the face, and knew they deserved it, but were anger none the less. A look of mixed anger, confusion, and grudging resignation. Einari, satisfied he had made a small impression on them, prepared to be slaughtered, for he knew that out of those emotions, the vainity and pride of vampires would always lead them to anger. But that was his only defense for his actions of one and a half centuries previous. There was a slight chance he would recieve a small bit of mercy, but Einari dismessed the thought as quickly as it had come to him. He knew that he would recieve no mercy from the leaders of the forces he had just insulted, although he might find some in the vampire who's name he did not know.

Taking his remaining switchblade in his right hand, he fell into a fighting position, his knife twirling dangerously between his fingers. He laid out his plan as they recovered from the shock of his accusations. He would fight only a little, then, as soon as he could find a route, he would run. Run for his very life, to the end of his endurance, or to dawn, which ever came first.

XornonJay
Xornon smile grew as he saw the men get into a fighting stance. "I also have a blade," he said, drawing his sword from its hiding place behind his back. "However, mine is slightly bigger then yours."

The mans face flickered with a look of anger and fear, then was dissmissed at once. He hadn't expected Xornon to pull a knife, much less a sword.

"I also ran from that battle," Xornon said, moving closer to vampire, twirling his sword gracefully. "I was a coward, and I did shame myself, but I am working to regain it. Nothing you said has offended me. Her on the other hand," he pointed to Yuri, who had the look of someone that was about to spontaneously combust. "She is one of the spirits. She found till the end, and she doesn't take well to deserters."

The stranger looked at Yuri and obviously saw the hate in her eyes, for he turned most of his attention to her. Seeing the oppurtunity he was waiting for, Xornon pulled his throwing knife from his boot, and threw it. It sailing over the traitors shoulder, toward Orion, who caught it gracefully.

A small dropplet of blood came from the strangers earlobe, exactly where X had aimed. The smile returned to Xornons face. "As you can see friend, you are sorely out matched. I suggest you come with us, and we will take you to be judged by Khimaria."

The name of his former Emporess seemed to frighten the vampire. Xornon made his way to Yuri. "Hold your anger for just a while Yuri. I'm sure Khimaria will judge a traitor harder then me. And if she just happens to want him to continue to live, I'm sure we could make his life miserable for a while."

The seething Yuri spun on her heels in a fury. As she passed Orion though, his looked seemed to help her control her anger. Shifting his gaze to Orion, Xornon spoke. "I know we have not been the best of friends thus far, but now that you're part of the team, I might as well try to get along." He looked back at the traitor.

"I'll take care of him. Dante is on the roof. Get him then come back here to give me a little more cover for this guy."

((hope that post is ok with everyone. if not, just tell me, and we'll ignore it))

As Airy and Khimaria left Xzaar's room.Khimaria looked up quickly finally noticing Daniel's presence."How did you get in here"Khimaria said walking towards Daniel ready to attack. But Airy jumped infront of her cutting Khimarias path off from Daniel."Khimaria dont he only came here because of me"Airy said.Khimaria relaxed her claws and stood straight after a minute or two she motioned for Airy to follow her to the back.Once in the back Khimaria leaned against the wall and finally asked."Why in the world did you lead him here for?"Khimaria asked sounding more curious then angered."I didnt lead him here he followed me on the account that he had something important to tell me."Airy said."I hope you arent thinking of turning him into one of us."Khimaria said raising an eyebrow."No of course not.Once he tells me whatever it is that he has to tell me I'll send him out on his way.Promise."Airy said shifting her weight."Oh ok well just tell him to make it quick wouldnt want the other's to come back and he end up being someones midnight snack."Khimaria said walking away. Not pleased with Khimarias last remark Airy turned to search for Daniel but found him standing in the doorway."So tell me why have you followed me here? What exactly do you want to tell me?"Airy asked walking over to a small wooden table and taking a seat."Well earlier when I told you my life story I wasnt completely honest with you.You see when I was younger my parents were part of this society. They were a modernized vampire hunter clan except they had the latest in technology at the time. The society went by the name S.T.R.I.K.E. just an evolved form of the ancient Belmont clan.Anyway thier main purpose was to track down the small traces of vampires that remained whether they were escapees of the war or if they were made after the war.So things were going plenty good with my life I must have been about 12 years old I had started with my training to become a vampire hunter I was to follow in the footsteps of my father who was a famous vampire hunter. So one day about a hundred or so vampires were found in a Romanian town and my father being the great general he was volunteered to lead the army.My mother not wanting to leave his side accompanied him for support.I can still remember seeing the men pack onto the jets armed and ready to fight of course I was left at the headquarters with all of the inexperienced soldiers so I just sat and waited and waited for the day my father would return with the good news of our victory but that day never came infact I never saw anyone who set out on that mission again. Finally the news of the defeat had gotten back and I just lost it temporaily going crazy I killed three people while in my crazed state.Seeing me as a danger I was locked away in a black hole. After being ther for what seemed like months I had slowly began to regain my sanity. And after waiting awhile to be released I had found a way to break out on my ownand when I came out to my surprise everyone there was dead. They were slaughtered an I just stood there realizing I had lost the remainder of what I felt like was my family. Not only had I lost my parents but I had lost my entire clan as well.So I began to live on the streets commiting petty crimes just to get by and thats when I met Charles and joined the skullz gang I know it was stupid but I felt accepted and I felt like once again I had a family. And even though we were committing crimes and doing wrong they still had my undying loyalty"Daniel said moving closer."But why are you telling me all of this?"Airy asked curiously."Because you are the first person in a long time I've felt some sort of connection to I dont know how or why but I trust you and I feel a strong connection towards you"Daniel said stepping back alittle.Airy nodded her head and walked up slowly to Daniel she slowly lifted his shirt revealing a cross branded on his upper left shoulder."So you do speak the truth.Who would have thought the Belmont clan would have survived all these years?I bet there are other branches of vampire hunters"Airy said as her mind wondered off but she soon brought all of her attention back to Daniel."But I'm a vampire you're a vampire hunter not to mention the fact that your family was killed by my kind. You should hate me."Airy said putting his shirt back over him."I should and perhaps I should even try and kill you but what good would that do?Besides I doubt I could kill you even if I had the chance."Daniel said. Not sure that was supposed to mean Airy soon thought of Khimarias words and looking at the clock it was nearing the hour of four and knowing the others would be returning any minute she quickly grabbed Daniels arm and leading him to the door."Wait you are not going to kick me out are you? It's the middle of the night I have no where else to go and the skullz gang is probably looking for me right now."Daniel said with a pleading look in his eyes."You're right it would be rude to just throw you out well come with me."Airy said leading him to a room in the farthest back part of the cave."This is where you will sleep for the night oh and by the way I hope you dont mind rats"Airy said slamming the door shut. She smiled at her attempt to scare him but the smile soon faded and she silently hoped Daniel had locked his door.

Orion landed lightly on his feet, the massive form of Dante bouncing uncomfortable on his shoulder, the drummer grunting at the impact, eyes snapping open as he came to.

Dante's vision cleared slowly, to be met with the intimidating glare of Xornon, the colour of the Vampires eyes unsettling the confused drummer. His vision shifted to a new figure, one that seemed to be twitching, as if he was about to spring somewhere. Dante realised that it was yet another Vampire, he wasn't sure how, but for some reason it was obvious.

Orion stood the drummer up and lent him against the wall, checking Dante's pupils under the light, giving a satisfied nod. "You'll be fine," he ensured the big man. Turning, Orion look at Xornon. "I want nothing more than to try and get along with you, Xornon. You are right, we haven't exactly been friends, but, I can see that, like Yuri, you are trying to change your ways. I do not believe you are the coward you were in the past."

He clasped Xornons wrist, the Vampire mimicing the gesture, arms locked sealing a tentative truth. With a nod, Orion turned his attention to the so called 'Trickster'."

"I don't have alot of tolerance, and right now, looking at you, I have even less. You know, Xornon himself might have ran, but at least he had some balls. At least he stood on that front line, face to face with the enemy, to learn first hand that the fight was not for him. At least he tried his best to help his people."

Orion lit a cigarette, taking a drag. "I do agree with you on one thing," he said cocking an eyebrow. "I agree the war was folly from the very beginning. But I did not let that be an excuse to just let my people die why I ran and hid. I bared my fangs and I ripped the throats out of as many humans as I possibly could, just to give my people some sort of hope. In doing so i watched my brother die before my eyes and took a steak directly in my chest."

Orion reached out, ramming the lit end of his cigarette into the forehead of the 'Traitor', seering as he stubbed it out, the last whisps of smoke swirling away in the breeze. "To look upon you know makes me physically sick. I am beginning to woder why I didn't just tell Yuri to forget my request just this once and kill you where you stood."

Orion spat at Einari's feet with a sneer and, motioning to Dante, turned on his heel and stalked off into the darkness.

(Posting this ahead of time, will continue later)

Einari ignored the spit, as well as the burn. He had met other vampires in his travels, and all of them had treated him the same. A cigarette, a spittle, a curse. These thing past by him like the wind. He had decided his course. He would indeed go with them, because he had knoledge that would pertain to their interests. He had knowledge of the city. He knew the streets, the alleys, to buildings, all by heart. He knew the thieves, the junkies, the bartenders, the informants, the murders, and more. And whats more, they all knew him, and they more than knew him...They feared him.

Einari stowed his switchblade, pulled the lid off a manhole, and disapeared into it, re-emerging a few moments later, his second blade in his pocket. Grabbing his trucker hat and falling into step behind Xornon, who seemed to be satisfied that his catch would come quietly. Richard piped up from the shadows of Einari's mind, "So the great Einari does have fear?", cursing seconds later when Einari sent a bolt of pain through his subconcious. Richard was quiet on the entire trip to the cave.

Dwarfdude
(Just to clarify, you seem to percieve my character as a weak coward, what with the nervous twitching, ect. He is not. Although he is slightly on the weak side, he will fight if he needs to. He prefers to use his intelect and manipulative skills over his blades, though. He is a diplomat, not a general.)

As they set off towards the lair, Einari watched Xornon with mild interest. He was a large, muscular vampire, and Einari had no doub that if he had chosen to fight, he would have been beaten easily. Not saying that Einari wasnt strong, he was immensly strong by human standards, but by vampire standards....Well, he wasn't exactly a wrestler. Einari was, however, extremely fast and agile, and his often slower, stronger opponents could not keep up with his swift movements. This would put them off-balance, and then Einari would use their annoyance and lack of balance against them, hitting them with a flurry of jabs, and then a stong kick, which usually sent them sprawling.

If Einari had any strong part of his body, it was his legs, which were toned and muscled from his constant long-distance running. His endurance while running, he was sure, was unmatched by any creature of this world. That was often his tactic, to run until dawn and lose his pursuers far behind. But he had realized his running days were over, it was time to recieve his judgement.

Einari looked back at Xornon, examining the large vampire carefully, and then spoke.

"So you saw the humans? But you turned tail and fled like me?"

Einari did not say it, but it seemed in his mind that Xornon was just as cowardly as him in that aspect. He didnt wait for an answer, but continued.

"You know...we could just pinch a car and you could show me the way to where ever the f*ck we're going..."

Xornon shot him a look of extreme distaste and anger, although there was some interest behind those eyes, and Einari could see it. He pretended he hadn't though, turning back to the pavement and shrugged, a mumble of "Just saying..." coming from his lips. They walked in silence for a few minutes. Einari noticed that they were staying onto the main streets, instead of the alleyways that Einari knew would get them whever they were headed faster.

"You know the street or whatever of where we're going? 'Cause I have the whole city memorized, I could get us us there probably ten times faster than using the main roads."

Einari saw this as an opportunity to prove his worth to the vampires. They would need a navigator through the city if they needed to get somewhere fast, and he was the man for the job. Perhaps Xornon would vouch for his knowledge of the streets when he confronted, or was confronted by, Khimaria.

(I'd play this guys, but noone seems keen on actually telling me what's going on and when I looked back the posts are waaaaay too long for me to catch up with - I don't even know what sort of vamp I'm playing, or the group dynamic. Orion sighed as he stripped off in his room in their appartment...well, it was Dante's appartment, Orion conceeded to himself, he was just staying there until he found his own place, something he had been in the process of doing for...he paused to scan the presence in his head...nearly five years, apparently.

He flicked the lights off and croosed the room, flopping down onto the bed tiredly, only to grunt in pain and be shot back to wakefulness as his cheek connected with something cold and metallic. With a frown, he flicked on his bedside lamp, eyes being drawn to the sapphire that flickered under its glow. He admired the golden pentagram amulet that the sapphire was set into, picking ti up and rubbing his thumb over.

A black cloudy substance swirled within the sapphire and in an instant, a tiny image of the Fang elders head apperaed within its depths. "Greetings, Master Orion."

Orion's frown deepened. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"A matter of great importance, Master Orion. Something you will be very interested in. Please, you must meet us in our current lair...just let the amulet guide you, it knows the way."

Orion shook his head as the Elders image vanished, wondering just how the amulet would show him the way. He didn't have to wait long, yelping as the amulet came to life in his hands, sending him toppling off he bed. As he sat up rubbing the back of his neck, the amulet hovered before him, it now transformed into a tiny golden snake, held aloft by tiny, furiously beating golden wings. A tiny gold forked tongue flicked erratically.

"Thisssss way, Massssster Orion."

Orion hurried afetr the tiny minescule snake, scooping up his pants and struggling into them as he hopped along. He cursed the little creature as it flew out the window, forcing him to ascend down a frozen water pipe, the icicles attaching themselves to his half naked form.

"Wait! Slow down!" Not even his Vampire speed could assist him as he stumbled after the snake through the snow, running across deserted streets and into the forest. His head whipped from side to side, desperately trying to find the snake that had vanished into thin air. He stepped forward slowly, yelping as he tumbled down a hole in the ground he hadn't seen, landing hard on a stone floor below.

"Nice entrance," A young Fang chuckled, his hideously bruised looking face splitting into a wide grin, amber eyes sparkling under the light of his flaming torch. "You must be Master Orion. The Elder is expecting you. Come, please, follow me."

The young Fang led him through a series of twisting tunnels that all looked alike to Orion, his attuned Vampire senses unable to help him, as if they were being blocked by some kind of strange aura. He could feel it suffocating his sense of direction.

After walking for what seemed like hours, he was led through an archway into a large circular chamber, in its centre a figure stood, covered by a stark white cloth.

"Welcome, Master Orion," The Elder greeted, startling Orion, who had neither seen, nor sensed him. "I am glad you came," he smiled as the winged snake alighted upon his shoulder.

"You knew I would...you know I wouldn't be able to resist your little golden snake when it beckoned."

The Elder chuckled. "Indeed, it is as I planned. Now, I have someone here I want you to see. You know him very well," the Elder continued as he crossed the chamber, pacing a hand atop the head of the covered figure, clasping it as if ready to pull it away. "We have spent many years training him, perfecting him, and he has changed in unatural ways even you would be hard pressed to believe. Please, brace yourself."

With that, the Elder ripped the sheet from the figure, Orion's jaw slowly dropping open in shock, eyes going wide. Realisation dawned on him quickly, a realisation that the Fang had purposefully taken this person away from him, they had faked his death to take him away for something he could not yet understand

Yet, strangely, he felt no anger as he sunk to his knees, and began to weep openly, happiness, sadness, disbelief, all coursing through him, intertwined together and forcing the tears forth.

Soft, elegant hands cupped his cheeks and made him stare into deep violet eyes. "I am not dead. There is no need for you to cry for me. Be strong for me, and together, we will liberate our people. Together, once again, a perfectly tuned fighting pair."

Orion was forced to his feet by those very same hands. "Tell me, will you fight? Will you stand beside me once more? Well, what say you...Brother?"

Orion's body, no matter how hard he tried, refused to react. He was numb, numb from head to toe, his vision transfixed on the eyes of a man he never thought to see again in the world of the living.

Slowly, ever so slowly, his head twitched from side to side, a poor imitation of a shake, but all that he could muster. "Wha...?" He squeaked, unable to even finish the simple one word question.

"You don't understand? But of course you don't. I wouldn't expect that, not even of a Vampire." Zen Vagar smiled as his younger brother, placing Orion's arm over his shoulders to support the heavy metal Vampire and leading him to a stone bench against the wall of the rounded chamber.

"It is simple really. The method may have been a long one, but, really, it is easy to explain. You see," Zen paused to lean Orion up against the wall. "You see, much like yourself, the Fang and I could see form the outset that the war all those years ago was folly. The Fang came up with the idea of taking one of us, in the end it happened to be me, away, to fake their death and turn them into an ultimate warrior. I know what you are thinking, and it took me a while to figure out why they needed to fake my death."

Zen gazed directly into Orion's eyes. "Tell me brother, if I had just disappeared...or if the Fang had shown up and taken me before your eyes, would you have remained idle? Would you have rested?" Zen smiled broadly. "I think not. You would not have rested at all. You would have siphoned through every corner of the globe in search of me until the day you died. eventually, the humans would have disovered something was happening...we just couldn't take that chance. But now...now I have returned, and the humans are ignorant of what is happening around them. Before they realise, it will be far too late for them, and our kind will rise from the ashes to claim what is rightfully ours."

Zen gripped his brother's shoulders hard. "That being the world,Orion. Your little friend Yuri shall have her wish...our kind will break the chains and ascend to power once and for all."

Orion's jaw worked, finally starting to respond. He chewed on nothing, trying to work some saliva into his mouth, a tongue running across his pearly fangs. Oriona gazed deep into Zen's eyes and after an eternity, spoke the only words he could muster.

"I will fight."
