Okay. Well in my team I'd have:
1. Captain America(Leader)
2. Spider-Man(Marvel icon and comic relief)
3. Iron Man(Intelligence and other useful stuff)
4. Black Panther(See Iron Man)
5. Nick Fury(He knows what's going down)
6. Black Cat(Hot)

That's actually quite a good team in terms of getting the job done.

Black Cat is a great fighter, not only eye candy.

What about evil?

Captain America, Doctor Strange, Silver Surfer, (Merged) Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, She-Hulk, Spiderman, Juggernaut, The Thing, Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic, Sue Richards, Daredevil, War Machine, Wolverine.

pitted against:

Red Skull, Loki, Absorbing Man, Destroyer (controlled by Loki,) Ultron, Doctor Doom, Doctor Octopus, Mysterio, Sandman, Abomination, Deadpool, Super-Skrull, Wendigo.

I can't imagine Deadpool fighting for evil purely, or Juggernaut fighting for good.

That's pretty good if you switched em though. Although I believe the good side would whoop it.

Juggernaut's a good guy now; He's an X-man. There's personal benefit in it for Deadpool, so he's joining the bad side.

You think the good side would beat Ultron, Creel, and Destroyer easily? Nah.

Yeah.

Considering some of the names there. Surfer, Hulk, Thor, Strange, Sue Storm.

Good Team:
1. Nick Fury (leader, he definitely has that ability)
2. Black Panther (he is financially very powerful/ formidable)
3. Wolverine (pretty good in terms of fighting and so on, plus he is just awesome)
4. Punisher (just as good as Fury, yet without that leading ability)
5. Cable (for power)
6. Spider-Man (comic relief)

Evil:
1. Dr. Doom (leader)
2. Venom ( to rival Spidey)
3. Sabertooth (to get wolvie pissed off)
4. Bullseye
5. Magneto (for power)
6. Kingpin

spider-man (all-time fave)
gambit (his background would only help)
daredevil (would be my ace in the hole)
punisher (every team needs a bad ass)
iron man ( could use the resources)
bishop (didnt see that one coming did ya)

dr. doom (how can you include a battle without him)
shocker (so underrated)
magneto (c'mon...he's magneto)
sabertooth (the muscle of the team)
the hand (hey, daredevil needs someone to fight)
green goblin (bad guys wouldnt be complete without loose cannon)

Dr. Strange, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, Gladiator, Storm, Nightcrawler, Black Panther

vs

Baron Mordo, Thanos (no cube or gauntlet), Dr. Octopus, Dr. Doom, Magneto, Klaw

Deadpool would fight for the bad side as long as Loki threatened to turn his "son" back into Thom Cruz.

For a Secret War I'd like to see...

A powerful country has come together in the middle of Africa. Several countries, usually at war with one another have miraculously found peace and united. However, now they've started to shun the outside world, all vestiges of technology have been wiped from the country. The world community doesn't like what they're doing, isolating themselves, so the African Country has allowed a modicum of interraction to assuage the fears of the global community. But soon even that stops.

Meanwhile, the King and the Priest sect are busy raising a dark god. To protect their country, the Priests have raised a mystic shield, casting out technology, any magiks not their own, and more. Dr. Strange contacts Nick Fury and Roger Aubrey, telling them of the impending magical disaster. Strange has detected a chink in the magics isolating the African Country, he can transmute 12 people through the shielding, before the spell adapts and locks even the magiks of the Sorcerer Supreme out.

The magic shielding that protects the city from technology and extraneously foreign magic, also keeps out genetic deviants. Mutants, Inhumans, human mutates, Eternals, anyone powered up can't get in. Twelve people, with almost no super powers, must stop a country of people from raising a dark god who'll devour the earth.

Citizen V, Taskmaster, Black Widow, Punisher, Shang Chi, the Cat, Silver Sable, Steel Guardian, Agent 13, The Challenger, Batroc and Boomerang.

A group mixed of heroes and villians, the villains are kind of ambiguous though, for a large enough paycheck guys like Taskmaster, Batroc and Boomerang will do anything, even save the world, and the world needs their talents. However, when there mission goes off without a hitch, the Priests and African King suspected such foul play and already had a backup plan in motion...whereupon the second part of the Secret War starts, encompassing the entire Marvel Universe. bwahahahahaha

good guys- storm, dr. strange, magma, sue storm, emma frost, phoenix, siryn, scarlet witch, and she-hulk

bag guys- sabertooth, magneto, venom, abomination, pyro, baron mordo, avalanch, juggernaute, dr. octopus
