The last son of Krypton toe to toe with the lord of Atilan. Which hero wins? They fight on a deserted Earth. Superman is powerful, but BB can hang with him...and then kick his ass!

Look, I dig the hell out of BB, I'm using him on my team in Scarlet Spider's tournament. I know he knocked Hulk out with a whisper and all, but Superman is not the Hulk. He has a personal forcefield that protects him from any kind of energy but magic and kryptonite radiation. Black Bolt can stun him with his cream, and can keep Superman back with his own incredibly strong forcefield, but I think that eventually BB will tire out before Supes. Still, I'm willing to be proven wrong.

Thor won that fight. Still, it was because of his powers allowed him to relize the disturbance in electron. Superman ain't going to know. Also, Black didn't even utilize his electron blast or even his scream. That was merely a slugfest, and Black Bolt showed he could increase his strength and speed to fight bricks like Thor.

Did you go to the link I provided? There's more of what BB did and to more powerful foes. And Superman doesn't know BB's weakness. Thor felt it due to his powers over lightning.

Gladiator is a joke. He got beat by Cannonball. He's not a viable argument.

It doesn't take a genius to realize that GLOWING fork on someone's forehead may be something to look at. Especially someone with X-ray, microscopic, Peeping Tom vision. Blackbolt is incredibly powerful. But he's not on Superman's level. Superman has way too many things going for him. It would be a great battle. But Superman would eventually come out on top.

Also the characters you mentioned are somewhat near the respective characters level. So them beating the others is not inconceivable.

Gladiator is FAR above Cannonball and Blackbolt and Charles Xavier. And he still got owned.

Im pretty sure its not a faulty arguement because Never's point is that cannonball is WEAKER than superman so if gladiator was beaten by him you could say superman is stronger than gladiator.

Joke or no joke, Gladiator is an extremely powerful character, arguably stronger and more dangerous than Hulk. And Cannonball never beat Gladiator.

Gladiator is EXTREMELY powerful. He's arguably on Silver Surfer's level. And yet he always gets owned by lower-level characters. The guy gets no respect from the writers. He's a joke to the writers. Not to us.

Youre using BB ability to defeat these characters as evidence that he could defeat superman but because they are from different universes you cant do that, its merely your opinion that superman might or might not be stonger/faster than said enemies of BB. Lets just stick to your opnion of who would win between BB and supes.

I will say it again: it is faulty to use a characters bad showings to support your point in another potential vs. battle. So what Gladiator "lost to Cannonball." Almost every character has had a "bad showing" but any fewlio whose IQ is greater than their shoe size knows that Gladiator will demolish Cannonball.

Usually I'm on the road canvassing Marvel subscribers, reading through fan letters, or hitting comic conventions, and getting info on how fans want their marvel characters to be perceived. Demographics show that the Marvel audience are slightly younger than their DC counterparts. Marvel wants to change that. I give my info to the writers/execs/lead artist. It all depedns on whether one supersonic punch can knock out Blackbolt.

Still, Superman is almost twice as strong as BB and he's faster.

It's obvious you didn't even go through the entire thread. I posted scans after scans of BB in action and the "arsenal of abilities" BB has. And all you do is go to Marveldirectory to get some info on BB's stat. Yeah, I and many here agree with that site's accuracy on the listing of Doom's strength as Class 2.

Damn, why do people continue to quote marveldirectory.com as though it were canon? The site's chock full of inaccuracies.

For the record, BB's voicce is WAY more powerful than Banshee's. He can level a mountain range with a whisper. Imagine what he could do with a shout.

His armor augments his strength. It's supposed to be on par with iron Man's dude. Iron Man is well over class 2 strength. On Marvel.com he's even listed as being as strong as Luke Cage, you telling me Cage couldn't lift over 2 tons?

I could also post scan after scan of Superman owning people too,but that wouldn't prove anything. Just that Supes is a good ass kicker, just like BB is.

If you have an accurate bio of BB that says what his strength level is, then post away man. If the bios I've read say class 60, then he's class 60 . I won't change my mind until you bust out a bio that says he's class 80,90 or above. I went and checked Marvel.com but he doesn't even have a bio up, so I went to the directory (which is a good site) and used that.

Also, I even said Supes would lose to BB if he used his cosmic scream. I like both chars, and look at thier strenghts and weaknesses, but you just seem to be a BB fanboy (as if the topic title wasn't enough).

60=base strength

He can amp his power. An example of this is in that scan where BB battles Thor.

Supes would have to kill Black Bolt before he opens his mouth. Once BB starts flowin it's over. Each syllable he shouts has the force of a nuclear warhead. That's the key. If BB gets the chance to talk, Supes will be in big trouble.

BB is no weakling. He can take a punch or two from Superman.

Having a class of strength and TAKING A PUNCH are two entirely different things.

How many times has a character with super strength been knock thru things when they've fought? Thing isnt the Juggernaut, and BB has more than enough strength to knock him off his feet--especially when he was flying at him.

He knocked Thing 100 feet and Thing wasn't even phased. Thing clobbered him and he was groggy from 1 hit. Besides, you already showed him battle with Thor and knock him around a bit, so what does it prove showing him get stunned by 1 blow from a weaker opponent?

The Hulk has eaten Thing for breakfast,lunch, and dinner on many occasions, and Superman can match his strength (for the most part).

If a double axe-handle with a big rock from a class 85 strength opponent makes BB groggy, what do you think a near full strength blow from Superman would do?

Also, anyone with sufficient enough strength can take Gladiator on for a time, and if they were able to knock him around a bit it might even make his self confidence falter, making him weaker.

I never said that Superman would take him out in 1 punch, I said that Superman could use his speed to land a lot more blows than BB, which would put him down for the count. He could also train his heatvision and arctic breth on him while he's doing it.

This is a one on one fight in a desserted place. BB's voice attack is omnidirectional. Try and ZIP around that Supes.

Why do you think they showed Superman and Thor get up at the same time after thier fight? Why do you think Batman admitted to Cap that he would get beaten by him? Why do you think Green Lantern whooped Captain Marvel, but the next time they met CM whooped him?

This crossover was years in the making, and the first time they were going to do it Marvel and DC fought over who would lose to who. They couldn't reach an agreement so they scrapped the comic. This time they knew they had to meet eachother half way.

It could go either way...i will admit i think superman is honestly far stronger and durable etc, at BB base level...BB can charge himself up to take on any challenge eventually. And Superman would def be harmed...if not killed by a scream from BB...if window shattering concusions from Doomsday killed Supes, mountain shattering power of BB would really f-him up.

Who got manhandled? Read the series man. Everytime someone from one company lost to another it was evened out. Noone got dominated in that crossover. I even showed you examples.

And as for the second comment: I was saying that your boy would WIN if that happened! What's your problem with that?
I said IF Superman didn't know about the scream, if they just flew out to the desert and said "let's get it on" then of course Superman wouldn't know about it. Either way I was giving BB a reason why he would win.

Not a hardcore fan...well, yeah. I just think he needs more respect. The ignorance of BB leads people to think he'd get punked by Superman easily cause he's not as strong or all he has is his voice - which is sh!t. His voice is just one of his powers.

Dominate? Yeah, Supes fanboys coming out with "oh Superman will knock him out before BB can use his voice." Right, what a stupid assumption by some posters. Superman doesn't know BB at all. If they fought, and Superman blitzed BB right off the bat before BB can use his voice, then they're assuming Supes knows of BB's powers - which he doesn't.

If anyones going to argue Supes would blitz BB right off, the same could be said about BB using his voice at the beginning of the fight. And no, Superman isn't going to knock BB out before he speaks; he's going to have to land more than one punch to put BB out, which give BB at least a second to utter one word. Sure Clark is fast than light, but moving faster than light is different from operating at light speed.

As for flying and ripping off BB's tunning fork, well then that's making further assumptions that Superman knows that that's BB's weakness.

If neither of these characters knew about eachothers abilities, I'd see BB trying to overpower Superman, and getting taken out before he realized he needed to use his scream to beat him. Plus, doesn't his fork glow when he's increasing his strength?

You don't think someone who fought BB wouldn't notice the glowing fork on his head?

Superman might notice it 10 seconds into the fight and bust it up like Thor did--then again he might not.


Anyways, if you wanted people to respect BB, why didn't you just make a topic with all of his greatest feats (and those scans) instead of this?

Clark would most likely say hi to BB and try to tell him that fighting is bad. BB then says "OKAY" and Supes would be knocked the fug out. Funny but true , Superman most of his fight his holding back , with all his power he should be almost unbeatble.

He is so powerful that he doesn't mind getting hit.

But that will be his downfall in this battle.

But if Superman was MAD as F@ck he will beat BB fast.

Superman uses his super speed all of the time now.

He's been rushing people like that for about two years and counting. It's not some last resort attack like a full powered burst of heat vision to the eyes, it's just what he normally does.

Plus, in Vs. fights it's just that: a Vs. the combatants are going in fighting, it's not some comic book where Superman acts like a chump boy scout.
