Everything that Superman went through during the Death of Superman arc, all the way up to his final battle with Doomsday. Now instead of it being Superman, we replace him with Orion.

How does he do?

The fight would end earlier, with the same outcome though, both die.

The same era that Superman died in. People aren't able to scale up so it's easier that way I guess. Even though people think that DOS Doomsday was weak, that still does not explain how and why he did so well against the heroes of that era. Superman may have gotten a boost, but what about the others that did not?

he would have steamrolled through pretty much anyone you put in front of him at the time--orion included.

Double ko or death, as a warrior he would go for the kill in the very beginning, DD seemed to grow in strength over time and i can see Orion delivering a death blow before he gets even his second hand free, though he could also die in the process.

Doomsday wins. Superman going all out like he did at the end would beat the shit out of Orion. Before that he couldn't even hurt Doomsday at all.

Doomsday but Orion puts a good fight.
