Shouldnt this be in movie discussion. All well

Any way I think Jeepers cReepers is pretty sick both of them.
Like in the first one when the cops heads come of and the creeper thing is ripping his tounge out and eating it. Gross. And in the second one where the kids head is ripped of and his body is walking around. And when the creepers eye gets stuck on the end of a stick thats stuck through his head. They are deffinatly gross

"Meet the Feebles"--fornicating puppets

"Bad Taste"--blood, brains, aliens

The "American Pie" trilogy--you probably already know what I mean

amity75
"Freaks" It's an old black and white film but it uses actual real life "Freaks" and it really disturbs me. It's regarded as a masterpiece.

amity75
Though if you want to go for REALLY sick then any of those cannibal movies will do. Cannibal Apocalypse is particularly nasty.

RonyLeBeau
Freddy Got Finger.... Very disturbing blink ....but i only watched the first 20 minutes. i had to turn it off.... it's a gross/dumb movie

Evy_O
Irreversible! Just GROSS! roll eyes (sarcastic)

botankus
LOL @ thumb up considering my sig..

My vote would be for the movie Gummo, which also features Chloe Sevigny in it.

Linkalicious
Cabin Fever was by far the grossest movie i can remember...i'll never look at a female the same way again. Se7en was also kinda gross too.

Kes
That movie is brilliant! A bit violent in some scenes but not gross.

Evy_O

Citadel
omg, texas chainsaw massecre... when the girl sticks the gun in her mouth and pulls the trigger, and you, ugh, see the hole in the back of her head and the hole in the back window and the blood and guts and brains.... UGGGH! that was so nasty... SO DAMN NASTY! im not even kidding you... i almost walked out of the theater, and that was the FIRST part of the movie!!!!

Kes
The beating after-wards is worst. But that does not change the way the story is told, the way they use the camera and how well they use it. The subtle hints...I loved it big grin But I can see why ppl do not like it, its hard to stomach it and its very very far from the mainstream stuff.

Punker69
I geuss Cabin Fever has to be the grosset movie ive ever seen along with GIGLI smile

MarkHobin
One Word "FREAKS"

*Danii*

dean7879
sickest movie has to be irreversible.it only has two scenes that disturb which are the rape scene and the guy getting his head bashed in with a fire extinguisher, what makes the scene disgusting is the way the camera doesnt move away from the action once but the guys face gets more and more mashed....this is the first time a scene from a movie has made me feel nauseus..i woudnt recomend this film to anyone because its not really entertainment, just a film that accuretly shows the way the world is

BackFire
Irreversible

I Stand Alone

Cannibal Holocaust

Men Behind the Sun

Henry - Portrait of a Serial Killer

Cannibal Holocaust

Ichi the killer has some sick scenes

The one where the guy cuts his own tongue off.
The one where the guy gets spliced down the middle.
The one where somebody tries to hit him, and he eats his hand.
The one at the end where the guys entire jaw drops open.

Check out the trailer:

All the sick movies I can think of have already been mentioned except for some scenes on Hollow Man that were pretty sick, but they weren't the worst I've seen.

Dr. Strangelove
Suprised nobody has mentioned the remake of The Fly.

BackFire
Salo: 120 Days of Soddom and Audition are both really sick.

If I had to choose one that I thought really topped all the others, it was Salo: 120 Days of Soddom. By far the most disgusting and nausiating film you will ever see.

pr1983
audition is bad, but gozu is worse

BackFire
The cool thing about Audition is that it didn't rely on blood and gore, it just had some extremely disturbing ideas and insinuations.

When that man who was kept in the burlap sack popped out with his tongue missing and started drinking milk like a dog..... that's the stuff nightmares are made of.

Lord_Andres
Hellraiser should be mentioned, it would be wrong not too!

BackFire
For it's time, Hellraiser was definitely freaky.

pr1983
backfire id agree with u to some extent, next time i see my gf(shes asian) ill look at her differently

Lord_Andres
Here are two more worth mentioning

Day Of The Dead
Cannibal Ferox

BackFire
Hah, same here. My GF is asian and she looks somewhat similar to the girl in Audition at times, kinda freaks me out every now and then.

Lord_Andres

BloomBabyGirl
I thought the final destination movies were kinda sick and gory. the first one when sean william scott died but more in teh second one when the boy got hit by that thing that fell on him, when his moms head got ripped off by the elevator, when the barbwire fence sliced that guy in thirds, when the ladder imapiled the guys eyes

Cinemaddiction
Absolutely correct, and maybe that's why it is my favorite horror movie of all time.

Johnlindsey289
Cannibal Holocaust. ( Very immoral and not easy to watch snuff-like film, very blair witch project-esque in South America featuring animals being ripped opened, cannibalism, abortion and that stuff).

Cannibal Ferox.
Freddy Vs. Jason.
Dead Alive.
The Last House on The Left.
I Spit on Your Grave.
Maniac ( 1980).
Driller Killer.
Pieces.
The Beyond.
City of the Living Dead.
Evil Dead.
Re-Animator.
Day of the Dead.
Natural Born Killers.
The Toxic Avenger.
Videodrome.
Caligula.

ladygrim
i gota agree wit from hell as based on true happenings ...

Red Superfly
I found Reservior Dogs to be the sickest film. I've seen almost every movie ever, and 'Dogs has to be the most disturbing - I'm thinking the whole Mr. Blonde torture scene here.

It's amazing considerring there's no limbs, brains or anything, just blood. It's all the more realistic, and disturbing because of it.

OTT films like typical horror movies tend to overdo the shock factor and just numb you to scenes you should normally find horrible - but Reservior Dogs builds up Mr.Blonde and makes you like him, then the sick freak does THAT to that poor cop.

ladygrim

nomsans
um i would have to say...
King of the Ants.?

BloomBabyGirl
^ i hated that movie! totally pointless gory shit

I'm bumping this thread because I was just going to open one like it.

I just saw Salo: The 120 Days of Soddom, Irreversible, and Ichi The Killer. Next up is Tetsuo: The Ironman, I heard that was sick as all hell.

And I'm definitley taking a peek at some of the other movies in here, like Audition and Cannibal Holocaust. Movies like Cabin Fever and 28 Days Later are too tame. stick out tongue

King_Thorin
sickest i would say are those faces ofdeath movies, stupid and sick, and snuff.

It was a bittorrent, but shhh, don't tell anyone. The problem was that it didn't have subtitles, so i watched it and only understood a few words (spanish is close enough, and i know that pretty well). Then I got rid of it. Having a movie you don't understand is pretty useless.

So i have to find it with subtitles, the DVD is slightly expensive, normal ones around $30-40(soley from rarity) and can be found online, but don't get fooled by some of these DVDs. There is an August 1998 edition from Criterion that was removed from the market because of some kind of copyright infringement, and it's priced at over $600. Who would buy a $600 DVD you say? I don't know, but there must be someone desperate enough, I saw one for $900 the other day.

Amazon should have it reasonably priced, I'm looking to buy it as well.

It completely lives up to its name in disgustingness though, definitly worth watching. Not worth $600 though.

I already have a bootleg copy on DVD, very good quality, apparantly a direct copy of the Criterion version. Bought it at the San Diego Comic Con 2 years ago for 15 bucks. Last year they were selling them yet again for the same price, I imagine this year will be the same.

The dialogue is a big part of that movie, some of the most disturbing stuff is brought out through dialogue rather than actions.

Arachnoidfreak
If I could get to the Comic Con, I'd get it(wait, what the hell is Salo doing at a Comic Con?)

I thought that was the case, as when they had 'story time' i really didn't understand much but it must have been disturbing. i have to find it

BackFire
They have a lot of movie vendors there, that specialize in rare, out of print and cult movies. They had Eraserhead, Cannibal Holocaust, Salo, Battle Royale and others.

Now that I finally seen Antropophagus (Grim Reaper) uncut and uncensor. I can say that it is one of the most sickest and disturbing films of Joe D' Amato. One particular scene did it for me.

I've seen plenty of gore and disturbing movies. But Antropophagus stands alone with the scene of the psycho pulling out the embryo from the woman and eating it. too sickening...

I can name at least 500 movies that falls into that category but there's this one movie that I regret watching but can't seem to forget. This movie is so sick that watching it will make you nautious, then give you a pounding headache, and then the ending will make wanna vomit uncontrollably is (drum rolls) the 2000 remake of FOG. The wooden and disturbingly bad performances of the entire cast from Selma to Tom to the ludicrously moronic sci-fi effects, to the whole movie that was supposed to be scary but ended up being confusingly funny. I was wondering why am I naive enough to rent any movies that has Tom Welling in it? Why did Selma whom I always considered an underrated good actor had anything to do with this movie? Why, Why, why???? This movie makes you realize that just having the superior sci-fi effects of this day and age can't make up for a bad plot line paired up with annoyingly good-looking, empty headed, sans skills actors. And that your bad co-actors can have devastating effects on even a good actress.

You need to see some of the movies in here then.

Men Behind the Sun, Audition, Ichi the Killer, August Underground, Tetsuo The Ironman, Man Bites Dog, Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment, Salo: or the 120 days of Sodom

I thought Salo was the sickest until I saw Men Behind the Sun. That was just twisted.

BackFire
You saw August Underground? I'm kind of curious about that movie, but don't really want to invest money into buying it blindly, seeing as I've heard more bad things then good things.

Men Behind the Sun is definately bad, though I think Salo is much worse.

Arachnoidfreak

Men Behind the Sun is definately bad, though I think Salo is much worse.

Not yet but I am getting August Underground's Mordem, supposed to be sicker than the first even, thought not as powerful. I want the first but it's actually hard to find.

I'll come back with an update for A.U.M.

Also getting Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, looking forward to seeing this one.

BackFire
Henry is great, one of my favorites. Not as sick as some of the other films mentioned in this thread, but far and away a much better film then almost all of them.

Arachnoidfreak
Awesome.

I had just caught Guinea Pig 1 the other day and though the first 3/4 of it was overrated and unrealistic compared to films like Men Behind the Sun, and then I got to the eyeball scene. I think it nearly made up for the rest of the film.

BackFire
You should see the other films in the Guinea Pig series, the first one, while being the most purely depraved, isn't as intense as some of the others. The Flower of Flesh and Blood is pretty much the same thing as the Devils Experiment - a fake snuff film - but it's far gorier. This is the most infamous one in the series because Charlie Sheen mistook it for a real snuff film and an invensigation ensued, as a result it was banned in American for a while. Much better then Devils Experiment.

However, in my opinion, the best, and most disgusting one is Mermaid in the Manhole, truley a sick film that is. Also the only one that has a real artistic purpose and theme. It's like an arthouse gore-flick. Also the one about the guy who can't die is pretty neat, great dark humor in that one.

Arachnoidfreak
I think I'll give the other Guniea Pigs a look then, and Mermaid in a Manhole...but a film about a man who can't die sounds really interesting.

BackFire
I just broke down and bought the whole dvd set about a year ago. I wanted to see them all and it was cheaper then buying each one individually.

Arachnoidfreak
Seeing an actual snuff film is more disturbing than anything in this thread though. The most disturbing, even more than anything that has come out of the middle east, was one Russian decapitation from the Chechen Wars that I saw off of Kazaa. Maybe I think it's the worst because it was my first. It's probably the entire reason I watch all of these twisted films. Trying to get that level of just pure shock back.

BackFire
All real videos are going to be worse then any fictional film you'll see, simply because you know the fictional films are staged, and you have that comfort level that people will by default fall back on (wow, this is bad, but I know it's not real). Watching those videos from the middle east offer no such comfort, you know you're watching the final moments of a human beings life, being stolen by another human being, you're watching the worst aspect of real life, and you know that it's taking place in this very world that we live in, not a fantasy projection of our world.

Also, just a little tidbit, those videos don't qualify as snuff, a snuff film is a film that shows the death of a person for monetary gain. There's actually never been a real snuff film ever found, or so they say.

wonner
I think that worst movies ever are Saw (both parts)... and the first place goes to (ta-dam) Alone in the Dark

Arachnoidfreak

Agreed, but the monetary gain part is a technicality for the Russuian snuff, they used to show them on prime time t.v...if no snuff film has ever been found, that's about as close as it will get.

Want to know something funny? I've never heard of a SINGLE one of those movies! eek
Are they foreign or just not popular enough to make it into theater or something?

The Highlord
They are foreign, and not gotten (maybe understandable) much promotion, cause of the footage.

All are foreign except for August Underground.

All are also pretty old, except for August Underground, which was made a few years ago. Audition is a little less then 10 years old.

Plus, I don't think any of them had large theatrical releases when they were released.

Stil, all those he mentioned are among the quintessential of the video nasties, those are the worst of the worst, the baddest of the baddest, and the most depraved of the depraved.

Arachnoidfreak
Also, some were even banned in certain countries.

Salo getting the honor of being banned the most I think, being banned in 6 countries at one point.

Italy, Australia, Finland, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Norway.

It's been unbanned since, but still. Impressive track history.

Also, I saw Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, and it's very good, but several other movies based on real serial killers are just as good. Gacy, Dahmer, Ted Bundy just to name a few. They've all been good.

BackFire
I didn't think any of those were nearly as good as Henry. None were nearly as well made, disturbing, shocking, or believable as Henry. Plus Micheal Rooker was amazing in the film. Plus you gotta remember that Henry was made a full 20 years before those other films, that obviously borrowed a lot of elements from it.

The family murder scene is one of the most legendary, infamous and effective scenes in horror cinema.

Out of those that you mentioned, I thought Ted Bundy was the best, but still, no where near as strong as Henry, IMO.

Arachnoidfreak
ha, yea, I didn't realize it was made 20 years prior to those. That sets it at a different standard then. It's still such an effective movie 20 years later and just as good if not better than more recent serial killer movies.

And the family murder scene really was ****ed up 3 ways from Sunday.

next up: August Underground's Mordem

BackFire
Awesome, be sure to post about it.

I heard that the actress who played the mother in the family murder scene had a nervous breakdown after filming because of the content of that scene.

Arachnoidfreak
Alrighty, just saw August Underground's Mordem. I'm glad I saw it for free. I wouldn't pay to see this movie. I guess that would go along with the whole 'home movie' theme. Who pays for home movies?

Anyway, it's...mediocre quality at best. It's sick, it's twisted, and it's disturbing...if you couldn't tell that it's fake at times.

There are scenes where the victims are supposed to be crying and you actually hear them laughing. I suppose because it's so ridiculously over the top that it's funny. The dialogue is laughable and gives it away.

However, if it didn't look so fake at certain points, it'd definitly be top 5 most disturbing film material. A+ for special effects though.

the crazy chick in it could be hot if the camera stayed still and she got rid of all the extra makeup and crappy 'goth' jewelery.

I hear the first August Underground is waaayy better though, much more real and a larger impact. I gotta find it.

Arachnoidfreak
Just saw a film called "Aftermath" by Nacho Cerda.

It's disgusting for the sake of being disgusting. It's about a mortitician who is also a necrophiliac.

So basically the plot is he cuts open a dead body, plays with the organs, then screws it in a huge bloody mess, takes pictures of everything, cleans up, feeds the heart to his dog.

'I Stand Alone', directed by Gaspar Noe - Director of Irreversible.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0157016/

Unless there's another movie about a butcher who goes crazy....which there probably is.

The Passion of the Christ made me cringe, mostly because of the realism behind the scenes.

GODOFALL1
NIGHTMARE CAMPUS(TOTALLY TOTALLY SICK!)

Wow...I made this thread like 6 years ago!

Anyway, while watching a lot of movies since then i'd say the sickest i have seen are Braindead, Cannibal Holocaust and Romper Stomper. Romper Stomper because its scary how that shit actually happens, so close to where i live too.

Hostel 1 and 2 was very sick

Romper Stomper, eh?

I'll take a look.

I thought Cannibal Holocaust was a tad cheesy. It wasn't as bad as others had told me. However, for it's time, I bet it was horrendous.

As far as physical gore goes i'd probably stick with, Inside. There are definitely gorier movies out there. I have yet to see the entire guinea pig series but the ones i've seen didn't do anything for me but they do boast some disturbing scenes. As far as August Underground, that movie fell completely flat for me. Maybe, it's because i've become so desensitized but i think it has more to do with the poor filmmaking. As a movie there should be some kind of insight into the victims and villains, i received none of that. It just came off as an hour of shock and porn scenes loosely pieced together

Martyrs is definitely a good "sick" movie but there is something about, Inside. The gore felt extremely real to me much like the infamous scene in Irreversible. the most disturbing movies to me have always been the psychological driven ones.

Cannibal Holocaust still remains as the sickest movie i've seen. Yeah, i've more shocking things on the internet than a turtle being split open. The internet has become the snuff beacon for all of us interested in the macabre. However, even though the movie is shit there was something about the turtle scene in, Cannibal Holocaust that just shook me. It could have to do with the age at which i first saw it.

The Butcher
Probably Hostile movies.

I remember being disgusted by Sleepaway Camp as a teenager.
But I haven't made a great study of films that make me want to hurl.
That's why I won't watch Pink Flamingos, for that sick ending.

I wouldn't bother...It's not very good. One of Russel Crowe's early performances.

It's certainly not brutally violent.
