So, we're pretty sure it's PG-13 (I was hoping for R), but we don't know yet.

How soon will it be rated?

i thought we already knew it was pg-13 or maybe ppl just said it was.

It WILL be PG-13

It will be rated when its done and relased to the MPAA to be rated.

Return of the king was pg 13 and lots of death and head lopping going on there.

Well all three LOTR movies were PG-13. The movie will be rated whenit is complete4d, sometime in April.

AOTC was 'M' (Mature audiences 16+) here...

There is no set rating yet, Lucas himself believes it will be PG-13, unless he goes back on his promise about not cutting out some scenes to make it PG.

Here, I think Return of the King was M too...

we don't have pg13... just G, PG, M, R16 and R18

I think the actual rating is 'Suitable' for mature audiences 16+, not restricted to...

hmm... ok, on the IMDb it says AOTC was rated PG here, but on my DVD it's rated M for "Adult themes"...

whatever... I'm banking on an M for ROTS

Why the hell would you want an R rating?

PG-13 is fine.

It doesn't matter to me, I'm going to see it.

Australian ratings are similar to NZ ratings, except it's M15+. Here's the odd thing: In the cinema and on the VHS, AOTC was rated PG for Low Level Violence... and then the DVD version was rated M15+ for Adult Themes. This one has been confusing me for months.
