I like both these guys, Carnage is tough to beat but the Thing isn't exactly a pushover either

The Thing gets no help from the Fantastic Four and no sonic/heat weapons.

They can both use anything around them and are fighting in the middle of New York ................ as per most Marvel battles

i wouldn't have thought so....... but he is much faster than the Thing and can extend his symbiotic tendrils into the Thing via his cavities...... ie his mouth or nose

I'd give it to Carnage...faster, more agile....Thing has strength and brains, but Carnage is pretty damn ruthless.

Carnage would probably pick people up off the street and smack the Thing with them mashing them all up into paste...... it would definitely give him the psychological edge

well, seeing as spiderman has no problem taking care of ben, i doubt carnage would either...

he doesn't? when have they fought? i've never seen a fight between Spidey and the Thing (except for the time when Spidey had just started out and tried to join the FF)

Thing wins imo (more experienced, smarter, better fighter and tough as hell) but he better be very careful, or he'll end up dead.
