X-TEAM is anyone associated with word X-men or Excalibur comics villain or hero. No Phoenix/Dark Phoenix, New Sun, or God like Cable.

Sauron and the beings of Mordor are a powerful lot. Can the might of this X-TEAM take on Sauron and Mordor?

Scenario: Since Gandalf and all the elves have gone away, Sauron rebuilds his forces, slaughters the humans of middle earth, and middle earth has no hope. Only a few hundred humans are still alive, most of which are farmers and laborers, not fighters. A few hobbits as well. Merlin, a good friend of Gandalf was asked by Gandalf to check on middle earth every now and then, he did and saw what has happened. Merlin then contacted Captain Britain, who was told to call Xavier, who in turn summoned all available X-men, and former enemies to help the remaining survivors of middle earth. The survivors have fortified themselves into a rebuilt Helmsdeep, which 15,000 orcs are ready to assault. Fortunately, Merlin and the reinforcements have arrived a week with some equipment from their dimension. Beast and Forge get to work on the technological aid that will aid the survivors against Sauron and his forces. A few days before the orcs arrive, and informs the X-Team on what their up against. A couple days before the battle, Cyclops, Havok, and Britain get to work on a strategic combat plan. Helmsdeep is not the only battle they must contend with. If they survive this fight, they will head for Sauron, and his ghastly army of over a 50,000 orcs, 30 trolls, 12 wraiths. 20 Giant elephants with those guys on their back, and Sauron himself.

X-Team

250 Human survivors armed with lightweight osmium armor, helmets, shields, and vibrainium long swords.

100 human survivors armed with lightweight osmium armor, helmets,
bows, and vibrainium tipped arrows

VS.

15,000 orcs, 10 trolls, 5 giant elephant things with those guys on their backs

If they survive this battle, will they get to Sauron? They'll have 2 months of prep after this battle at Helmsdeep, to rest and heal up, to go after Sauron.

Here, this is what they'll go up against in 2 months of prep if they survive the first battle.

Ringwraiths get dropped into the middle of Helms Deep from their flying creatures and just start wasting everyone in sight. Meanwhile, outside, the trolls roll up Grond, the big wolf-headed battering ram covered in spells of ruin they used to smash the gates of Gondor. This time Sauron himself shouts the words of terror and the gate is smashed in two blows. Orcs pour in and start fighting. Pretty soon they begin to realize the value of the human's armor, and start beheading them and stealing the armor for themselves. The flying mutants are knocked out of the air with showers of massive boulders from Sauron's catapults and the ringwraiths kill anyone, human or mutant, who gets close.

The Oliphaunts ony real use would be as mobile archery and seige platforms, and probably would get taken out. The X-TEAM would definitely survive, but Sauron would walk away intact along with all of his ringwraiths. After that, it's a simple matter of going back to his unbreachable fortress and slaughtering or corrupting any mutant who comes along. God Wizard? Meet Demigod whos is so powerful it took five other demigods to drive him back when he was without his ring. Captain Britain? Meet the Witchking, a creature of evil who cannot be killed by any man. Everyone else say hello to a giant spider, orcs wearing your special armor, thousands upon thousands of trolls (since Sauron apparently kept almost all of them in reserve), The Mouth of Sauron who learned sorcery from the big man himself and the rest of the ringwraiths.

EDIT: Wait, no, just remembered something. Instead of slaughtering people, the ringwraiths target any mutants they can, stabbing them with Morgul-knives and leaving them behind to die and turn into more wraiths under the control of Sauron.

I loved that movie. Wasn't it cool when everything gets sucked back into the game, even the time that passed.
